I'm just gettin us started! :)

Ang: Oh yes! Ofcourse I pre-ordered STS...on the first day!!!!:D CC6 surely cancelled out any calories you consumed for your son's Birthday so no worries girl! ;)

Doin' a k-bell work out this morning!

I'm back.

I chose KBYW for this morning and did it almost entirely with my 20# kb. I only took a very short rest between rounds (maybe about 20 seconds) and was dripping with sweat! I should be feelin' it tmrw! :D

My prework out breakfast was a protein shake containing 1 cup ff milk, 1/2 scoop powder and 1/2 banana.
My post work out breakfast is 1/2 c oatmeal made with ff milk, the other 1/2 scoop pro pwdr and the other 1/2 of the banana.
Snack for work will be the usual: walnuts and some combo of grapes, craisins and/or apricots.

That's all for now but I'll be back this afternoon!:D
 
Morning girls

the phone rang at 9:15 and woke me up.:eek: I needed the extra sleep....I feel asleep on the couch last night which is something I never do! So, feelin' refreshed this morning.:)

I've got tons to do today. Finally a day at home to get caught up! Unfortunately I won't be spending much time on the puter b/c I'm so buried.:confused: I was tired yesterday so I pulled out Supersets. I haven't done that in a long time and it is short and sweet. I'm feeling it in my UB today. It will be a 4DS workout today. I'm still off the wagon with the eats.:( I did OK yesterday but it sure could've been better.

Wendy - I'm so excited to be able to enable you! Guess what?!?!? AOS Firepower is on sale today!:D:p There's also going to be another sale sometime this afternoon being posted....don't know what the second sale is going to be yet. I'm not getting Firepower b/c I don't have double KB's, but I'm going to get the Empire State workout along with Providence and Newport. That should be enough to keep me busy for a while eh?
Good job getting that workout in already. Gotta love that feeling of accomplishment so early in the morning. I'm still suckin' on my java.:rolleyes:
I've not seen Legend yet - with Will Smith right? I love SciFi, but I heard his dog died and that gets me every time....so I haven't watched it yet. Cam did get Night at the Museum for his birthday and since they had yet another snow day yesterday, he watched it and said it was a great movie. I can't wait to get the time to watch it.

Diana - Sounds like your arctic blast is now hitting us. Yesterday morning our temps went from 40 and rain to freezing and ice/snow within a couple of hours. Brrrrrrrrrr It's great that you have the option of working from home when the weather goes bad.
Your poor son would've stayed stranded until I was done working out. I don't answer the phone after I've started working out. *lol* But, I'm sure that will change once my kids get their drivers licence.;)
Are you getting sucked into the KB craze too??

Jacque - I wish my problem was forgetting to eat. My appetite won't let me forget about it. Although, I do notice that I do better with my eats when I'm busy. It's at night when I'm watching TV that I struggle the most.
So how'd you decide to decorate your tree this year.....or haven't you gotten that far yet?
Another road trip? Are you looking forward to it or not so much? Do you take your workouts with you on the road? It seems like that would be really hard to do.

Hi there ladies !

Just runnin' through before work in case I don't get here for a while . . .

Did 4DS BC & Bi's/Tri's. Wow that is one movin' BC workout ! Drippin' and feeling good. Now the drips are getting cold so gotta jump into the shower to warm up. :p

I did hop on the TM last night for 3 miles after I got home last night. Man oh man have I lost my running endurance ! Guess I need to do that more often!:rolleyes:

OK - off to get ready for work.

BBL to catch up a bit.
 
Morning ladies

Had a busy weekend - both parties were super fun - especially the girls party .. we had a blast!! Went shopping w/DH Sunday .. and in the middle of Kholes .. WHAM .. my kidney stone started movine. It was agony ... after I was able to get to where I could get in the car we started home .. LOOOONG drive. I was out of work yesterday - feeling lots better today .. just beat up a bit!! So no w/o's to report .. the eats was actually good ..

Today I am playing catch up .. my desk is horrible .. my house is a mess .. and I am feeling WAY behind on Christmas due to the shopping trip getting cut short!! So this week will be a scramble at lunch to the local shoppes and what I dont finish DH said he will battle going shopping again SAt if we must!!

Have not had a chance to read personals ... gotta jet ... will have to BBL to catch up if possible .. tonight I am going to try to teach my class .. had a sub last night ... it will be a whimpy class though!!! LOL

Hey Girls.

I had a bowl of grapes, raspeberries, blueberries and some lf cottage cheese for lunch along with a ff grilled cheese sandwich. Now it's time for COFFEE!:D

I got my new Kettlebell dvd in the mail today. Too bad I did my work out this morning already! :p I will have to preview it though!

