Daily Check-In Wednesday July 6th

Good morning,

I did Christi Taylor's Totally Cool Step this morning. Her workouts don't have the intensity of Cathe's cardios, but they are extremely fun.

Katie - great work on those 5 pounds last week! Wow!

Terri - I don't think anyone who does LM and PH in one day can even remotely be called "lazy" LOL!

Carole - I thought I was a fit mother-to-be, until I stepped into those change rooms yesterday ;( Yikes! Ah well, it's only temporary (I keep telling myself). How did your legs feel after the interval run and GS legs? Wowsie!

Jes - You did hi/lo yesterday??? Has the world turned upside down? Good work!

Laurie - You're facing one of my biggest future worries: how to deal with having kids who can stay out later than I can stay awake. I feel for you. How was the memorial yesterday? As a fitness instructor, do you feel additional pressure to keep your waistline slim and trim?

Jane - I hope you got a good night's sleep before trying RS. Your brain needs to be sharp to pick up all that choreography! Have fun!

Becky - so great that you had such a fun workout today! I also find KPC to be her most fun kickbox workout.

Morning all! This morning I did IMAX 2 (my favorite!) and found myself smiling through it. I don't usually smile through any Cathe workouts because I'm too busy trying to catch my breath, but this morning I was having the time of my life. I was even smiling after interval 9! My recovery time is really starting to improve. I'm ready to go do it again!}(

My work out is done...well, almost. I kinda wanted to do BC today but some of the wonderful ladies here suggested I wait until tomorrow since I just did PH yesterday so I pulled out IMAX 2! I had never done it before except for once I tried doing the step segments only. Well, I did the first premix...HOLY COW! :eek: It could take me a while to be able to make it through the entire work out!!! I want to do abs today but Joey is very cranky...I barely got through this premix and it's only like 30 minutes long! Going to have to wait until later to do ab work.
 
Hi all, well continuing with the freestyle leg thing I did PLB calves, and floorwork, then did L&G's standing leg extensions and the explosive plies (minus the explosion,LOL) with the cross over lunges, then I did PUB shoulders.:eek:

For cardio I did KPC 37 min. premix. I was a glutton today for punishment I hadn't done that workout in a while due to space constraints. But I made it through I always do,:D .

Cardio Kicks + Abs is on the rotation for today, but since I don't have that w/o I'm subbing KPC (the FitTV version). I'm excited about it!! I enjoy kickboxing, but I have trouble keeping my form and just generally keeping up when the tempo picks up. KPC seems to be a good fit for me since there aren't alot of high tempo parts. This one is second from the top of my Cathe Wish List.

Yesterday I did L&G, but skipped my cardio w/o. My period starting just wiped me out this month. That usually doesn't happen to me. Oh well, I'm proud for doing ANY wo/ much less the tough L&G! ;)

Good afternoon:

Today I did a real fryer--I've been starving all day, so it tells me I burned quite a few cals.

IMAX 1 warm-up (16 min warm up!)
CTX Power Circuit step and kickbox circuits
BC cardio and lower body premix
CTX shoulders

Tonight I'll do a core max--I ran out of time this morning!

Next week I have to travel right before I leave for the road trip, so I'll have Thurs and Friday off from working out. I decided that was OK since we'll be doing 4 workouts in 24 hours!
 
Rhythmic Step will just have to wait until another day. I had to mow the grass. DD couldn't "find the energy" before she went to work to ride around on the lawnmower, so I did it. (DD isn't so darling right now). Anyway, I got a good workout because I pushed the entire acre plus.... it took me 2 hours and 5 minutes.

I wore my HRM monitor .... AvgHR 130 MaxHR 148 Calories burned 842. Not bad.

I just came in to wring out my clothes. To the barn, then I've got to get something to eat. I burned everything up!!:9

ETA - Sandra, I meant to tell you that yes, those pushups on the TS were brutal. I didn't get through them all. I had to go down on my knees very early on those six-count pushups!!
