Damage Control February!!!

This morning's work out was TT Wk 4 Day 1...
5@30/15 of all::
1) Prisoner Squat, Alt Lateral Lunge (I used blue band on ankles), T Push Up, Total Body Ext, Mtn Clmbrs.
~1 min rest~
2) Lateral Jumps, Alt Reverse Lunges, Narrow Stance Push Ups, Body Weight Squats (I used weight here), Spdrmn Climb.
~1 min rest~
3) Split Stance Squat R (I used weight on these), Split Stance Squat L, Jumping Jacks, Alt Elevated Push Ups, Bodysaw.
~1 min rest~
4) Lunge Jumps, Ice Skaters, Decline Push Ups (on upside down Bosu), Prisoner Reverse Lunges, Total Body Extensions.
~1 min rest~
5) Burpees, Lateral Split Shuffle (used grn band), X-Body Mnt Clmbr, Diagonal Forward Lunge, Run in Place (I subbed in squat jumps)

So I weighed in this morning. The scale is + .4 (not a big deal but would have rather seen a negative there) and BF is - .6 <--- Happy Girl here!!! :D
 
Today was TT week 4 Day 2::

Bodyweight Bootcamp 3 circuit workout::
do each circuit 2 x thru with one min rest at end of each circuit. do each move for 30 secs. no rest between moves. only between circuits.
...
1) Prisoner squat for 30 secs
2) T push ups for 30 secs
3) Ice Skaters for 30 secs
4) Diag Lunges for 30 secs
5) Squat Shuffle for 30 secs
Rest for a min and repeat, then move on to next circuit below...

1) Burpee for 30 secs
2) Switch Lunge Jumps for 30 secs
3) X Body Mntn Climber for 30 secs
Rest for a min and repeat, then move on to next circuit below...

1) Narrow Stance Push Up for 30 secs
2) Narrow Stance Squats for 30 secs
3) Inchworm for 30 secs
4) Split Shuffle for 30 secs
5) Squat Thrust for 30 secs
Rest for a min and repeat.

Then I did this optional 10 min Bodyweight Conditioning Workout::
1) Jump Squats for 4@10/20
2) Mntn Climbr Push Ups for 4@10/20
3) Split Stance Jumps alternating R-L for 4@10/20
4) Burpees for 4@10/20
5) Jacks for 4@10/20See More

This morning I did a dumbbell complex::

10 alternating goblet lateral lunges
5 goblet squats
5 goblet reverse lunges right
then 5 left
and last but not least...
20 db swings
x 8 rounds! :eek:
 
MON - ugh

why do weekends fly by so fast!! and we are once again slammed .. and i have had some DOOZY of some customers today :mad: managed a nice run w/Brutus SAT and did Bob Harper yoga/core this weekend .. he looked so much better before he lost his mind to crossfit!!!

Today .. I finally made it to CC and did some heavy weights .. my sanity needed more than anything .. this job is killing me some times!! tonight will be either ZWOW or CVX .. but man Wendy that TT (bodyweight bc) one you posted looks enticing!!! May switch things up and do it!!

Wendy .. congrats on body fat loss!!! It is warm here .. and then it is to drop back down to 20's THURS nigth .. I swear .. doesnt make sense!!! wish it was like this for a long time .. GORGEOUS day!! and I am stuck in the insane asylum~!!

I slept like poop last night so no work out for me this morning. Got extra shut eye instead. Might be a blessing in disguise too as my my legs n azz are soooooooo SORE from y'day's work out!!!!Cowabunga! :eek::eek::eek:

So after having such great will power and not ordering P90X3, I caved on another ALMOST as pricey program!:rolleyes: Tracy Anderson's Metamorphosis: Abcentric. :eek:

Laura:: Sorry work sucks. :( Mine is finally getting better as they hired someone to do my old job. She started yesterday. :) That's a HUGE monkey off my back! :rolleyes: Let me know what you think of the TT work out if you do it!;)
 
HI Ladies,

I could've sworn I checked in. hmmm, must be a sign of old age. I took Saturday off completely. I started feeling signs of overtraining and think I need to take at least a full day off per week. Sunday I did Butts & Guts. Goodness, that is one long w/o. No wonder I don't reach for it often.

Last night was bootcamp class. She told us that each time we are at the rec ctr we need to run 20 sets of stairs! Last week it was 10 sets of stairs. Next week will probably be 30-oh my. One of the exercises was sitting on the edge of a mat and walking our legs basically to drag ourselves across the floor. My hamstrings are so sore today.

