No work out for me this morning. Slept right thru...:rolleyes:

Diana:: 500 MC's is actually a BR challenge that I have done in the past. TY-it ain't easy! Great job with your work outs! You should have set up the 90 yr old man with the blonde big ear lobed tattoo girl!:p
 
Hi Ladies,

My body hurts, just like I thought it would after bootcamp last night. My legs and triceps especially. Guess that makes today a good day for Back and Biceps! The scale is down another .5 this morning.:D

I'm getting really stressed about not having everything done for Christmas since it is being hosted at my house. I've started a list so I can make sure either DH and I....yes I've enlisted him to help out...can get everything done. I usually do all the shopping and all the wrapping. We need to finish our shopping this weekend.

Wendy-Everyone deserves a rest day now and then. Enjoy
 
Nice job on the DOMS, Diana! I haven't been DOMS free since I started the S90 rotation!!! SOMETHING has been hurting every day! :eek: That's right-crack that whip and make DH help you! No reason you should have to do it all! Not like you are home all day w/no kids to take care of! You work hard too!!! :)

Hello Ladies ..

OH where should i begin???? FRI: my work party - awesome - and caused a VERY large head the next day .. there was tequilla involved ... and yes the clothes fell off (not in public tho) .. there was pole dancing .. but NOT ME (not DH either).. {{ whew }} LOLOLOL .. SAT: Dirty Santa - WOW - we had 31 women fighting over ornaments .. IT WAS WILD and FUN .. and those girls are serious .. NOT ONE bad ornament .. awesome party .. that went off w/o a hitch - the after birthday party was GREAT also .. got home late - and yes had large head SUN - SUN: did nothing but clean house and laundry - MON: woke up to NO WATER -our well pump went out -:mad: - had an early OUT OF TOWN meeting at main office .. and I had to go w/dirty hair .. UGH ... :eek::eek::eek::eek:... but DH got it to working by the time I got home - got a nice shower and then went on to HIS work party :eek: more food .. more CABS :eek: .,. I am GONNA DIE in class tonight {{{ screaming/crying fit on floor }}}}

now for the positive - I GOT MY P90X2 in today :eek::eek: :D:D:D:D:D yessssssssss!!!! I cant wait .. impressed w/the book - he explains the concept of "no cardio" .. pretty impressive .. cant wait to try it ..

Di - sooooo are you liking P90X2? is it more agility stuff??? .. that is what the book looks like and what I took from it .. hoping it is .. I LOVE the agility/balance training ..

Wendy - so we both had large heads SAT?? :p hope you had as good as time as I did .. .. well at least you got to work some of yours off .. I didnt .. didnt have time ..

Lori - sounds like you wont have long to wait for your baby ,.....

Allee - hope the family drama is ok ..

OK .. so like I said .. if I can make it thru my OWN TORTURE tonight .. I will be sweating out beer and tequilla :eek::eek::eek: yikes .. I am askeeered!!!! Tonight will be cardio circuit class :confused: wow I HOPE I SURVIVE!!!!!!

Hi ladies,

Another sleepless night...UGH.:mad: I've worked out the past 10 days straight and I have a headache this morning. My plan was to work out through next Monday but I;ve decided not to workout this morning.

Work is quite stressfull, trying to finish up a ton of documentation before my vacation starts next week. I do not deal with stress very well...I tend to eat...a lot. I'm planning for that today and packing baby carrots, cucumbers, peppers etc. Is that called preparing for a binge???

Wendy-Nice w/o girl...and adding jacks to boot... Who needs rest, I'm Wonder Wendy!!! My triceps are still sore...skull crushers with 45# bar will do that!

Laura-Glad you had a wonderful weekend! I'm not actually doing the P90X rotation since I'm still working on STS. I will finish Meso 2 this weekend. My surgery is planned perfectly for my rest week! I've only done Plyocide (liked it but thought it would be harder), ARX2 and ARX2 Core. This set did come with a lot of materials but I haven't read them yet. Did you get the deluxe set with the med balls and foam roller? One of the DVD's teaches you how to use the foam roller, looking forward to that one.

WHAT A FFFN WEDNESDAY ...

OMG .. my car blew up on me on the way to work .. .. I am lucky I made it in!! It filled up w/smoke on way here - then was making horrible noise .. :mad::mad::mad::mad: :(:(:(:(:( I can taste the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ this is gonna cost :(:(:(:(:(:( :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: after some much heated smart@$$ conversation w/DH .. I guess he is coming to town to help me get it to the repair shop :mad::mad: not sure if I will have a car or if I will teach class tonight .. I AM PI$$ED .. dang it .. right here at Christmas .. GREAT .. wonderful!!! :mad::mad: :(:(

I didnt have many in class last night anyway .. the holidays are always slack .. so I may cancel thru the New year ...(can you tell I am ILL as H##)

Di - If I do cancel class me and SIL are gonna start P90X2 ... I am thinking a mix of P90X2 and LiiT

So the junk food in the office is doing me in today! A chocolate/sprinkle covered pretzel of decent size, a chocolate covered oreo, a large chocolate cookie, a small sugar cookie and a non-pareil so far....:eek::eek::eek:

OK .. I get award for CRAPPIEST day .. so DH brings his car to town to leave it for me .. LONG story short .. I cut it off .. and it wont crank back up :eek: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: WTH???????????? he thinks it is the starter .. yup I KILLED not one ... but TWO FFFN CARS TODAY! :confused: :confused: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: .. i am once again stranded .. but he got DB to take him home and he is going to come BACK to town in his truck to pick me up this afternoon ... I dont know whether to cry :( .. laugh :confused: .. or throw hands in air and scream :eek: :mad: GMAFB ....... OK .... I SURRENDER!!!!!!!!!

