Hi gals,

Today I taught my chair kickbox circuit workout to 6 ladies for an hour. We included the barbell in with the weight lifting along with dumbbells.

Then I did some abs and was done.

My nerve pain was pretty bad this morning after PT yesterday and the Lyrica took some time to kick in .

Have a great day and workout!![emoji963][emoji41]

Hi ladies. Annette are you going to stop PT? I understand it can be a bugger to deal with. Missy, good for you. My poor treadmill is lonely. Sometimes I like to zone out with my music and just walk, skip or run for a while. Today I did Cathes Bootcamp from 2003? It still offers a great workout. Have a great night everyone and hello to all who follow.

Yes, Peg, after tomorrow's progress report, where she will do all the measurements and range of motion exercises that she did at the beginning again to see how much progress I have made in 4 weeks. Then we will discuss if I want to continue. And I don't. My strength is returning and the rest will just take time. I want my life back. Bad enough that I have to see a neurosurgeon which every one is saying is a waste of my time.

On a good note, my youngest son has an interview with a neighboring school district for a Production Specialist, please pray that the interview goes well and if the job is meant for him that he will feel good about it. Thanks

Good day to you & great workouts!! I wonder what Linda has been up to?
So sorry about your nerve pain ((Annette)). Nice to hear about your son's interview ....often the hardest part is getting an interview. Best of luck!! Great run there Missy Hiett! Peg, Cathe's older workouts can be brutal!! I don't have that one.
Today was very busy & draining. At the vet yesterday and today with our cat. Waiting to hear her lab reports now .....her anemia is getting so bad and she can barely walk right now. The vet thinks she is blind in one eye. Have been making chicken hearts and millet stews and frying up some organic ground pork for her hoping she wants it. I am also frustrated as she was pretty good when we went to the vet, but seems to have turned worse since coming home.
I might get in a hilly walk this evening. We will see!

Take care ladies.

Hi ladies!

Annette - good luck to your son and with your PT.

Elsie - speedy recovery wishes for your cat.

Wednesday I didn't do a workout as such, but I reached my steps and daily burn goals with a long walk to the village and running various errands. It was in fact so busy an afternoon off that working at the office is less tiring!

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did my own workout blender of PUB (chest/shoulders) + ICE kickbox blizzard blast.

Elsie - sorry to read about your cat. you are amazing making such food for your little pal
henriette - 23 degrees is warm for your town? i am just amazed at how you bike everywhere. that would be interesting to see. we have people who bike but toronto is definitely a car town! I could bike to work (7 km down one road) or subway it (I live right next to the subway) but.... I drive :(

Siobhan - 23 degrees is not really warm, but it is decent weather for a Dutch summer. Any time it doesn't rain and you don't need a sweater or coat during the summer months it is a blessing.

Biking is very normal here in the country. We have bike paths everywhere, sometimes just painted on the roads, but more and more often separate from the roads, like this:

Biking is less and less comfy for me at this point in my pregnancy so I am sticking to short (max 4 KM each way) trips from now on. For short distances it is usually just as quick as other means of transport or even quicker. There are so many people in this country and so many cars, that rush hour by car is just no fun.

Last week my son started biking to and from his bball trainings together with a team mate. I think it makes him feel really independent not having to rely on me to drive him. With trainings 4 days a week, it really saves me a lot of time not having to drive him and pick him up again. He thinks it's fun to bike with his friend and it is only 4 KM so, biking is practically as fast as driving. I hope the weather stays mild for at least a few more months and then when winter arrives and when it is really dark out we will have to see if we can carpool or whether my bf can just meet him on his bike after the trainings. By then I will be ready to pop or just have popped and I won't be biking with theb baby the first many months, unless I get a cargo bike where I can pop the baby car seat in.

That's awesome about your son Henriette. My son just got his driver's license. We don't have a car for him, but if I'm not going anywhere he uses mine. It frees me up a lot!

I like the treadmill because I can force myself to go faster. I usually do intervals of a high speed (for me) and a rest every half mile.
