Goood Morning ladies,

Son no 1 did PlyoX yesterday and was totally wiped out... he was like a zombie this morning complaining about his legs}( Loved it. I'm a bad mum, I know. After doing L&G with me once, he considers me to be an alien or a robot. Son no. 2 wanted to do core with me yesterday. Now he has a six pack and I have a two pack, barely noticeable with all the flab on top. So he thinks his' are stronger than mine. Boy did he regret that. We did abs of off PS, he couldn't do it :+ I've again proven that mums are superior }(

Well, since my new Hardcores arrived yesterday afternoon I did GS Legs this morning. I could handle the same weight or more as Cathe in the standing exercises, but did she kick my butt with that ball / band work. The green band was too light on the leg press (really had to shorten it and I still didn't feel it) and the glute tucks (with one leg in the air), but the rest of it.... Better practice before I take my sons on for this one :p

Have a glorious day,
Dutchie:)

Good morning Ladies:

Dutchie:I love Gym Style Legs and I really like that floor work. Sounds like you and your kids are having a lot of fun working out together. What is Plyox like? Is it non-stop plyometrics? How long?Don't think I could handle that.

Last night: Got home very late and was up for a short workout only.
CTX kickbox-warmup and cardio only followed by CTX triceps and a stretch. I forgot how challenging the CTX upper body work is. The tricep sequencing makes for a tough 11 minute routine. I was mostly using GymStyle, PUB and S&H. Last night taught me again, just how important it is to mix things up.

Have a good day.

Hi Ladies.

Just wanted to say good morning even though I have no work out to report for last night.:-( x( ;(

I was at my MIL's for dinner and by the time I got home it was 9:30pm...oh well, there is always tonight.

Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning all!

Dutchie: LOL! Thanks for sharing your refreshing story - mums of the world unite!

Cathy: Thanks for reminding us to mix it up - we do tend to get comfortable with our workouts.

Today for me is my rest day - much needed - my arms are screaming!

Have a great Wednesday.

Tammy

PlyoX is non-stop plyo but you get breaks in between and not all exercises are equally intens. I usually add it on to a Cathe w/o skipping the warm up (boring) cause I don't find it intens enough. If I remember correctly, without the w.u. it's about 45minutes.

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday I disolved myself into our yard. Lets just say that I had a total body workout for sure:
Back (putting large rocks into wheel barrow)
Core/Legs and Glute/Cardio (Running with wheelbarrow/hauling rocks away)
Obliques (tossing rocks aside as similiar to Core Max when Cathe uses the medicine ball and goes from side to side while sitting up)

Today will be Clean Max and Laundry Max

Wendy- I am so excited for you...you will be popping out your baby any day now!

Dutchie- My son is always saying that he is stronger then me and likes to arm wrestle alot.

Tammy- great workout! My lower body felt the same way a few days ago.

Have a great day everyone!

Charlotte~~

Hello, Everybody!

Dutchie-I love that you and your boys workout together. I am training mine too also. They bike ride while I run or do yoga. Sometimes they will attempt a Cathe workout. They are only 9&10. They are so cute!

Cathy-Great workout, as usual!

Wendy-I can't believe you are still going strong! Right on, Lil' Momma!!:D

Tammy-Enjoy your rest day!

Charlotte-I am so jealous you get to workout in your garden. How relaxing and spiritual! Enjoy your time!

Today I did Imax 3 premix (no blasts), Core Balance premix, GS Legs (standing).

Tonight is my final. Then I have 1 more tomorrow and I am done for summer! HOOTIE-HOO!!!:D

Hi, Everybody!

Today is GS Floor Legs and MuscleMax standing legs. I cant do a lot of the standing leg (esp deadlifts) due to my lower back, but I love the floor work in GS Legs. 1 segment of CoreMAx and 1 segment of StretchMax. Later, after getting some work done, I will go to the gym and zone out on the elliptical for an hour.

Have a great day everybody.

Charlotte, Carla and Shelley,

Thanks for your kind words!:)

I am sooo excited! I'm not even nervous about labor and delivery yet! I think the good feelings are so strong that they are kicking fear's butt! lol }(

I don't think I mentioned it here...I was at the doc's yesterday morning and everything is looking great! My lil' man is preparing for his journey! :7 :+ :7

WOO HOO!

Good morning ladies!

Dutchie - how awesome that you work out with your sons! I can't wait until my baby is old enough. She's already told me she wants to run with me:)

Cathy - I'm enjoying mixing it up too. A-Jock has made a mish-mosh believer out of me!

Wendy - don't you beat yourself up for not working out! You're doing a fabulous job!

Tammy - enjoy your rest day.

Charlotte - I'm so jealous that you're out in the garden! I can't wait for the weather to get a bit nicer here so I can get working on mine.

Carla - WHOOT for being done school for the summer! Good luck on your exam!

Suzanne - once again I am in awe of your workout!

Last night was MM for me and I upped the weight on some exercises. I'm going to need 20 lb dumbells soon! Tonight I'm scheduled to do Imax 3 but I may just mix it up with something else!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Dutchie....I tink you need to invest in a stronger resistance Dynaband...I use one up from the green (purple) for GS Legs, and they make a silver one that is even stronger...:)

I'll be doing abs and the first Coremax premix, GS shoulders and back, then a 4 mile run.

Enjoy the day...:)...Carole

Morning Everyone,

I will be doing GS Legs and CoreMax #2 tonight after I get done with the softball game tonight. It's suppose to rain tonight so we will see if we even get the game in.

Have a great day!

