Hello Everyone,

I love that we are all from such different places in the world - Elsie you are out west correct? I bet where you live is beautiful. I'm in the concrete jungle!

Today I did Rippedism - a free total body workout they are offering:

Next I added on a new Craig Ballantyne workout - i managed only 15 minutes - ran out of time. Today was supposed to be a real rest day but.......... I just couldn't. I purchased CB's TT2 workouts for 37.50 Cdn. I couldn't resist!

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Ceci,

We are a diverse group of ladies.

Cold here again and windy.

Today was a hodge podge of different workouts. Since I thought I might take an afternoon sub job I started with the 8 Minute Taebo. But I decided not to so I did KCM Total Body Kickbox the workout 1 combo workout.

Then I still wasn't feeling worked out so I added Cathe's Rock'm Sock'm the premix that was the warm up, the Blizzard Blast and stretch.

Now I am done, whew!!

Have a great day!

Good evening ladies, I too enjoy being in this group of women living different lives and experiences. It think distance is like age, something relative, we all are part of this world. In our diversities we have found something that makes us close, our passion for Cathe, fitness and a healthier life. Should we investigate further I have no doubt we would find many more points of contact.
So today was a rest day. I came back home with a little headache and I did not feel like working out. I cooked for my partner and prepared the meals for the dogs. My partner is so kind that he usually performs these acrtivities while I work out. It was nice doing this for him and also the headache vanished. See you tomorrow

Hi all!

Sandy - I am glad your headache disappeared again. Headaches can be so bad!

Siobhan - let us know how you like TT2.0. I am quite curious.

Today I just couldn't help myself. I have been wasting too much time taking sneak peaks at Cathe on youtube so rather than going straight to my planned H&C w/o I decided to have some fun. I went for Xtrain Hard Strikes, premix 16... So just over 30 min of kickboxing including a few too many jumping jacks. I can't remember there being that many before. I was feeling it in my calves and shins (my weak spot).

Once done I skipped the stretch and moved on to my planned w/o: Max Hammer Strength and I am glad I did. A very good workout. Just over 30 min each time a body weight exercise followed by 8 slow and heavy reps. For the slow and heavy I used two 9 kg dumbells, which for me is very heavy. You don't repeat any exercises so time goes by quickly and esp with my Hard Strikes beforehand I was really dripping with sweat by the end of it... And I now have a warm, well worked sensation in many different muscles. So far I feel the H&C a lot in my quads and hamstrings... And I do miss isolated muscle workouts and fun cardio hence my add ons when I have time and energy to do more.

Let's see how I feel tomorrow when it's another Chisel w/o. They hit me even harder!

:) I very much enjoy our diversity as well. As Sandy said, all with different experiences to bring to the board & the conversation.
(Yes, I am on the West Coast of Canada Siobhan. It is beautiful ..I cannot complain, although for ordinary university educated people like myself & my spouse it is far too costly to live here and that is at least part of the reason we are moving. I am certain I will miss being able to do outdoor things 12 months of the year with the mild climate!! lol)

Excellent workouts today ladies. Glad you got in a rest day Sandy ..but sorry you had to deal with a headache. Do you make your dogs' meals?

Looks like a few of us were in the mood for kickboxing today, lol, I did the less kicks premix from Rock em,Sock em + two sets of deadlift-low lunge combo. I will probably get in a lower body stretch tonight. I was a bit tired and this workout proved nice and energizing for me today.

Take care all & see you again tomorrow!
