Hi gals,

Another hot one today, but with 3 pound ankle weights on and 2 pound wrist weights on I did 46 minutes of This is Taebo , and since it was 81 degrees in the house I was a sweaty mess.

I have a follow up with the orthopedic doctor today at 2 and PT at 3:45. So busy afternoon.

Have a great day and workout![emoji41]

Hey Missy! Glad to see you again. Cathe can be tough in the Live classes right? Annette I hope ortho and PT go well. Good luck. Henriette thanks for the book titles. I immediately looked them up at my library. I'm always looking for a great story. Today I did Mindy Mylrea Tabata bootcamp with toys. It was great! Not frantic, easy to modify and I got to use my BOSU. Hi to all who follow.

Scorching heat? Well summer seems to have returned here as well, sort of. Today was around 23 degrees, so for here that is quite warm, but I spent the day indoors at the office so didn't get to enjoy it much. But still nice for the commute and a few minutes in the garden when I got home.

Tonight I did KCM Body Shop - premix Upper Body Shop. Don't think I have done that premix before. It was good.

Today another box of books arrived. 31 in total [emoji38] although 8 of them are kids books, so for the baby when he is a bit older. I am such a sucker for a good bargain. It was again one of those deals on Amazon with 3 books for 10 pound, where some of them would have cost me 8 pounds each!

For the baby I got several Julia Donaldson story books. My son used to love those, and she has written quite a few new ones since he was younger so I wanted to expand the collection, although it may take a year or two before the baby will fully enjoy them. The rest were a mixture of chick lit and psycho thriller or crime novels. Can't wait to have more time to read!

Peg - how long have you had your Bosu? That's been on my fitness wishlist for so long now. But I seem to be spending all my money on books and stuff for the baby and occasional fitness dvds, despite not being able to do all higher impact ones at the moment.

Hi Henriette! Please let me know how the books are. I'm on dud #3 right now...grrrrr! Well I'm just getting familiar with Mindy Mylrea. She uses the BOSU in a handful of her workouts. I've only had my BOSU for about a month. I must admit it's tricky to get used to BUT...the "unstable environment " really works your glutes, legs and core! I love abs on my stability ball but when I did obliques on the BOSU?!? Holy cow! I felt it. You have to find the sweet spot for where to stand to stay upright, then add movement like squats, knee ups, push ups etc. I love it. Mindy has Cardio and toning work that's awesome! I have Total body Blast, Tabata bootcamp with toys and others I can't remember. She also does a lot of gliding disc work. Really nice workouts! Advanced level so be prepared to be humbled. Total Fitness has a bunch of her dvds. I love the BOSU.

Hi girls ......great workouts today! :)
I was looking at Michelle Dozois's upcoming w-o's as well. Too much jumping around for me. Her workouts are effective, though! Oh, I wish I hadn't gotten rid of my Bosu, or the mini-tramp. That's moving for ya!!

This morning I went to a PiYo class & did a bit of walking. Yes, it is really hot here too! I want it to cool down.