I am considering going to Groove class tonight. DH is working late tonight anyway. This will be the final required class for the month if I go so hopefully I can get there!:)

Ang: I can't buy anything from AOS right now. I have to wait until AFTER Christmas because I won't know if I'm getting any of the dvds I asked for until then. My family still believes in keeping Christmas presents between adults a surprise whenever possible. :p

Laura: Sorry about the kidney stone attack in Kohls. Glad you had fun with the girls though. I have dirty dishes piled high in the sink from last night's dinner. I didn't do them immediately and then forgot about them. DOH! I was running too late this morning to do them so I have to go do them now....*UGH* :rolleyes:

Jacque: 4DS BC is great. I love the KB too. Not a fan of the step cause of the way too intricate choreo. Oh well. Still worth it's weight though! Excellent series! :) IKWYM about losing running endurance. I HAVE HAVE HAVE to run atleast once a week or my endurance PLUMMETS! When I did the full X rotation back in Jan 07 I didn't run for the first 2 weeks of it and about died when I got back to it!:eek: NEVER AGAIN have I let a week go by with out atleast one short run squeezed in!!!!

Jen: Where are you girl!?

So I "talked" to Sunny briefly and she is sorry she's been MIA but she's been busy. I told her we miss her. Hopefully she'll be able to pop in soon! :)
 
Just previewed the Lauren Brooks' DVD. Looks really good! Can't wait to try it! :)

I just completed week 3 of the GRFS summer rotation (tmrw is my rest day) that I am doing right now. I think when I am done, I am going to go back to an all (or mostly) kettlebell rotation for a while. I'll alternate 3 days of full body kettlebell work outs or 2 days of f/b bells with 1 day of f/b weights with 3 days of the cardio of my choice. It'll be an all out war on the extra pounds I've put on as well as some bodyfat!!!!! I am woman, hear me roar! LOLOL

Back for a bit while I am eating my lunch: leftover 'stuffing' from my bell peppers, wrapped in a low carb tortilla with shredded lettuce and salsa. YUM on a cold day.

This AM my tummy was 'talking' to me so I had my cran juice w/flax, protein shake AND a piece of grain toast w, yep, PB !:rolleyes: Perfect and held me until lunch - well I really didn't eat as soon as I should have, but close enough.

Wendy - nice KB workout ! DH asked what I wanted for Xmas last night - said just a could of KB workouts and then $ we are putting into the house and I'm good. He said Great ! So now I guess I better get over to AOS and print off the sales ! I only have a 'wimpy' 15lber but guess it will work to start with?

Thanks for the Sunny update. I always worry something has happened so it's nice to know it is just "too busy dom".

Angie - Hope you got lots done on your day at home. I wish I could take one, maybe next week? Yes, I'll be joining you with a couple AOS DVD's I guess . . .:eek: Good progress on the eating if you are saying it wasn't real bad ! Progress is progress. Especially at this time of the year !:p

So we got the tree Fri nite - and DH was soooooo busy looking online for Hot Wheels ALL FRIGGIN' WEEKEND, that it is still sitting in the backyard ! I politely inquired last night if he thought it may make it in the house before Xmas? He said he'll bring it in tonight. I'll just be doing a quickie job as I will be busy with other stuff too. Just want to get it in and presentable - it can open my blinds and it can be seen from the front of the house. And since I didn't decorate outside this year . . . Usually do house lights, a very large Xmas tree (1 1/2 dozen green light strands with plastic ornaments) that hangs from the chimney down to the ground with candy canes around the base and my favorite "blowup" snowman family . . . figure a real tree in the house is all the neighbors get from me this year.

And for my last set of road trips, they weren't overnighters but this will be one night away. Need to find out where we are staying and see of they have TM's or something. And just in case, I'll take my Biggest Loser cardio DVD that I haven't even used yet. It is bootcamp style and figure I could do it twice for an hour workout.

Laura - Doggone girl - will ya' just kick the "stone" out and get it over with? You Poor Poor thing. :confused: Wish you didn't have to go through this sooo much. < < < Hugs > > >. Hope you catch up and also enjoy a nice easy workout in class tonight. Take care.

Okay Girls, I bought flax seeds at the foodstore....now what do I do with them!?!? :confused::eek::p

Jacque: Oooh can't wait to see which kb work outs you get! 15 is fine to start. Work your way up as you see fit. :)

Dinner: Large salad topped with chicken cooked in pan in a little olive oil, pria bar.
 
Heya Wendy - LOL at buying flaxseeds but wondering what to do with them.

They can be used in many ways, but usually after they are ground up pretty well similar to a wheat germ texture. Buying them whole preserves more nutrients, but I'm lazy and just guy them already ground - but keep them in the fridge. They are high in Omega's so can go bad - best if they are kept cold.

Myself, I just add a TB to my cranberry juice and stir. It doesn't bother me to drink them that way, but many don't like the texture. They will mix well in with your protein shakes, oatmeal, some sprinkle them on salads. Kind of a nutty texture and taste. Also a word of warning since they are pretty high in fiber, 2 TBs was too much for me and reduced my "elimination factor" if you get my drift. . . :rolleyes: I cut back to 1 TB per day, though you may be able to spread it out throughout the day and handle more - totally a personal thing though.

Will let you know about the KB workouts - got to work on my presentation and view a webonaire.
