Daily CheckIn: Monday, August 22

My workout is done now. I have done shoulders and arms P90X, ab ripper P90X and the blast challenge of Kick Max. Happy Monday.

Gosh, I just realized that I haven't checked in yet today! Oops. This morning I did my CardioHits dvd combo:
Step Fit w/u; combo 1;
Step Works combo 2;
Power Max combo 3; cool down & stretch.

Kristine - good luck on having those teeth pulled! And I'm glad to hear DH's party went so well!

Wendy - that's a terrific idea with Body Max! What upper body work would you do? If you can program your dvd player, you could program the upper body segments at the end to alternate with the circuit cardio. IIRC, that's a finely chaptered workout, so this should be doable. Interesting........(off to take notes of my own).

Great workouts everyone. So many people frequently do the Gym Style workouts, and mine are still sitting on my shelf unused. I'm thinking that when I get back into serious workouts in two or three months' time, I'll be thrilled to get into these. They must be good!

Afternoon ladies. Late check in here. Today was BC. I went up in all my weights this morning so I'm hoping to feel it tomorrow. I took my measurements last night and I am happy to say that I went down several inches in my hips and thighs in comparison with last month! So, I would have to say that the January 2005 rotation worked great for me. On to the January 2004 rotation starting today!

The programable dvd player we have is in the living room and my living room does not have enough open floor space to exercise in. We bought a cheapie dvd player for the room I exercise in just so that I could buy my w/o's on dvds. I will probably note all of the UB work that is at the end of BM and plug it in appropriately.

I notice you did combo 2 of step works today...well! Can I tell you that I just tried SW for the first time today and let me tell you!!! I gave up on combo # 2 after a while! I got the beginning of the combo ok but at some point she just plain ol' lost me! :p Some of her older step work outs really frazzle and frustrate me! x( I think her choreography was more difficult back then...the more recent choreography I can p/u on much faster!

Almost 9 p.m. checkin but the workout is done.

I was off today so did GS biceps this morning with w/u and stretch. Did abs from HSC.

This is interval day for me, so I did IMAX2. I love the music on that workup. I wasn't 100% into it in the warmup, just felt "do I really want to do this?" but I pushed on and by interval 3 I was jumping to the ceiling. (not literally but felt like it, LOL). That workout is pure motivation.

Shower, then bed, back to work tomorrow.
