Good morning everyone,

Today I did:

Gym Styles - legs - standing only
Muscle Max - Back/shoulders
MMA Boxing Heavy Bag Bonus - haven't done this in a loooong time. It was good

Have a great day everyone.

Hi gals,

Today was Cathe's MMA Kickbox the warm up and first combo then a 40 minute break to take youngest son to college then I finished with Cardio Kicks Power Drills and stretch. So not too bad considering the break up of the workout. Deciding to do the power drills instead of continuing after a long break worked out well.

Have a great day!

Hi ladies,

Great mishmashes!!

Today was Cathe Live Lower Body Trisets. Really did the trick.

Haven't worked out yet, came here for some ideas. Calico, don't our 50 minute workouts that get stretched into 70 or 80 minutes due to children burn us more calories, lol? :) This happens all the time to me, so I just pretend it does. :)

Hi all, today I just got home a little too late from work to train. Tomorrow i'd like to do bodymax 2 step routine and legs...
May I ask you for advice? As you may know I'm fairly new to Cathe's workouts. It has not been much time since I've started lifting weights. In order to do so I purchased some total body workouts, such as muscle max, muscle endurance and others, and Xtrain which I do do love!!! Today STS was the deal of the day. This week some new dvds are going to be delivered to me, among which GYM STYLE AND PYRAMID UPPER AND LOWER BODY. I was tempted to buy the complete Sts series as well just today but I've decided to wait partly because I can train with the new dvs partly because I've read elsewhere on this forum that Sts workouts are pretty long. During working days, monday to friday I can train for no longer than 50 minutes due to my work schedule, in the week end i could do longer workouts allthough I have never tried to go beyond 6o, 65 minutes. Now my question is: is Sts feasible if you don't have more than 50\60 minutes to spend on a workout? I also need to change my workouts everyday since I get easily bored and don't really know if I coud stick to a program lasting one month.....
Thanks in advance for suggestions or just if you tell me your esperience!
Good night

Today's workout: Low Impact: Afterburn. I forget just how very challenging this workout is. Wow. :) I have to pause it every now and then to catch my breath. Have a great day everyone!

Hi Sandy,

I bought STS a few years back and I love it. I follow a month rotation here and there. I think I did the whole thing through once but... I use them as stand alone workouts mainly. Ply legs is like Cardio Leg Blast from Xtrain and you get four of them. Every workout is stellar. I even bought squat rack legs. You don't need a squat rack - just heavy weights like 25, 30, 35 if you can manage it. I use squat rack legs a lot. It's an hour but I don't wait the 2+ minute rest so it's only about 35 minutes for me. And, you can pare the workouts down when short on time by cutting the rests in half or just skip the third round in some cases. You will not be disappointed when you finally make the purchase - I feel. Lotta bang for your buck.
