Good morning fitness ladies,

Didn't check in yesterday as I was having some problems using the site. I deleted my cookies and now it is fine.

Tuesday: GymStyle biceps, PUB biceps, abs, 500 walking lunges with 15 lb dumbells and Pilates lower body work and lower body stretch.

Today for me is PS: C/S/T and AllStep w/u, cardio and stretch.

My hip is still a little sore so I'm not sure how part 2 of my workout will go.

Good Morning Everyone,

I really am having a battle w/ insomnia! Last night I slept only about 3 hours. This morning I feel tired and blah, but on the rotation is leaner legs and I think I can handle that. (THANK god it's not Bodymax or Imax3!!)
Of course of all days, today is a rather busy one, so I think it's safe to say I won't get a nap in. :(
Maybe I can sneak in a walk somewhere and that will reengergize me........?? I HOPE!!?!!
The weekends ALMOST here!!

Good Morning.

Tammy: When I was working out of the home before Joey was born, my job was a 45 minute commute in the summer and a MINIMUM of pretty much an hour and 15 minutes in the winter. Yet I can get there in LESS than 45 minutes on a weekend or if I'm not going during rush hour during the week! It was HORRIBLE so I know how ya feel! :-(

Today will be full body weights...I'm thinkin' ME, then a little cardio and some abs.

I have upped my weights in biceps and so far I can do it in every weight work out I have tried...This will probably NOT be the case with ME though...I'll have to keep another set of lighter weights close by! }(

I went off the rotation schedule a bit this week because I got lazy and took a 2nd rest day x( so I'm trying to get in what I feel is the most important this week!

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday I conquered the weights! Broke thru a plateau. Did Tri's/Bi's, Chest/Back, Legs and Shoulders (shoulder only) and 500 crunches while watching Mister Mom (they were baking cookies and banana bread). I got up and ate a piece of baker's chocolate (no sugar..plain chocolate baking bar) It was good! Who needs the sugar, I don't!

Today is my rest day and I need it, let me tell you!

Hello Check-In Friends :)

Cathy- 500 walking lunges and pilates Lower body? Please let us know hoe it goes. I am sore after doing 600 walking lunges with ZERO weights!

Wendy-It is good progress that you are increasing your weights. Don't fret about a 2nd rest day. It took me 2 days to complete BM with real life in between.

Tammy- I hope your injury heals quickly :) And Happy new school year!

Becky- Insomnia is annoying. Be careful with that barbell and sleep deprivation...

Today I'm doing what ever is on the Sept. rotation, But modified for impact but not intensity. Cardio will be done on my bike.

Hello, Ladies!

Great workouts going on!

I am so sore from Toasty's Rotation! I went to stretch this morning, and I couldn't even get my arms over my head!! :eek:

This morning I did Imax 2 blasts only. This afternoon I will go for a brisk uphill walk on my treadmill while reading Criminal Cases for my Criminal Constitution class. Gotta keep moving so I don't fall asleep!

For those of you remember Shirley "wannabestrong"...she wanted me to say hello to everyone for her. I came across her username while I was looking for another one so I PM'd her b/c she hasn't been around in a long time. She said she's been very busy but hopes to pop in here one day soon.
 
Good morning everybody! :)

I did PUB this morning and it felt really good, but I made a scary discovery. When I do biceps curl and the weight is a little heavier I start pulling up my right shoulder x( . No wonder my shoulder is giving me problems. x( x( I tried to correct my form, but I can't it just automatic and I can't stop it.
I guess I have to do one arm at a time and hold my shoulder down? Any other suggestions on that?

It felt really good though to do an intense weight workout, I haven't done that in over 2 weeks (stupid wisdom teeth x( )

Hi all! Did BC yesterday, with a toddler underfoot. Aiden kept getting right up in my face while I was doing crunches and making me bust out laughing! Crazy boy...

Today will be rest. I have to get ready to go to MI tomorrow for my DH's grandfather's funeral. Probably won't be back after today to checkin until next week.

Good morning,

Kristine - maybe you should try lowering the poundage until you can control your shoulder, then gradually increase it back up. This will at least help you avoid an injury. JMTC..:)

Today was CTX intervals, but I don't have it so I came up with a great mishmosh:

SB: Warmup, Add on combo 2,3, Blast Challenge.
CW: Timesaver Upper Body Heavy Weights and stretch.
Coremax 1.

This timed out around 80 minutes, tops.

Morning Everyone,

Today is BodyMax for me. I did the Turbo Jam 20 min. workout last night as a warm up to Kickmax Bootcamp Challenge Premix. That worked out really well, because that premix goes right from the warm up into the hi intensity blasts. The only thing I don't care for in the Turbo Jam work out is the speed that she moves at. Your form suffers when doing it that fast. Otherwise I enjoyed the work out.

Great workouts!

I was so surprised to wake up hearing RAIN last night..we sure need it...:)

I am doing Freestyle legwork, a 5 mile run and PUB chest & back.

I think I'd be too chicken to do walking lunges with 15 lb dumbbells...but then again we are all different....:)

Hello, everyone -

Yesterday I missed my workout because I had to go to the store. Yuck.

Today is Legs and Glutes... but I'm feeling more like cardio, so we will see.

I finished a six-week rotation last weekend that was pretty intense for me, so this week I'm doing whatever I want - still keeping up the intensity, but not worrying as much about the schedule.

I desperately need to concentrate on making time for walking lunges.

Morning everyone!!

Last night was LM for me. That one always sneaks up on me and kicks my butt. I start off thinking "this is pretty easy" and then I hit that third cycle with the dynamic outer thighs and WHAM! The rest of the way is major sweating:)

Today is MM. I might add in some extra core work if I'm feeling energetic.

Carole - it's raining here too and I'm happy as it was awfully humid yesterday and I hate that. The rain is supposed to clear by this afternoon and leave us with clear, cool weather.

Yesterday I did back and legs P90X, ab ripper P90X and 1 hour in my stationary bike. Today I will do Kenpo P90X and TAEBO. I always have a great time with Billy Blanks. I still waiting the new Cathe's dvd I ordered and the BB emal of shippment of my order.

Good morning ladies,

I know I'm checking in late today. Yesterday was a cardio day for me. I planned on doing the 4 mile Leslie Sansone w/o but wasn't able to finish it--only got about 2 miles through. I have people working on my house and I lacked privacy and had constant interruptions, so I got up very early this morning and did the 4 miles before the painters arrived.

This evening after the painters leave I'm doing lower body strength. I'll have to see how much I can get through. My hip is feeling better but some standing leg work still causes pain. I might try strapping on ankle weights and doing leg work lying down. DH and I will walk after dinner.

Hello---

Today I woke up when my alarm went off and thought "I'm too worn out to work out today". Then I thought, it's the last workout before a scheduled rest day on the rotation, so just do it and sleep more tomorrow. Well I should have listened to my first thought. I did IMAX 1 and had to mofify, felt crappy the whole time, and feel worse now. I'm so worn out, I can't even focus at work, and I really need to.

I'm not sure what's going on with me. I've had problems with overwhelming fatigue lately. I may need to cut it down to 5 days a week for a while, which will kill me mentally, but should help me recover from whatever is causing this!
