Hi Everyone,
Since I workout late in the evening, I always post what I did the evening before.

Monday evening: Slow and Heavy Legs, abs and Stretch Max #3. Somewhat shorter workout for me. Don't know what's on tap for me tonight. Some cardio and I am hoping to get some upper body work in. Will post tomorrow. Have a great day.

Well, if you didn't see my post in the forum for comments on work outs last night, let me tell you...I did PUB...ALL the way UP and ALL the way DOWN...and all I have to say is OOOOUUUUCCCHHHH! THAT is one EVIL work out! }( }( }(

I have PLB on tap for tonight...I will NOT be attempting to do the whole thing first time out though. I learned my lesson last night! I will do pyramid up and add something else to the work out instead...I have to be able to walk tomorrow!!! LMAO!:p

Okay, well gotta jump in the shower before I'm late for work!

Good Morning, Everyone!

Today was Imax 2 for me. I am so excited. I dropped three pounds. I want to lose 6 before my aunt comes to visit. I made a bet with my dh. I am half way there. I have until April 8th. I have to stay focused. I don't know why, but when I start doing good, it's like I purposely sabotage my efforts.;( What's up with that?
 
Good morning, ladies!

Last night was PLB in full for me, with very heavy weight.... it felt really great but I am finding I can't comfortably hoist more than 40 pounds over my head, though. My shoulder goes click click click. :eek: I am going to have to investigate weight vest options...

This morning was S&H bis & tris which also includes about 5 minutes of ab work. That was my first time through and I didn't go as heavy as I probably could have. I am feeling a little sore, though, so I'm hopeful. ;-)

I have a question... when you all do overhead extensions, do you switch the hand which is on top? I am trying to figure out if the hand on top or bottom means that tri is working harder.... any input appreciated.

Morning everyone.

Nothing yet for today, but last night I did Kick Max for only the second time. I'm really enjoying it. I think I actually managed to keep my leg fairly high for the majority of the leg work at the end!

Tonight I am going for a run and will try to do some weights, depending on how late it gets.

Hi Marie....I wouldn't go much heavier with weight overhead if your shoulder is clicking. I know a few of the members use weighted vest. You could post a question in the Open forum about where to get them. I have a weightlifting belt that I attach ankle weights on to increase my weight amount. For the tricep overhead extensions I have never thought about which hand goes on top...:)...but one of my adjustable dumbbell sets has a big 5 lb weight plate and when I use that one my hands are pretty even...:)...Carole
 
Good morning everyone. Yesterday I did IMAX 3 step premix, GS chest and triceps and the 4 combinations of Kickmax. No pain. Today I will do GS back, shoulders and biceps and the punching and kicking combinations of KPC with the 4 combinations of Kickmax. Have a great day.

My workout is in for the day

Today was:

CTX: 10-10-10: with the Kickboxing and hi/lo chapters repeated x2, I had muscle failure on the triceps today...could not do the last rep on the overhead press..Ouchy!!
CTX: All abs: Step abs, Leaner legs abs and the planks...

Morning all. Well, I decided to mix things up a bit and did my TaeBo Advanced workout. I haven't done this workout since I started doing Cathe. All I have to say is that it really shows how much Cathe's workouts are getting me in shape because I barely even got winded doing this workout and I used to have to pause it several times throughout to catch my breath. Not to mention, my punches pack a heck of a lot more power than they used to. Way to go Cathe!!! I plan to do back and shoulders from PUB later tonight.

Good Afternoon. Getting a late start...went to dentist earlier today, in the SNOW! YUK!!!
Anyhow, just did legs and glute so feeling like the tin man for now.

Hi all,

I did PUB triceps, then tried to do step made it through the warm up on Interval Max 1 then my toe and foot screamed so I did the stretch and called it quits. I think the reason my back is hurting is because I am compensating for my toe hurting so my back on the same side is hurting now.:( I can't win. But after a failed attempt at stepping I decided to do something different so I popped in a pilates tape and did 34 min. of pilates. I haven't stretched like that in a loooooooooooong time so we will see how I feel tomorrow!!:p :+

I honestly hope that my whole foot isn't completely shot by the time I go to the foot doctor which isn't until the 16th of this month.

Today I did Step Blast for the first time in a long time. I had forgotten what fun it is! If you put a lot of energy into it, it really is a pretty good workout.

I'm late but that's when I work out. I have to get in the *mood* to do it. Today was my day to shop for my barbell set and 2 other sets of weights. Had to call the tax man which I put off all the time. It's deed I dred but did it. Then read motivational book.Attitude is everything. I find I need to read things like this because if I read all these posts I'd have a major depressive attitude about myself and I can't let that happen.

so, I read 3 chapters and then did my first Pure Strenght exercise.It was lovely. I did what I can handle cause I know me, if I hurt myself, I won't do it again, or it will be a long time before I do that thing again.

This body chainging thing is a work in progress.