I started my work out late this morning so in order to save 10 mins I chose to replace Tabata Inferno with HiiT: 40/20. Good stuff. I don't think it could be considered slacking despite the fact that it was shorter. :p

Gotta move...BBL!
 
Hi Ladies,

Only 3 discs left to finish up Meso 2! I didn't get home until 8:30 last night and was beat. I took a sleeping pill to help me sleep all night and feel a bit groggy this morning. A second cup of coffee should do the trick. CSB is on tap for this morning.

Laura-sorry about your car woes! I totally understand...all those things that are happening to you, usually happen to me. Just remember, it is not your fault that your vehicles aren't working. I always get blamed....what you do....hmmm, I drove the damn car.

Wendy-40/20 is definitely not slacking. Your experience with BR should be enough for you to know longer workouts aren't necessarily better. You should challenge your body with all types of w/o's....and you certainly are!

Lori-Congrats to our very own Certified PT!!! Now you can relax and enjoy the holidays while waiting for your new baby boy to arrive.

Diana:: So did that 2nd coffee help kick you into work out mode this morning? Almost done with meso 2! That's great! Jen (Irishrose) finally decided to give M2 a try and she is loving it! She is doing it the longer rotation way, doing each w/o twice. She should be done in a week or so. She's not doing a full rotation. Glad she was finally able to get some joy and use out of STS after having it for so long and dreading using it, you know? You are right re the longer work outs though this month with all of the evil junk food I am partaking in, I am going to be kicking a little extra effort into my work outs when I can to try and offset atleast a little bit of the damage! :eek: The short work outs will only work when the diet is right unfortunately! I orignally wanted to add cardio on to this morning's work out to offset the many cookies I ate y'day but ofcourse I got a late start...:rolleyes:
 
Ok I give! I missed BR (and Cathe's LI series!) waaay too much these past several days! I.CAN.NOT.DO.THIS.!!!! I NEED MY BR and I NEED MY LI SERIES and I need them...NOOOOOWWWW!!!!!:eek::D

This does not mean I will totally abandon S90 because don't get me wrong, I DO like it! I just need more variety! :confused:

So I'm not exactly sure what my plan is but I printed out Cathe's LIS NOV rotation as have written down the first 3 of BR's 12 Days of Christmas work outs and will be mixing and matching these with S90 some how over the next however long! :p;)

Posting tonight since I won't have time in the morning. Tonight was my last bootcamp class until it starts up again in Feb-aptly named the Spring Fitness Challenge. I'm hoping my foot will be ready for impact by then. Anyway, I'm down 5lbs and 2.5% bodyfat in the last 8 weeks. I know bootcamp attributed to some of that, but I'm guessing STS can take more of the credit. Anyway, I'm happy about it!

I did not do CST this morning so will be doing that Friday morning. DH and I will be finishing up our Christmas shopping and Holiday grocery shopping this weekend. DS also has his first driving lesson with the Instructor, not just mom & dad. He's been driving us around for months so I'm sure it'll be fine. I think I'm more nervous about it than he is.

Wendy-I say you have to do whatever works for you. After all you are the Queen of mix and match. I'm sure you will come up with a rotation that will work for you. Now I'm going to go check BR's 12 days of Christmas!

Well I am going to start off with the Cardio/Strength (BR style) work out that Laura posted on FB a few days ago. That's today's plan! :) Who knows where I will go from there! ;)

Diana:: WOO HOO! Awesome results in the last 8 weeks girl! That's fantastic! Keep it up! :) I think Lisa (the BR host for the 12 Days of Christmas) has a great personality. I really enjoyed listening to her talk. She made it entertaining for me. I was usually one to skip the yammering at the beginning of the videos...

ETA:: DONE! Did it 4x thru and changed up the exercises a bit on the 2nd two rounds (regular crunches to bicycles, regular squats to plie squats, regular push ups to tricep push ups). I took me about 22 1/2 minutes to complete IIRC. I wrote it down at home and forgot already! LOL :p Good work out but could be tougher! I'm going to alter it a bit the next time I do it because I definitely plan on doing it again!!! For starters, 7 reps for squats and 10 reps for crunches just isn't enough!!

Today will be busy with shopping and finishing up the Christmas decorating. At some point today I will be doing STS disc 23, Legs...just now sure when.

Hi Girls.

We put up our tree last night finally as well as the few measely house decorations we have. LOL

Today's work out which I finished not too long ago was BBC Full Body, 10 minutes of steady state jump rope and 10 reps x 5 sets of reverse pull ups on my dip station. :D

Gotta jump in the shower...heading to mom's soon. She volunteered to watch my son while I Christmas shop some and then we will have dinner with her when I get back.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday.

Hi Ladies,

Boy, my weekend is so busy. I got a lot of Christmas stuff done yesterday, but no workout. I bought myself some new jeans yesterday and a size smaller I might add!!:D There's still a lot to do today but I'm not starting anything until my w/o's are done.

In order to complete STS meso 2, disc 23 and 24 are on tap for today. Last night I previewed the Bring It Again Disc and PAP Lower from P90X2 last night. I'm looking forward to following this rotation as soon as I finish STS. Hopefully I can continue on with Meso 3 starting the week after Christmas.

How is everyone else spending their weekend?

Morning.

Ended up doing After Burn Single Intervals 1-10 premix and Cardio Super Sets Express + Step premix but I skipped the step portion. The Express part is all of the drills done one time thru the same way the AB premix I did is set up. Worked out well. Added up to under an hour work out and it was good tuff stuff!

Today I did Breathless Body Tabata drills 1-4 out of 8 (16 mins not including w/u time) + BR Grab Your Balls 1 out of 3 rounds (6 mins). More good stuff!;)