Laurie Mac

Abs this morning with my fav abhits. Then cardio this afternoon and pushpull tonight. I havent done that one in awhile so I am anxious to do it again. Makes it seem like the first time and what is more exciting then doing a DVD for the first time! I am so happy that whatever I had passed quickly and I am back on my feet full force :) Thanks for all the well wishes.

Terri

Happy workouts!

Good morning!

Today I did KPC Premix #4: w/u, intermediate intensity drills, combos 1 & 2. Then I added on the KM leg conditioning drills, and finished with KPC stretch. Good workout.

Angie - pick your most favourite workout, and commit yourself to only doing the first 20 minutes. It's a great way to get started again, without feeling overwhelmed. Chances are good that you won't want to stop at 20 minutes, but even if you do, then you can feel good about accomplishing a 20 minute workout.

Laurie Mac - high five on the pikes!! That's awesome work! I always feel those in my hip flexors the next day. Enjoy the softball game tonight, and let us know the outcome tomorrow.

Katie - a 20 minute run!! That's amazing! So how often will you be running? Does DD go into a jogging stroller?

Dutchie - you have every right to be so pleased with yourself. You're making great progress on your running times.

Terri - glad to see that you're feeling better!

Annette - great news about your orthotics! I hope they last and you can finally get comfortable doing cardio again.

Reba - do you mean that you did SH chest, back, tri's, bi's, and legs on Sunday?? The whole 3 hours schmozle??? I wouldn't be able to move for a week! And I'd have to take frequent breaks for food! If you don't buy Cathe's workouts with credit card, how do you pay for them? Do you mail her a cheque? That's great restraint you have wrt using your credit cards. DH and I have halted all use of our cards, and are aggressively working to get the existing balances paid off.

Suzanne - your dinner sounds delicious!!! Too bad you had a few bad guests! Their behaviour sounds quite appalling. Do you always end up hosting passover dinner, or is it rotated between relatives? Keep us updated on how your studying goes! How long is the process? (ie., when will you achieve your certificate?)

Foodie Sue - Oh! How did you like HSTA? That workout seems to get very mixed reviews. I personally really like it. And no collection is complete without the SH series!!

Nancy - I'm sure you're still getting the job done, even with modifications. With that workout, how could you *not*?

Jes - that sounds like a great workout, and a terrific day! Do you have MIL-Days very often? They sound like fun! And please give me about a week's notice before the next one, so I can mail down my mending.

Have a great day!
Sandra

This morning was KPC - so fun, and what a calorie burner! (At least for me)

Yesterday I did GS Back Shoulders & Biceps. And for some reason, my triceps are sore today, in addition to my shoulders and biceps. I think it's from those barbell pullovers - I feel that in my triceps as well as my back. Maybe I'm doing them wrong?

Great work everyone! :D

Today was HSTA for the first time. It was quite a sweat fest. You can definately tell this is geared towards a different audience from her regular DVD's, but I did get a good work out from it and enjoyed it. I found it interesting that she never mentioned much how much weight her barbell had on it or what weight her dumbells were--just heavy and light.

I was easily able to do more weights (at least from a circuit workout such as this one) after having done Push Pull. That opens up possibilities for me. I never usually do weights (at least same body parts) two days in a row if one of them is a toughie like the HCs or Pyramids. Now I can.

Have a great day!

Sandra: I did the S&H Chest and Back Saturday night and then Slow and Heavy shoulders, triceps, biceps, abs and I did The Firm Floorwork for legs......I knew I would FRY if I did the legs of the S&H! I use tons of restraint on the credit card thing! We finally have them all paid off and its wonderful, but its sooooo frustrating to have to wait to buy anything you want. It really makes you think about what is important to you! I have stopped buying lotions and little things like that, now I make them last forever. Same with makeup! Also, I rarely just go buy a new cute shirt to wear out - I borrow or find something in my closet. I would rather spend my money on workout stuff to be honest! That is something I do daily and love doing it............cannot wait to order the CTX! I also quit picking up magazines at Walgreens or the supermarket, and quit buying paperback books, and never ever eat out M-F! Its amazing how quickly all that stuff added up here and there :)

Wendy: I am amazed at how calm you sound. I would be freaking out! THe thought of labor makes my insides scream at me - I would be the one having a panic attack outside the hospital! - LOL - I am a wimp when it comes to that, so you keep on rocking!

Last night my friend came over and we did BC......she loved it! No weights on the lower body for either of us - my hamstring is still super sore and she is a beginner at lower body - she HATES lifting on her lower body and hasn't fore years.....she felt sore fifteen minutes after the workout - it was fun!

Tonight is going to be The Firm Vol. 1 Floor Work and Pilates. Really need to get this hamstring stretched out :)

Have a great day everyone! Reba

Hey girls! today is paintmax and mowmax and BC. I haven't done BC in a long time. I'm looking forward to it.

Sandra: hey! my mil comes about once a month! send the mending and i'll sneak it in :p

jes

Morning all! I did SB today. Whew, knocked my socks off. Plus, my legs were sore from my run yesterday, but not as sore as I thought they'd be. I guess that's a good sign.

Sandra - I am hoping to run about twice a week to start and we'll see how it goes. At this point DD is still in bed when I plan to run. DH is usually getting ready for work while I am working out, so it makes it easy to pop out of the house for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, living in AZ, in the next coming months I might have to be getting up at 4:00 in order to avoid heat exhaustion.

Wendy - Glad to hear that all is well. Your little boy will be here soon. It's so exciting. You know that if one day goes my and you haven't checked in yet we will all be impatiently waiting for news!:)

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie
