Lannette, I have never used a curved treadmill….interesting…..I just have a regular
treadmill and an incline trainer which is a shorter treadmill but will incline to 30%. My
regular treadmill inclines to 10%. Yay on a water rower, I used to use one at the fitness
center I used to go to and liked it. The rower I have is a Concept 2, Model D. I have had it for years too and really like it. Getting new “toys” is always fun! Whoops, I was
wrong, I didn’t think I had used a curved treadmill, but I looked them up, and yes, again
at the fitness center where I used to go, they did get a curved non-motorized treadmill.
I do remember trying it, and between the two types, I do prefer the “regular” motorized
ones. Everyone is different….maybe you could try one at a store if you have never been on one. Good luck.

Hi ladies,

Today I came to the gym and did Legs, Shoulders and floorwork for abs, legs and glutes for 80 minutes. Hit all but 1 leg machine, that is 6 machines. Then I did the shoulder machine, and then dumbbells for seated clean and press, shoulder press, shruggs, front raise and side laterals. Then floorwork.

Hello Everyone! I’m still in a busy cycle. Hopefully it slows down soon. We’re getting ready for winter.

Today was:
- PV 25 Min Arm Foundation (Maeve M. PBand) 25m
- Stott Pilates Group Stability Chair Workout 38m
- Spine Align, Deep Squats, Arc Extensions 10m

I’m moving just fine but will be glad to have a restorative day tomorrow.

Linda, enjoy your rest day. Thank you for sharing your water rowing and curved TM experiences.

We haven’t committed to a water rower yet but really love the idea of one that feels like a true rowing experience. Waterrowers are made in RI and we’re in NH. They also store in the footprint of a dining chair and we have the perfect place for one in our gym.

When I said we lived in the “woods” I was being literal. Nearest decent sized mall and fitness equipment store is almost 3 hours away.

Our current TM belt is 20”x 65” but, yes it only inclines to 10%. That’s actually not an issue for us.

What intrigues me about curved TMs is that they supposedly feel like trail running. Oh well, it’s not like our TM died. I have time to research more.
