Insomnia had me awake at 3am .

I'm HOPING to get in my cardio, and thinking about riding the stationary bike.

Good Morning Glories!

I'm taking a rest day today. I tossed and turned all night, but somehow fell into a DEEP sleep after I turned off the alarm @ 5am. DH woke me up @ 6...I hope i wake up soon :confused:

I just finished PP lower body 2X and my kb tutorial. I am really enjoying the kb, can't wait for my dvd!!!

I saw you got a 20 # kbell - so its working better for you?

I use all three of my bells in one workout and then tack on sections of Newport and practice my TGUs. Glad you are enjoying them.

My dr. suggested Sonata for sleep . Apparently it works for only 4 hours and his suggestion is that since I can GET to sleep but always wake up SO early, that I could take it in the middle of the night and then get back to sleep for the rest of the night.
I think I'm going to ask him to write the prescription.
I REALLY hate the idea of being on prescription sleep meds, but at least this way, I will take it only when I really need it.

In the meantime, I need a bleary-eyed smiley.

Still in my warm jammies......but starting to think about working out.......;):eek:

Vilma~ the 20# kb is working much better for me. :) I was able to do the turkish get up today with it!!! I kept my 25# figuring one day I will use that too! ;) I am really enjoying them, thanks!!

Becky~ I think the pills may be your answer. Maybe you don't have to take them everynight? Is that an option?
 
I did 45 minutes on the bike. WHEW !!

Deanie, GREAT work with the KB!! I need to work on getting the turkish get up. I just tried it a few times and didn't get it at all......never mind with a 20 pound weight !!! yikes!

Yes, the idea with Sonata is just take it when you wake up too early , if you have time to sleep 4 more hours, so I can take it as needed .
It would probably end up being pretty regularly , but that's better for me than just popping a pill every single night. This way when I CAN sleep on my own, I will and when I can't .......I can take the Sonata.
That's the idea anyway.
I hope it works.

Hope the Sonata works for you, Becky, it sounds like a better way to control your sleep situation so that you don't end up dealing with being over medicated and groggy.

Phyllis - CK is pretty fun, I have to admit.

Today was lower body day - so I did APX Lower Body Split, and added some floorwork with ankle weights. Good workout.

Hi all,

I did Billy's Fat Blasting Cardio with my weighted gloves on today for my cardio. Felt good to do a whole workout for once, I have been slacking when it comes to actually finishing a workout. But I did this one.
