Daily Check-in Tuesday April 24th

Daily Check-in

I am tired and hoping to get to bed early tonight, so this will be a quick check-in for me. I did the Low Max step premix this morning followed by the Muscle Max upper body push pull premix. I love both of these workouts.

I did not pack my meals and snacks today, so I went to a local sandwich shop for lunch and ate a cheese sandwich on homemade whole wheat bread with a huge pickle. I can tell that I am bloated from all the sodium in the pickle. Step away from the scale!

Kick Max is in my DVD player for tomorrow morning. I am not sure if I will do the workout as produced or stick with my favorite boot camp challenge premix. My boss is planning to be in the office all day, so this will be a great way to start my day.

My friend Rebecca is hooked on Nutiva hemp protein powder now thanks to my recommendation, and I cannot find it anywhere in town. She keeps buying all they have in stock!

I went to James Avery tonight and replaced a necklace that kept falling off because the clasp was broken. I was planning to have it repaired, but they offered me a nice discount on a replacement if I traded in the old one. I have a shiny new chain for my charm.

I am planning to start an intense 10-day cleaning project tomorrow. I am increasing my intake of fruits and veggies as well as spring water to cleanse my body, and I am hoping to clear a bunch of clutter out of my home. I have way too much stuff. Taming the paper tiger is my first priority. I also need to downsize my collection of workout shoes.

Phyllis, Pit Bull is my Cathe at the club. She is beautiful, super fit, and one of the best fitness instructors and personal trainers in the world. I love her to pieces! She was my personal trainer for a season, but she had to cut back her evening hours for personal (family) reasons. She gave me plenty of notice, and I found Cathe in my quest for a suitable replacement. Well, no one can take her place. Cathe is in her league though! I immediately bonded with Cathe because she is so similar in intensity and style to my beloved Pit Bull. Cathe’s step choreography is more dancy and fun for me. Pit Bull is definitely more intense and challenging, and she loves me! Here is a message I wrote last year with a detailed description of cardio boot camp:

By the way, her cardio boot camp class is way harder than Drill Max!!! I think there is an iPod in my future too! I bought my first DVD player last year thanks to Cathe! It appears that I will soon be able to attribute another toy purchase to her. Cathe is an expensive habit!

Tammy, I will be thinking about you at 4:00 a.m.

Blessings,
Heather B.
