Today is Low Impact Step's lower body cardio blast premix for me today, plus abs.

Yesterday was ME and Stretch Max!

Today will be busy: 500 crunches w/o weights, Tri's/Bi's, Chest and Back and Legs and Shoulders (shoulder work only)

Morning Wendy and Charlotte! Boy we get around don't we? LOL!

I am doing an hour walk/run this morning, and PLB w/ light weights for the Sept. rotation since I don't have Leaner Legs.

Wendy how do yo like the pre mixes on the new workouts?

yesterday I finished up wtih tris & bi of BM from the day before and did core max. Then I golfed ( one last time before my schedule gets too hectic) and had to get on with my "day". so, no LL. It is just as well, because I was still sore from 600 walking lunges from 2 days ago. Today will be LL and I will be on track with Sept. rotation instead of one day ahead. No big deal.

* I am trying to keep going with the free style concept, so I will keep the weights light on LL.

Did LG floorwork twice yesterday and yes I felt the burn! Today is GS shoulders and PS shoulders with abhits.


Wendy- Is Low impact step a good workout? I guess so you're doing it huh!

Charlotte- You've got some tough workouts girl! You go!!

Kali-so how is the running coming along?

Judy-I did the circuit premix and liked it alot except next time I will have to put weights in place of the stability ball during the toning sections to make it more of a challenge. This is the first time I will be doing the lower body cardio blast premix. I will report on it after I am done but I'll bet it's similar to Low Max. :)

Kim-I like LIS. Gives my tired knees a rest. :) Yet if you want to you can certainly bump up the intensity by "lifting" the moves and/or adding more risers.

Good morning fitness folks... how's everybody today?

Yesterday was BodyMax. That one really leaves you feeling accomplished!!

Today is LL on the rotation but I don't have it, so I'm subing GS Legs. That one is a real burner. I've done it one time before and I think it is going to replace PLB as my new favorite lower body w/o.

I don't usually follow set rotations, this one is my first. Having Kali, Judy and some others doing it with me and checking with each other every day on how's its going is really fun.

Kali.. we may have to keep this up next month:)

I did LIS this morning for the first time, I just received the new DVDs in the mail yesterday and I liked that workout. I am sure still not back to myself and I am happy that at least I got a workout in, woohoo!!!! :7

Good Morning Fitness SUPERWOMEN!!!!:D

WOW! This morning was Bodymax for me and I tell ya, I STRUGGLED through it ! I know it's a tough workout but I started feeling nauseous and had to slow down, do some modifications and even skipped 1/2 of the power circuits. Just did NOT have it in me today!
I slept great last night and ate well yesterday so I'm not sure what's going on, but I guess that just happens sometimes. :(
Maybe I should do it on a lower step next time. Does everyone do it on an 8" step?
Okay well, I'm GLAD it's done! I do like the workout , it just BEAT me to death today for some reason!!!!:eek: ;(
(could I need more water? I drank a chia tea 1/2 hour before and a bottle of water during)

Good morning everybody,

I'm walking today. My goal is the Leslie Sansone 4 mile w/o. DH and I walked a mile together last night after dinner. I know that's not much but there were some hills. I'm still a little sore from the 20 mile bike ride Monday.

Kali...I have really enjoyed PLB the Freestyle way. A good sub for LL.

Judy...wow..600 walking lunges....!! LL is fun with lighter weights..

Carla...all the upper of S&H!!! WOW!!! Wonder if you will have any DOMS tomorrow...:)

Judy...I am not real good at following any rotation, most likely because of my running. P90X was the only one I followed well. But having others here doing one will help you alot...:)

Becky...I do Bodymax on a 6 inch step, in fact I use 6 on most of Cathe's step workouts with the exception of Lowmax..then I use 8..

Michelle...walking is great after dinner...even a mile with hills!!

Mariángeles...2 taebos plus P90X...great workout.

I did manage a 3 mile run yesterday. My legs felt good but my ankle wads still a bit sore. My nephew adjusted it yeasterday and it feels better today! I am doing a mish mosh circuit of Imax2 and PUB (shoulders, tris and bi's)and PP legs...

Becky - don't worry about suffering through Body Max. The cardio is faster paced and the workout itself is super loooooong. You may need to experiment and eat a little something before this workout. Or split it up and do the circuits or the upper body work later in the day. It's definitely a killer workout in it's entirety!!

Last night I finished up PUB with the ab work and did Low Max intervals 4-7. Holy cow, I was wiped. This morning I did Leaner Legs for the first time and I completely understand the "Meaner Legs" label. It was difficult climbing the stairs to the 6th floor this morning! YOW!

I'll take your advice and try it on a 6" step and have a snack before hand. and if that's not enough, I can split it up. I have done it from start to finish once before, but today I just felt "off". I felt something was different with the cardio, but hadn't realized it was a faster pace! I just know it turned me inside out today!!!:eek:
Now that kids are back to school, my daughter is already sick with a cold. Maybe my body is trying to fight off catching it from her!! I think I'll start taking some extra "C" just in case.

Wow, you guys are amazing! Monday was a lazy day for me, and DH wanted to spend some time, so I didn't end up working out. Yesterday was kickmax Bootcamp Premix (I love that one!). This morning was Bootcamp lower premix, Bootcamp upper premix, and repeat. Tonight will be bootcamp abs twice, and Imax 1 warm up, blasts only, and cool down. Have a great day everyone!
 
Hello everyone:

Becky--I can't even imagine attempting Body Max with no food (and I work out every day during the week before eating--only have time on the weekend to do Body Max)! Just like Carole, I do everything on a 6 inch step. I did Low Max on 8 inches once and my knees hurt for days. There was one last week that I was thinking I should go up on, but of course now I can't remember what it was...

Today, on the rotation, instead of a 40 minute run I did hi/lo. I did MIC through the hi/lo section then added the hi/lo section of CTX 10-10-10 as an add on. I think I did enough plyo-digs and airborne jumps to last me a while. Both of these had both of those moves! I do like to run, and can do 40 minutes with no problem, but I only like to run outside and can't really do that when its dark out in the morning. We have a treadmill, but the boredom kills me. So I thought the hi/lo would be equivalent. Still need to do Core Max #2 tonight.

Hi all, I did CIA Kick Box Boot Camp today. It was supposed to be a legs, shoulder and ab day but believe you me that workout covers it all. It has lots of lunges and squats and balance exercises for legs and some shoulder work using a body bar (I use a wooden dowel but I wear weighted gloves) and the core work is great and different so I think I covered without actually doing "weights".:D

My shin splints are feeling better but my hip still hurts. My poor dh and I think that all our sitting furniture do nothing for our backs so that may be part of the problem. Unfortunately we can't afford to buy new furniture at the moment.;( :+
