Hi ladies,

Doctor's appointment yesterday was more of the same, I have 25-30% kidney function and I am in stage 4 kidney disease. Not much I can do at this point.

He will see me every 3-4 months now. Joy o joy.

Today we had snow!! But I made it to the gym for a 80 minute circuit workout of weights, sled, floorwork and bag punching so I managed 2 weight sections and 2 cardio sections so not bad. I did not push the sled very heavy but did some different exercises for back and shoulders.

Everyone is getting in great workouts!! Keep up the great work!!

See ya tomorrow.

Nice variety Nora with YT- Kaleigh Cohen Strength- 30 min KILLER Full Body Strength with Dumbbells-Strong Core Focus, Les Mills Pump- Sports Attack = 31 Min & Combat- Upper Body Blow Out = 26 Min., & Jessica Smith- 10 Min Quick Walk-Steppin'Strength Walk.
I am sorry Annette about your kidneys diagnosis…. I believe I remember your mention
of it before….yes, I was wondering this morning whether you had snow …. Luckily
we only got a bunch of rain, but sunny & cold right now. Wonderful 80 minute circuit workout of weights, sled, floorwork and bag punching at the gym today.

waves to Siobhan & Anita….

Hi all!

* Worn out on Friday so I rested.
* Saturday I had DREADFUL PMS so I basically stayed in bed.
* Sunday is a rest day anyway, but I was busy with Mass, teaching catechism at our parish, prep for our Super Bowl party, then three hours of cleanup. LOVED THE GAME, THOUGH. What a nail-biter.
* Monday (yesterday) my cramps and fatigue were so bad I couldn’t run errands or a house, so a workout was definitely not getting done. We managed a smidge of school, even though the kids are passing around some sort of little virus.
*TODAY has been better, but also more of the same. My daughter’s 14th birthday is on Valentine’s Day, but of course that falls on Ash Wednesday this year. So we are celebrating today instead (“Fat Tuesday”).
*Have yet to get a workout in, but I’m eyeing the basement for a good one in about 45 minutes.

**STS Meso 2, Week 2, Disc 16, Chest, Shoulders and Triceps — 64 minutes
**Core Max #1 No Equipment Abs — 20 mins

Everyone’s work looks so good!
Annette: So so sorry about the kidney disease dx. What are next steps?

I’m amazed at how hard you all work with chronic injuries and dxs. Truly inspiring. I don’t know that I would be so brave and uncomplaining. :D I feel like I’d be the one spilling my troubles all over everyone, stranger or not, LOL. Well done, faithful warriors!

AVeyRa, there are no next steps just more frequent bloodwork to monitor. Hopefully I stay where I am otherwise it is dialysis and ultimately a kidney transplant. It is a silent disease with no real symptoms until you are near the end.

Hope you feel better.
