Good Morning Everyone,

Today is my youngest DD's birthday! She is 21 years old. Wow.

Today I did Cathe's Cardio Core Circuit - wow. I had to stop a few times and modify a bit. That is a tough workout. Feeling nostalgic for older Cathe workouts these days. They don't disappoint. I didn't have the energy to move onto anything else. Phew.

Linda/Nora/Lannette - I do not buy DVD's anymore. I just use the WB. I accidentally ordered the recent band DVD's and never opened them. I have tons of unused DVD's now. Sometimes I pull out other instructors - but not often.

So glad to see you all checking in yesterday. We had a full house. So exciting and motivating!

Have a great day everyone

Good morning ladies....Hope you have a great day...and workouts !

Siobhan, sounds like you had a great workout with Cardio Core Circuit ! That is a tough one
too ! I like to re-visit Cathe's older workouts too....use them alot in the blender.

Today, I did
KCM- Power Split dvd- Premix: Lower Body Split Workout (no finishers) - 22 min (one of my
favorites !)

Bitgym- Treadmill walk in Tokyo, Japan - 25 min. (beautiful scenery)

That's it.....

Today was total body + cardio
- P.Volve 20 Min (18.5m) LB Strength & Stability with the Heavy Ankle Band
- AP Basic Cardio Workout (Horizontal Rebounding 25m on the V2MaxPlus
- Stott Off the Wall Spring Wall 30m,
- Spine Align, Deep Squats, Arc Extensions 10m

Siobhan: Happy Birthday to your daughter! Core Cardio Circuit IS a tough workout! I stream P.Volve on my large iPad Pro but use DVDs for everything else. We live in the boonies so depend on Verizon wireless unlimited for internet.

Aqua Girl (Linda, right?) Power Split is KCM’s newest, am I correct? I don’t own that one yet but have most of her other DVDs and really enjoy her workouts.

Hi Nora and Annette! Hope you have a great day!

Hi Lannette, yes I am Linda :). Great job with your workouts, they sound interesting, so
here comes the questions….what is horizontal rebounding? I have a rebounder & use it
from time to time, but keep things low impact & on the lighter side. Do you use a foam
roller? I have never used one, I recently made me one with a pool noodle (LOL) just to
get the general idea before investing in one…. I had bought one at Walmart some time ago,but returned it cause it was hard & hurt! I am thinking about a OPTP super soft and
was just wondering if you have experience….

Hi ladies,

Today I came to the gym and did an hour on the elliptical (my legs are fried now), then I did about 30 minutes of some weight machines for triceps, biceps, chest and back including my floorwork for abs, legs and glutes and a stretch. Trying to do some weights work everyday.

Nice workouts everyone!! Keep up the good work!!

See you tomorrow

Hi Linda, I have a regular rebounder too. Mine has bungees. I consider that to be vertical (up&down) rebounding.

What I consider Horizontal rebounding is done on a Pilates reformer. I have both a rebounder and jumpboard for our Stott V2Max Plus reformer. You jump while on the carriage, usually on your back. Depending on the springs you use you can work more legs or core.

I just recently got back into foam rolling. I have a 36” OPTP Foam Roller, an 18” Melt Roller and a 13” P.Volve Foam roller. I used to prefer Melt style rolling but I’m really becoming partial to P.volve’s more intense roller work. Cathe has a new roller that’s a bit longer and maybe a quarter of an inch smaller in diameter than the PV roller but otherwise looks the same. I was hoping she’d use it in the new DVDs. My OPTP is about the same softness as the melt roller. The PV roller is quite firm. The trick is to learn to support yourself in a way that allows you to adjust the pressure.

That was very creative to use a pool noodle! I love pool noodles for all kinds of uses.

Nice workout Annette.

You too Nora. I initially read your workout as kettlebell Jump rope and was picturing you jumping with a KB in each hand. :)
