Hi Ladies,

Mat work from Butts and Guts in the books and my legs feel like jello! Is Mercedes Boylan Cathe's second in command? She seems to appear in a lot of workouts. Also, small steps at eating better! Pasta salad with tomatoes and Italian dressing. Need to lay off the pizza rolls though!

Hi Everyone,

Geoff - it's Wednesday! September 2nd today. Holding onto time :) Butts and guts is enduring. good job.

Today I did a 30 minute McFit Method jump rope + weights workout + a 10 minute jump rope workout from jumpropedudes - using different weights in ropes. My Gawwwwsh that was brutal. I couldn't do it all. i can't cool down either. wow.

I started out as a FIRM girl as well before moving onto Cathe.

I’m curious as to what everyone likes about Butts&Guts.

Another long one for me today. KY & S&H Legs and Shoulders. Then I did a 40 minute walk. Walking after LB weights always quiets my cranky SI joint.

Ok, so 2 check ins today.

Anyway I taught my Dance Circuit to 2 ladies for 48 minutes, then did 35 minutes of weight work including floorwork for abs.

Muggy, overcast and drizzly today.

Geoff no worries on the check in. It’s hard to find this thread since we post a new one every day. Thanks for starting a new one.

Lanette I love Butts and Guts as I find it to have a nice cardio effect. Cathe doesn’t use heavy weights either which I like sometimes.

Geoff you have my thanks too. I started the thread the other day and had to edit it because I got the date wrong.

Siobhan, you are doing some amazing jump rope workouts!
I Like the mat work because I add the 3lb weights and the ab work is good! I'm not a fan of standing work because my knees are not in good shape.
 
Thanks for sharing Geoff. I like to read what folks are doing but also enjoy knowing why they like this or that.
