Good Saturday Morning Friends,

I've had a busy week - kids sick, my mom sick, me sick and DH busy with small business tax season again. Too much going on.

Today I managed STS Meso 3 - Squat Rack legs disc 1 + Hoco Body Blast - about 20 minutes. I am working today so had to cut things short. Would have loved a longer workout.

Another busy Saturday. I gotta get off this busy train. I am guessing it happens when the kids leave home. I am booking nothing else for the summer - except life of course - wait -that's what's got me so busy. I am committed to also squeezing in a friend's art show this weekend plus a farewell lunch to my parish priest - too much.

Today I did All out low impact hiit! Love, love , love it! As you know I have to stop working the upper body for now, so my ws are cardio, step, kickbox, legs, metabolic and circuit. A good choice but I have to always modify something!
 
Hi ladies,

I had actually planned to w/o but it's been a while since I had a rest and I've been busy with other stuff today, including lunch with friends which is very rare for me. So all the exercise I have gotten today was a couple of short bike rides and some walking and now I just felt skin rip between my foot and toe... Ouch! Hopefully a rest today will do me good and have can have an extra good w/o tomorrow.

I am also like this every June & July, Ceci. Just in June there's Two grads, four birthdays & then all the current add-ons like DH being off work. It gets overwhelming. You meditate don't you? It is probably time for some of your meditation time. Are you feeling any better from your flu??
Sandy, let us know how your weighted vest works out. Another thing on my wish list. ;)

Still have DOMS from Thursday's workout, lol, & didn't have much time for a workout today so just did one of those SweatLab Fit in 5 w-o's from youtube - focus outer thighs + as many landmine push-up flys I could do on each side.
 
Hi ladies.

My plans for an extra good and long w/o today went down the drain. I ended up being away all day visiting a 91 year old family friend for lunch near where I grew up (about 150km from here) and then picking up my son from my ex in-laws. He'd spent the weekend at his grandparents together with a friend.

It was a lovely afternoon with my "surrogate" grandma but also a long drive. I spent just over 4 hours driving today and came home with a splitting headache. It's been there all week, but some days a lot worse than others.

Anyways.. I decided a li'l exercise is better than none, so I went for a walk and did another new to me KCM dvd: Trim down. I decided to do the boxing premix, so 31 min boxing drills. That way I can hopefully hit the weights hard tomorrow. Not a bad w/o if you want boxing without a million jumping jacks (Cathe style). First one I have done where she doesn't have a crew. I thought that would be strange, but I didn't actually notice. It's not like there's normally a ton of interaction between Kelly and her crew.

Good workouts indeed. And yes, life can be so busy for us all. Today I managed STS Meso 3- chest/back - loved it. I added on more Michael Olajide abs.

Great workouts again! I do not have any of the ones KCM does without her crew, Henriette. They all look like fun though! Sorry you are having a PMS migraine. I hate those!!!!
So glad to see that you are feeling better now Ceci. :) Good work on STS!!

It is sooo hot today. 34 degrees! This morning I attended a yoga class - Restorative for Spine issues. It was really good. This evening I am doing fitnessGlo 'Step & Burn' 20 minute cardio+legs that is labelled advanced, but felt more intermediate & ICE To The Mat Bands only premix (19 min).
