Daily check in Wednesday 22 June

Good morning, happy birthday for your son Dutchie. Today is chest and back and ab ripped X of P90X. I am going to start a P90X rotation in the 1 of July but I want to try the workouts first. I am very happy with the Beach Body consumer service. I have received the order in perfect conditions and in a week only. Have a great day Ladies.

Ready to bring it.

Good morning,

A brief message this morning, as I have to hurry off to the shower so I can take my mother to the airport :-( and then take my DD to the doctor's for a possible UTI :-( :-(

This morning I did KickMax w/u, combos 1-4; Leaner Legs leg work; KM stretch. My lower back and hips are well stretched out now and feel great.

Have a great day!
Sandra

Busy busy day ahead, I did PS and PUB Shoulders only today, will do legs another day.

Have a good one!!!:D

Mornin' fitness beauties!

Today was a Cathe break. I like to mix it up sometimes. 30 min jump roping (10 min intervals) with 20 pushups b/w jump sets. Half of the pushups with one leg in the air. Working on strength building big time! Also added S&H bis and tris and some stability ab work. Happy hump day everyone :)

Morning ladies. I was still really worn out from my workout yesterday, so I did IMAX 2, intervals 1-5 and C&W abs. Tonight will be PUB shoulders and probably more abs. I'm scheduled to do biceps tomorrow, but I might throw it in tonight instead.

Have a great day!

Hello all:

Well I'm REALLY worn out today. I'm still following A-Jock's Blast from the Past rotation. This week is all circuit workouts and it's killing me. I usually never do weights on the same body parts two days in a row, and that's ALL I'm doing this week. Today was the was the warm-up from Circuit Max and all of SJP except the w/u and step portion.

Tomorrow BC is on the schedule, and I must say I'm dreading it because I'm so exhausted. My rest day is not until Friday. I may have to substitute BC for something else.

Have a good one.

Hey All! It's a gorgeous day here today, it rained last night and now the sun is shining and a cool breeze blowing. I'm home for lunch and will plant what I hope is the last of my garden.

This morning was PUB, I usually do some cardio before hand so I found I could lift heavier being fresh. I just bought a 25# dumbell for one arm rows and pullovers. The weight felt really good but when it comes over my face it's a bit disconcerting to think what could happen if my grip slipped!!

Thanks for your kind words Carole:)

Laurie, all the best to your MIL, shoulder injuries are very tricky.

Foodie Sue, listen to your body, you've been working VERY hard this week.

Sandra, hope your daughter is okay, poor little thing, I've never had a UTI but I've heard they are very painful.

Gotta get digging in the dirt. Enjoy your day everyone!

Take Care
Laurie:)

Hey everyone,

I was suppose to do weights today with leg work and abs. I just can't bring myself to do it. I don't know if it depression setting in because of my foot and not being able to do things. It has been like this all week. I have at least been doing weights faithfully, but this week I can't bring myself to do it.I feel bad because I write this morning all the stuff I need to to do and can't go through with it. Should I wait till tomorrow to try it again, or force myself to do this?

kim

Kim - whenever I feel like that, I tell myself that I'll just start, and if I start and I still don't feel like doing anything, I can stop. But I never do stop. Once I start I always feel better and keep going. Maybe that would work for you:)

Kim...I can relate as I have had my share of injuries...:(...no fun at all. Why not just try one of the Floor routines? PS, PLB, GS Legs, or L&G. See how it goes and if you don't feel like it...don't do it...you will most likely feel better tomorrow. Sometimes it is good not to push...:)...Carole

edited...not the best typer...:)

I changed my workout plans this morning (Yes Wendy, I really don't like KickMax).

At some point in time, running in the rain started to sound more appealing than attempting KickMax, so that is what I did. I LOVED IT! I relaxed into a nice steady pace and I ran the entire distance this time (about 3 miles). I actually think the rain helped me settle down into a nice pace.

When I returned home, I toweled myself off and went downstairs to do some ab work. I ended up doing the KickMax blasts too. Instead of doing jax between all the blasts, I marched in between a few and I was able to make it through to the end (Thanks to whomever suggested that).

I then did some ab work from the Ab hits dvd.

Angie: I will be with you in spriit tonite as you do KickMax!

Tammy

Tammy - LOL!! OK, girl! Actually, your run sounded like a lot of fun!! It seemed to have given you some extra energy or something. Magic rain. Now I'm wishing that it would rain tonight so I could skip KM and get wet instead! My kids love running around in the rain.

Angie

Tammy...running in the rain can be quite fun...and then Kickmax Blasts!!!! Even modified with the marching...http://bestsmileys.com/signs16/19.gif[/img]....Carole

Thanks Carole...I am so glad I started running again...and those blasts will be mine someday!

Ended up doing the step premix from cardio and weights this afternoon.

This half hour work out took me about an hour and a half though because I was rudely interrupted by a very large, flying, stinging insect in my work out room! I had to kill it and that is a chore for me as I skeeve killing most insects to begin with but then add to that the fact that it flies so it's harder to do PLUS it stings so I'm afraid of it! Oh my-it took a long time! lol I wanted to do stretchmax but i was outta time already...maybe later on tonight...we'll see.

Wendy - that sounds awful. I usually smash things like that so hard that they are unrecognizable once I'm done with them!

Tonight I did Imax Xtreme off The Terminator DVD, but I didn't do the weights, just all the cardio (since I did ME last night). It was a lot of fun! However, I don't actually feel like I worked out hard enough. I think there's something wrong with me:p

LOL.. Shelley I don't think there is anything wrong with you, I just think you are in darn good shape!!

I just finished LowMax on a bellyful of Carrabba food. It was an experience. I didn't get sick thank goodness. I really love that workout!! My first time doing the entire thing, have just done some of the segments on Hardcore Extreme.

My average HR was 142 Max HR 169 and calories burned 557!!!! I just burned 474 on the HCXtreme #2 which are hi/lo intervals and are crazy to say the least. That LowMax really gets down and dirty.

However..... I have made one major observation... I am into "listening to my body" and my body says "Jane, do not do LowMax the day after you do ME ever again". I just said "body, I agree 100%".
