Hi gals,

Today was Cathe's ICE ROCK Em SOCK Em KICKBOXING.

It was good. Only workout I can't hold my 2 pound weights in each hand during. I can manage like 20 minutes but Cathe does everything faster in this workout with no pauses so it is tougher to me.

Good job on Rock em. It's fun but also tiring!

I was having such a bad day and was seriously stressed out and late when it was time to w/o, already after 21.00. First I thought no way... I just want to crawl into bed cry and read a chick lit to empty my head, but I toughened up keeping Chalene's turbo fire saying in mind, you go in all upset and by the end of a good w/o you don't even remember why. Turns out it is not entirely true, I still remember, but I am more relaxed. So I am glad I did w/o.

I did Max Hammer Strength tonight and once again went real heavy so I topped it off with a coconut flavored shake. Hope that will help my muscles recover. I still really like H&C but as this is my 4th week I think I will take a break from it and return to Cathe after this week.

Now it is time to crawl into bed and get lost in a good book. I need the escape today!

Hi Henriette, sorry you had such a bad day. Tomorrow is another day and and you will see things from a different angle for sure!. Today was legs day for me. Inspired by a Fb Cathlete I did Cathe's High Reps legs+ Total body trisets lower body circuit. I don't know how I managed to do the two w/s: lots of lunges, squats, deadliftes, glutes and hamstrings work using weights, discs, the ball. We will see how I feel tomorrow but I can say that I am satisfied: it was hard work! Good night my friends, sleep well.
 
Excellent workouts today/tonight you guys! I cannot believe you did those together Sandy!!! :eek: Good luck standing tomorrow. lol. I actually really love both of those lower body workouts & am just a huge fan of LIS Tri-sets anyway.

Today I did the quickie Tabata slide n glide from To The Max & embarked on a 115 minute routine of core, stretch, foam roller, stability ball stuff (both my own stuff, fitnessGlo & Jessica Smith ...her ball work is great). I needed that!

It's 29.5 C/85 F American here today! Too warm for April! and my currant plants are drying out.
