Daily check-in Tue 28 March

RE: Daily Check-in

Hey Wendy,

Right now I am subbing an SS for one all weight workout in the current rotation. I am anxious to see what Cathe comes up with for next month, then I will let you know how I am going to integrate the series into that.

For instance, this week calls for PUB and PLB twice.

I may sub an SS for one, and then do the PUB/PLB premix for the other.

Sandra,

I actually have a sneaking suspicion (sp??) that Joey is suffering from a bit of seperation anxiety with me. He is fine all day long with me but at night after dad gets home, if I leave the room sometimes just for 2 mins and he is with his daddy, he gets all upset and starts crying and crawls over towards the gate and starts yelling for mommy. It's so sad ;( ...I just want to scoop him up every time but I realize that I shouldn't so I do what I have to do and THEN console him when I am done. It's funny though because I left him at the gym daycare today and he totally didn't even take notice when I left the room. When I came back, he whined a bit and came over to me once he knew I was there. Last night he was happy as long as I was holding him but once I put him in his crib to go to sleep and I would leave the room he would get really upset. I went up to console him a couple of times but soon realized what the issue was and knew I couldn't do this all night...so I finally had to let him cry it out for about 20-30 minutes until he finally fell asleep...

These are the things no one warns you about when you get pregnant!:p

After the Viper today, I rounded out my workout with abs from MM and HSChallenge which by the way, is an excellent 18 minute ab routine. These work well together.

I then did Michelle LeMay Stretch Fusion I taped off FitTV. I feel great. Now after sleeping 12 hours straight last night (yes I was tired!!), I hope I can sleep tonight because it is back to work tomorrow!!

Wendy - I remember those days!! You are bringing it back to me. I had a hard time letting them cry themselves to sleep but unless you want to be up 24/7, it's best.

Jane, it was sooo hard to let him cry last night...he was sooo loud it kept DH awake even w/o the baby monitor on!;( He did finally wear himself out though and this morning he was no worse for it. He went to bed early though b/c he didn't get enough sleep last night...that'll teach him!:p

Hi again,

Oh my is all I can say about BodyMax. That was tough! I started with the 8inch step, but about 20 min in I dropped down to 6. After about 30 min, I had to remove some of the power, and somewhere during the 3rd set of pushups I had to drop to my knees, but I completed it, and I actually did almost all of the abs (I took one quick break during the bicycle like maneuver, but if I had realized it was almost over, I probably could have finished.) I was contemplating the August 2005 rotation, but after BodyMax today, I'm not so sure. :+

Tonight was the annual wine and cheese gala, and I had a ball. Had some great wines, and some great hors d'ouevres so I knew early on that I absolutely had to finish Body Max tonight. :)

Katie, I agree w/ Carole -- stay away from that scale when ttom is near :). Glad you're feeling less icky.

Becky, hope you enjoyed your "easy" day. :)

Conni, are you still able to lift your arms? :p

Wendy, I hope Joey has a better night tonight. I know it must have been so hard for you to hear him cry. :-(

Heather, I haven't tried HSTA yet, but now you have me scared because I thought BC was hard! :)

Carole, hope you enjoyed your run, and yes, it was long!

Sandra, hope you enjoyed SW, and I do feel pooped from the rotation.

WELCOME VILMA!! :) (BTW I play the SIMS2 when I have a chance too! I love the Nightlife expansion pack, but I haven't bought the new one yet. I just can't seem to find time to play it anymore, but maybe I will at night while I'm on vacation.)

Have a great evening everyone,
Pamela