This morning I did TTM Extreme! I'm considering adding more circuits back into my rotation. That really seemed to help with the weightloss.

This is the last week of the cleanse. I'm ready for meat and alcohol!

Wendy-you are rockin' the workouts girl!!! Sorry for the no sleep. I hate when that happens. I did splurge on P90X 3. Think I ordered it last Thursday and I still haven't received a shipping notice. :mad: It'll probably just appear in my mailbox sometime this week. By the way, I'm not doing the 30 day meal plan. I need some time off and want to add meat into my diet. That one is also a vegan plan. I really like the TT you posted for the 23rd.

Laura-I'll be joining on P90X soon! I love that they are short and I can add additional work to it if I want. Heavy weights are great for stress relief. Keep up the good work.

Hey ..

been another busy day - Volunteering at Arbor day event - then come back to same old same old! ugh!! last night we did Warrior .. and boy those heavy weights made my legs SOOOOOOOO heavy .. they felt like they were made of lead!! I figured i would not be able to move today .. the way they were burning and shaking .. but so far .. they are just again .. heavy .. not real sore!! Now that is not to say what it is gonna be like when I start moving tonight! Tonight is Combat plyo HiiT ..

Wendy - thinking I am gonna do that TT tmrw the BC one ... I slept like crap last night too .. my outside dogs decided to bark all night.. I think they found that cat and they were raising cain .. then DH couldnt sleep and was bumping and banging around .. GGRRRRRRRRRRRR .. NO SLEEP! ugh .. I am a draggin!

Di - I know you will love the p90x3 - to me the best of the series!!! of course .. Tony is Tony .. cant change that .. but i like him .. doesnt bother me .. he is silly at times .. but it is funny to me!

OK - Tonight I did the work out that I slept through this morning! Here it is::

TT Wk 4 Day3::

4@10/20 - jacks...
8@10/20 - bw squats
4@10/20 - push ups
6@10/20 - split lunge jumps
4@10/20 - spiderman climbs
6@10/20 - trx row or run in place (I subbed in a band row)

then TT optional Conditioning Ladder::

8 Burpees - 8 Split Shuffles per side (16 total) - 8 Total Body Extensions
Then 7 of each then 6 of each...etc until you get to 1 of each. As little rest as possible. :)
 
This morning I did 3 timed mini circuits:

Get Ups - 4@15/1:00
Split Stance Squat w/One Arm Shldr Press & Inverted Rows - 8@15/30
Plank to Push Ups - 4@30/30 ...

Short but not easy!
 
Hi ladies,

This morning I did the BR challenge Day 1. I really love these workouts and seemed to have the best results with them.

I was down .4 at my weigh in today. I seriously do not think it's worth giving up meat, chocolate and alcohol if I'm not losing weight. I only have a few more days left of the cleanse. I was up .4 last week and down .4 this week, so frustrating.

We are going out to dinner tonight, mexican food, definitely not cleanse friendly. We are also going out to dinner Saturday night Jerod's birthday. He picked a BBQ place, glad that is the last day of the cleanse for me.

Wendy-Nice w/o! Are you familiar with the Project Me program? They are offering it at a nearby gym, not my normal gym though. I'm cosidering doing it and have emailed them to get the cost and details.

Laura-How was combat HIIT?? I love that w/o!

another crazy day ... ugh! We did Combat plyo hiit last night.. yup that is a killer one .. and turns out my legs were a hurtin from the heavy weights the day before .. b/c they were ON FIH-YAH last night during those torture plyo lunges!!! yikes!!! tonight is Flextrain mish mosh! (can feel my tris screaming already)

Di - NOPE .. no meat and no alcohol for no more loss than that .. H##LLLL NAW!!!!!! :confused::confused::confused: I would be ticked!!! LOL --- what is the Project Me ????

Another not so great night last night so I slept in which means no work outs for me. :rolleyes: Can't do it later either - work calls!

