Good Morning All,

Whoa - heading into Christmas now. Christmas music starts this wednesday on sirius! yeah.

Today I did a short workout. I did another Cathe WB EDT - squats/back + 20 minutes of someone else's Cathe WB Legs workout - a real mish mosh.

I hope you all had a great Hallowe'en night. We still have candy but I will just bring it all into drug treatment. Those guys are always looking for candy.

TLC93 - sorry you missed seeing the kids this year
Linda - slowly on the mend I see - I am struggling myself to keep a cold at bay
Henriette - basketball on hallowe'en night? is Hallowe'en big there?

I hope you enjoyed your rest day elsie. Annette - any more weight loss for you with all these classes you are doing along with your own workouts?

Hi Ceci, actually I gained some weight but I think it was/is more muscle than fat. I am now concentrating on only eating when I am physically hungry. This is working and I have lost about 2 of the 7 pounds that I have gained, so that is a step in the right direction.

Today I did Cathe's Rock em Sock em Kickbox workout part of the time holding 2 pound walking weights.

Hope everyone is doing well and somebody other than me will have to explain what EDT is to TLC93, I hope that is who asked. I don't do fancy lifting. Oh but I am almost back to my chest press weight from before I hurt myself.

Chest press: 110 pounds for 4 reps

Leg press machine: 197 pounds for 2 sets of 12-16 feet slightly angled and again with feet widely turned out. My legs are definitely slimmer now and toned.

In it's purest form it's pairing two antagonistic exercises for 15 min, each time doing X reps of each before resting. X being 10, 5 or whatever. I think both I and Siobhan mix it up though, using the basics explained in the book Muscle Logic with other workout dvds or books. I've only been doing it for a few weeks now, so I still have a lot to learn and try before I can really decide what it does for me.

Today I have been feeling yesterday's w/o BIG time! My quads, hamstrings and glutes are so sore!

Elsie - I can work my lower body like this with weights and low impact, as long as there is no running or jumping... So my intervals for the Strong w/o's were KB swings one day and heavy bag work another.

After work I did a Shine Dance Fitness w/o... Another Halloween one, not as much fun as the other Halloween one, but still good. Then late at night, once my son was in bed I did another as the two of us were home alone and I figured low impact moves would be good for my sore body. Now I am not so sure any more as my feet are super tired.

Oh well, time to rest before tomorrow.
 
Hi girls....I was able to do a short blender shoulder/abs workout last evening.. Yay! Still feeling it in my back/hip but it certainly feels better so
far, actually didn't take any pain meds at all yesterday. Step in the right direction !
