Good Morning Phyllis, Hi everyone!!

This morning will be hi/lo & coremax#2 and it's going to rain so we get a break from this deck building project we've been working on !!:p

I got my garden in yesterday, so now my fingers are crossed that the fence we put up will keep the rabbits out.

hi/lo is my LEAST favorite type of cardio....and I rarely do it but Jane suggested the hi/lo from SJP, so I think I'll do that and if it's not long enough I'll ride my stationary bike or get outside for a power walk as an add on. ;-)

What's your favorite hi/lo ?

Today is a hectic day so I'll be doing a mish-mosh broken up throughout the day - conditioning drills from kickmax, one segment of coremax (haven't decided yet) and the hi/lo from BB timesaver 2.
 
Good morning all!


I went out for a walk/run this morning, but I ended up running into a neighbor who was just starting her walk, so we walked together. The pace was a little bit slower than I wanted, but it was a nice way to start the day! I still have walking lunges and ab work to do later on.

Becky- I'm with you on your dislike of hi/lo - I always feel so uncoordinated and silly while I'm doing it!

Good morning! Hope everyone got more sleep then me. Just can't seem to get my butt to bed. Enjoy the quiet house when everyone else is in lala land. I am going to do tris and chest and a coremax. Maybe I will do a little treadmill later. I should, I had tacos last night AAAHHHHH! But they were sinfully delicious, BAD BAD BAD!

Good Morning Ladies,

yesterday was KPC. Yikes. It was killer. I was not able to make it through the second punch and kick combos. That does make me happy though because it gives me something to work up to.

This afternoon will be push/pull. I am glad that it is shorter than yesterday. Have a good workout.

Teaching 2 pilates classes today, and already did Totally Cool Step.

I'm back . I ended up doing the step/hi-lo premix from SJ&P. That was 45 minutes and alot of fun.

Now it's time to do Coremax 2 !!!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Another day of awesome workouts! Unfortunately I'm still not able to work out. I am getting SO ANTSY! I can't wait to sweat...no to mention my mood could use some tension relief.

Becky: The step/hi-lo SJP premix is one of my favorites....Wish I could join in today!

Carole: My chiro said a few days rest, but I'm still in constant pain and will be seeing him again either today or tomorrow.

Heather: Thanks for the get well wishes.

Yikes, it's busy in here already:)

I have company coming tonight, so I got up and did Bootcamp at 5:30 this morning.:eek: It actually wasn't nearly as bad as I expected and at least I'm done for the day!

Sorry Tammy. I know how umcomfortable back pain can be, although I have not ever sprained mine. It has been alot better since I have been seeing a Chiro on a regular basis...hope yours gets better soon!

Another windy day...YUK!!! I'll be doing the Kicking & Punching drills from Kickmax, abs, and a 5 mile run

G'day Ladies!

I'm on the fly, 30 minutes from shower to out the door (with a few minutes on-line of course!;-) ) I just finished PUB and Janis Saffell/Guillermo Gomez Hardcore kickbox circuits. I've tried a few Janis Saffell w/o's lately and I like this one best. I got ripping and tearing vines in the garden yesterday and blew a couple of veins in my handsx( I laughed to myself after cause I "hurt it through the grapevine":+ I'm hoping I'm not too uncomfortable at work with my tender hands:( , it could be worse right!

Phyllis: PUB is not one of my faves but when I did it last time I really enjoyed it b/c I did the down only premix and went as heavy as I could.}( Enjoy whatever you decide to do!

Becky: No fair, I'm jealous! I want a deck! Can ya come build one for me when you are done with yours? I have a fence I can lend you!;)

Tracy: Walking w/someone is nicer than walking alone. If you feel "deprived" of a cardio w/o you can always add on to it later.:)

I have been gone to long, but back on track today. Last night I got major sleep bout 13 hours and did I need it yep! I was totally drained and I mean DRAIN.

Any who, tonight is PLB & 2 mile run, cant wait :p :p Have a great day everyone.

Good morning!

I'm online again! I started working out again yesterday, and did Step Blast. This morning I did Power Hour.

Saturday was quite a day. My DH turned 39, we moved into a brand new house, and my 15 year old cat died. My poor kitty started puking up blood on Saturday morning, and it was obvious that she wouldn't be making it to the new house with us. :-( The whole day felt very surreal. On the bright side, I love our new house, and am so happy that "The Move" is finally over with. We have everything functional now, and are well on our way to being unpacked. DH and I are both seriously sleep deprived.

Phyllis - I love PUB. So effective!!

Becky - I'm not crazy about hi/lo either. Of Cathe's hi/lo, SJP is my most well-liked, with MIC hi/lo being my most disliked (but I still force myself to do it at least once a month).

Hannah - KPC is a great workout. Good job on getting through all those conditioning drills in the first half of the workout!

Tammy - what did I miss? Why are you unable to workout? Is this still the strained back problem you were having a bit ago?

Shelley - Enjoy your BootCamp Afterglow :)

Carole - enjoy your workout today. Over the weekend, during The Move, I was able to maintain my vegetarian eating, although ate a lot of junk food (doughnuts, potato chips, brownies, birthday cake, etc.). It tasted great, but didn't make me feel very good. I really, really appreciate how much better I feel when I eat low fat, low sugar, vegan.

Laurie - LOL at grapevine pun. Very clever! What do you mean, you blew some veins in your hands? I don't understand that. Regardless, it sounds painful, and I hope they feel better soon.

Wendy - I'll take that fence! Nice upper body workout you have planned for today.

Teddygirl - 13 hours of sleep! I can only daydream....Have a great workout.

Hello all!

Today was a 3 mile run, and a 30 minute bike ride. I suppose I should do core max 3 now since I've neglected my abs lately. Sounds like great workouts are going on here.

BTW Becky and Tracy, I'm no fan of hi/lo either. It's my least favorite cardio. As much as I enjoy SJP, I find I don't reach for it often because I just feel so goofy doing the hi/lo (and I'm actually a decent dancer, it just feels more like cheerleading which feels a little silly at 36 .;-) )
