Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did more EDT training - bis/tris/chest/shoulders + 15 minutes of hardstrikes. I did the EDT training to Cathe's burnsets video - i needed the music and the company. Sweatfest. This EDT stuff is shocking my body. I feel like I am building muscle and shedding fat instantly - I know it's a fat loss program in general and I am not even doing it to the letter.

Henriette - sorry about your physio problems. I wouldn't re-book either. I hope you mend....
Annette - glad to read things worked out

For the rest us - yeah to our workouts!

Siobhan - I am intrigued by your w/o. Could you explain how you did the EDT version of Cathe's burnsets? I want to try it, but not sure how.

Annette - Oh and in my rant this morning I forgot that I wanted to say that I am happy for you that you are getting your classes afterall.

Henriette, gee ....that's not nice that you have yet to get to a PT appointment. I hope this office is better & that you can start your rehab really soon. ((take care)). How is your crocheting going these days?
Ceci - is that where you get as many rounds in as possible to beat the clock? I was doing something similar to this with sandbags & kettlebells before I came by here & started with Cathe. I recall I found it very energizing and proud when I would accomplish the task to beat the clock and would get it accomplished faster with each session! Or is this something entirely different? You have me curious as well.
Annette - very glad for you that you got your Friday class. That's awesome. Oh my, I don't think I could go into a Zumba class 'cold' either. It's a relief that that isn't what they wanted from you! lol.
AquaGirl - great job on all of your Blender and Fit Tower workouts this week! The blenders sure sound interesting!! :)

If I get all of my stuff together today and some adequate space cleared, I hope to get in something. lol. I cannot do my super early morning workouts any longer as we have neighbours below us. I will have to workout like the normals do it now!!

Yes, I really do enjoy Cathe's workout blender, I have "blended" over 170+ workouts....I've gone thru all of them at least once, and am currently
going on Round 2....I have them all listed in a notebook, so sometimes I just open it, flip thru pages, and close my eyes & pick one ! If I haven't
done it the second time, that's the one I do! Looking forward to all the new workouts as well, cause they will go into the blender section as well,
and then I will start blending more.....I enjoy putting them together almost as much as I enjoy doing them! I guess that's "my thing" ! :)
 
Hi gals,

Just home from teaching my class to 5 who were expecting Zumba but they got a high intensity aerobic workout instead. They liked it. So my workout was my own class 50 minutes of aerobics.

Hi ladies,

So I finally had my first sports physio aptmt this afternoon and boy was it painful! He listened to everything I had to say, checked me feet and noted they kind of sink when I stand on one foot and then he checked my legs, ankles etc. It turns out my deep calve muscles are all tense, so he massaged one leg... Leaving me in tears and then taped the foot on the same leg. I was given orders to do a step aerobics workout so I could put more pressure on my legs after the massage and taping and then we can see if I feel any difference between the two legs.

So I picked Cathe's Party Rockin step 2. So much fun, and enough jumps for me to wonder what that will do to my shins. I did it with 2 risers on each side, so higher than Cathe's step. A real sweatfest! By the stretch I had so much sweat running into my eyes and stinging that I had to keep my eyes shut.

I am not sure if there is a major differnce between my two legs. My shins are okay right not, but my calves are tired. The inner calve that got massaged is also sore, but he said he could feel bruised for a few days.

I have a new aptmt in 2 weeks, so until then it's all low impact, but he said there was no reason I couldn't workout as much as I want as long as I modify if there are jumps etc and no running. So I will avoid w/o's with half a zillion jumping jacks or burpees, but I will definitely get back to more w/o... At least as far as I can handle with my busy schedule and bad cold.

Hi ladies, I was able to do Cathe's Cross Train Chest & Back workout this evening, a lot of chest presses and rows!
Henriette, glad you were able to have your appt and hopefully things will start turning for the better now!

Henriette, sounds like there are imbalances below your knees. Best of luck with it ......sounds like you are heading on the right track!! (I will offer my two cents with my own experiences that when your therapist has massaged an area of deep chronic pain, it is wise to let the pain creep to the surface and take it easy. When it is healing it will feel different every day.) :) Sorry you have a cold now. Get better soon okay!
AquaGirl, that's funny as I just loved creating workouts with WB, although I didn't get the time to try them all out! It really is a fun tool.
Annette, great job on your high intensity class!!