So I am impatiently waiting for my TA workouts to arrive! :p In the meantime I am agonizing over weather or not I should try to add in some weight training circuits to the rotation or not. I probably wouldn't worry so much if I hadn't just laid off the weights for a month with TT and then crippled myself with weights when I finally used them the other day!:p Thing is, I don't want to interfere with the results of TA so I'm not sure what I should do....:rolleyes:

Di:: I had never heard of Project Me so I Googled it. ;) Sounds like they are big on nutrition so if you are looking for a program that emphasizes food but isn't a cleanse then it could be a good choice for you! Let us know how it goes! Precision Nutrition is also supposed to be excellent for the food end but IDT it includes any work outs....And so now you know why I am not giving up meat or alcohol during my detox! :p LOL I've cut back on the alcohol though and have given up sweets completely except for trace amounts in my cut down coffee intake and my almond butter. It doesn't have to be all or nothing to work IMO. :)

Laura:: Nice workout! Some day I'll do Combat again before I die! LOL :p Yikes - 20's is crazy cold for you down there! OMG! You poor thing!:(

Hello Ladies ..

It is crazy again .. had a luncheon today .. OMG .. that FOOD was AWESOME .. black eyed peas - green beans - mashed potatoes - and MX cornbread mmm mmm mmm:D I am stuffed .. Did Flextrain last night and it KILLED my upper body - TRIS specifically - EEEEOOOOUCH!!!!! :confused::confused::confused: they are FRIED!!! Tonight is prbly gonna be lower body tri sets to even out the pain!! :confused::confused::confused:

TMRW is FIRST of month - OH MY - will be even more insane .. will TRY to check in - but imagine we are gonna be slammed!

Wendy - I need to cut back on my CAB consumption - and here lately I have been eating GOOD food - TOO good .. I need to clean it up BIG TIME!!! ----Yup it was 30 this morning .. and to plummit to low 20's tonight .. then back up to 60 tmrw .. CRAZY!!! re: weights/TA ... from what I know TA is all body weight/or VERY light weight / HIGH rep pilate'-like exercises .. I certainly dont think it would hurt to hit weights before hand .. the TA is going to hit those tiny little fiber muscles .. I actually think a combo of the two would be the ULTIMATE! ;) (if you could find the TIME)

Hi Ladies,

We went out for Mexican food Wednesday night, I weighed this morning and an up 2#'s. Probably just water and should be gone in a day or two.

We had a tough class last night. It consisted of running laps, running stairs, and then 10 each of burpees, tricep dips, and pushups. I think there were 10 rounds but we only got through 6 during class. It started with 10 laps, 7 stairs, pushups, burpees and dips. The number of laps and stairs varied each time. My legs are so sore this morning.

Although I never received a shipping notice, P90X3 arrived yesterday.:D I'll have a chance to look at it this weekend. Also, I ordered the Meaningful Beauty Skin care program. I hope it helps. I don't like that it's an auto ship program but saw on Amazon that we can order individual products as needed. Plus, since it's new to me, I don't know how my skin will react.

I'm getting a microderm/hydrafacial today. Time for some pampering!

Wendy-good luck with the TA program. I went through the bodytyping and I'm onmicentric. I have a meeting scheduled for Sunday at 11am with gym owner to go over the project me program and a couple others that they offer to determine which would be best for me. Funny you mention Precision Nutrition, I bought that a long time ago and still look through it from time to time. The Project Me is 3 w/o's per week at his gym in addition to the nutrition stuff. It looks they may be big into supplements though and that's usually very expensive and I'm not sure they do what they say they do.

Laura-you are getting some kick ass w/o's in. I'm sure those are offsetting your "too good" food choices as of late! :p Here's a link that talks about the project me program: ProjectMe – Serious Nutrition and Performance

Quick work out and weigh in report::

This morning I did Tracy Anderson's Transformer Series Muscle work out # 1. :eek::eek::eek:

My weigh in made me happy...I'm down 1.6# and .7% bf from last Friday and 4.6# and 1.3% BF total so far! :D

Got my Tracy Meta workouts in the mail this afternoon. I plan on starting them tmrw!

OMG my abs are really sore from doing the TA Transformer work out y'day and now I have to start Meta today! I am soooo dead!:eek:

Di:: I can't wait to here about your meeting at the gym tmrw and what you decide to do. Keep us posted for sure! So when will you start trying out the P90X3 work outs? :D

Laura:: Apparently according to the TA rotation, it's 30 mins of muscle work and 30 mins of cardio every day - 6 days a week. That being said, I will NOT have time for anything else. I am going to do it as prescribed and see what happens! If I am not satisfied after a month, I will re-think my rotation. So have you begun CAB reduction yet? I only had ONE drink last night!!!! I don't know what was wrong with me but I just didn't want anymore after the first one! I was so disappointed in myself!:p

Guess that's all for now. Perhaps I'll be back after my work out to tell y'all about it...if I can get up off the floor!:p
