Good Morning Peeps!:D

I am getting another reprieve from the super early work out today. DS is off from school and I don't go into work until 9 so that means we don't have to leave the house as early as we normally do so I was able to sleep in a bit. I'll start my work out at about 6:45 I think. The work out will only be about 45 minutes long so that helps as well. It's kb day today! :)

I'll be back with personals after my work out if I have time, otherwise it'll be after work!

ETA: My "first breakfast" is a slice of toasted ww bread with a thin slather of natural pb on it.

My work out is done.

I chose crazy Keith and his Extreme Kettlebell Cardio Work Out this morning. I did the leg burner, upper body blast, swing work out, and core/cooldown. It was round about 40 mins in total so it was perfect.
Initially I wasn't planning on doing the swing work out but I felt like I needed a little more before heading down to the floor for abs and the swing work out did the trick! :eek: I did the entire work out with my 20# kb with the exception of the core work out and snatches with my left arm. My left side is the stronger side overall but for some reason I just couldn't do a snatch with the 20# bell so I dropped to 15 for that. I did core with 15 cause I didn't think I could do it with 20. I actually probably could have with the exception of the partial get ups. It was one hell of a work out regardless!:D

I am drinking my P90X recovery drink right now and then will shower. Once I'm dressed I'll root around for my "second breakfast". LOL

Another snow day for the kids.:confused::rolleyes: We'll head down to decorate after they finish breakfast. I made crockpot oatmeal last night so I had a hot bowl of it this morning for breakfast. Mmmmmmm

I posted personals last night so please go check em out. I think I'm all caught up with you all...

Wendy - GJ in getting that w.o in early. I got the 20 pounder a couple of days ago, now I just need a workout DVD. I wish there were some good deals on ebay, but they seem to get snatched up quickly. I hear Newport is a OF fav....I'll have to check into it. It's just so hard to bring myself to spend the money when STS should be in my hands very soon....I hope!

Off to get changed and start getting in the Christmas spirit. Have a fabo Friday girls!

Got my 4DS Legs done this AM and have a bit more to finish later today.

Wendy - nice workout this AM - still need to attempt more KB workouts but I really don't like the DVD's I have. Maybe put a couple on my Xmas list.

Angie - haven't gotten back to see your post from last night and missed a hi to you to ! :( Oh yes, oatmeal. I have been trying to keep the carbs at bay but am thinking my old days of oatmeal in the am may be a good thing to go back to. Thanks for that reminder !

OK - had to pop back in to mention that I am now officially COLDER THAN ALL H#!! just like the rest of you.

I knew last night that it was going to be bad cuz I was freezing in the house at 8 P.M.

So I just left the house to come to work and saw the frost outside. It is 37' here at 8 A.M. in CA. Doggone - I just realized I haven't turned the heater on in my office ! :mad:

Angie - yes you have been busy - and internet probs to boot ! And another reminder that somewhere I will need to get a tree. Too much going on in my pea brain these days.

LOL about the wine and chocolate for Wendy, but I have heard of it before - just never tried it.

And the Sharks are still on top in the NHL - have set the record for most wins from the beginning of the season in NHL history. Still so unreal for me as a fan since we have seen such ebbs and tides from them for years. They pulled another one out last night. Thinking that all the other teams have nothing to lose by playing their best now so we will see if they can hold their own from here on out.

OK - time to work for a bit ! :p
 
Hi Girls!

Well I had oatmeal with 1/2 scoop protein powder for my 2nd breakfast, dried cranberries, apricots and some walnuts for a snack, and a turkey sandwich on ww bread for lunch. I also had a pria bar for dessert! ;)

Goin' out when DH gets home from work to pick me up some more wine, baby!!!! :D

Gotta get DS off to his nap but will come back for personals afterwards and will probably head for a nap myself after that! LOL

Ang: So how did the decorating go? You HAVE to get a dvd and use that bell NOW! KB's are sooo awesome!!!

Hello girls!!!

MAN another crazy busy day! Today is BET PAYOFF day .. yes I bet my Tigers would win against our rivals .. and alas they didn't .. so today was the day I had to pay off .. had to wear our rivals tream garb picked out by a guy (actually has pretty good taste) ..but I wore my TIGER shirt underneath the outfit .. posted a picture in my picture trail .. check it out (it is in the Auburn/Hurricane pics)!!

Tommorrow our rivals AL play Florida for the SEC championship .. GO GATORS .. they gotta beat AL ... (I will be leaving today dressed in FL colors ;))

Todays eat very good .. had protien shake for breakfast - grapes for a snack - lunch was crock pot pork and green beans - and snake more grapes .. tonight having steak and potatoes though!! (and CABS) .. DATE NIGHT w/hubby .. so that will be the only exercise I will get ;) :D.. had to work thru lunch again .. and will be ready to get home after work .. I will make up for it tommorrow!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend .. will do my best to check in this weekend .. going to be decorating watching the game then hoping to go get my Christmas tree!!

Jacque .. THAT IS cold for CA! WOW .. it wont stay though .. :) ..congrats on the Sharks .. this has been our WORST season in 10 years ... and they just fired our coach .. I HATE that b/c he is an excellent coach .. he just had ONE bad year ..GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR think they made a HUGE mistake!!

Ang .. I am tackling decorating this weekend .. I DREAD it .. another snow day for the kids?? Wow . bet they are happy ..

Hi Girls.

Laura: Good job on the eats! Enjoy date night with DH!;)

Doing well in the eating arena today. Had 2 wafercrisp crackers with a little allfruit on them as a snack this afternoon. When DH got home at 4:00 I decided to head out foodshopping but I was hungry so on the way I ate a Nutrigrain bar (I buy them for DS). They aren't the best but also not the worst so no biggie in my book. Just finished dinner: bowl of lower sodium italain wedding soup from a can, ff grilled cheese sandwich on light ww bread and a small bowl of raspberries and red seedless grapes. YUM! Oh and I also had one small cookie...it's a new kind I bought and I had to make sure they were good before giving them to DS for dessert tonight! ;) LOL

I had DH stop on his way home from work to get me some wine! He got me Barefoot Merlot this time. I can't wait to pop it open that bottle in a little while. :D

Tomorrow is supposed to be my rest day but I'd rather take it Sunday so tmrw I will take the Centergy class at the gym and will likely use the tm or ext for 30 mins prior to the class. :)
