Good Morning Glories!

Gosh! Turkey Day is only one week away. Anyone have any killer workouts planned for Thanksgiving Day?

Today is iTread 13/30 and some LB work and a stretch :)

Good morning Tammy and all that follow..

I can't believe Thanksgiving is one week away! I took off work on TD and the day after but we are not having Thanksgiving dinner for our family until Saturday. DS, DIL and my little pumpkin will be out of town with DIL's family for Thanksgiving. They leave today and will be back the day after Thanksgiving. I plan on painting painting and more painting on TD and the day after.

Today is LIS/shoulders/calves/core... boy that's a mouth-full! Hip hop where I come... I just love that step workout. First time for me for the wt w/o. I've loved them so far. BC/tri/bi is tomorrow. After previewing it, I'm scared of that one! :eek:

Phyllis ~ I did enjoy my rest day! Now get those WO shoes on ;)

Jane ~ I love LIS too...the shoulder work is excellent! BC is a blast, although my bis/tris were talking to me yesterday...can't remember the last time I had bicep DOMS :eek:

Jane, I have the same workout for today! It is my very favorite of the new workouts. I love the hip hop and all of the step, and just wait for the shoulder work!!!!! EEK! Calves are worked THOROUGHLY as well . Have fun and look for doms tomorrow!!!}( :eek:

Tammy: I'm going to the SO's sister's house so I am stacking my week so that cardio fall during the days I am away. I will either pop KPC or KM on my laptop or use her treadmill with Coach Sean.

Phyllis: Still hanging out with Karen, eh? ;)

Jane: I still have not done LIS. After reading your post, maybe I'll put in for cardio this weekend

Becky: I know what you mean about the calves. I can feel the burn right up to my kiester!

Last night I did not my planned workout. It turns out I had a hair appointment, and a girl gots to look good ;-)

So...tonight will be chest, back, shoulders, and some cardio. I'm thinking IMAX 2 but given how hard I've been working the weights I may opt for something a little less ambition. Perhaps Kimberly Spreen (a really fun workout!) or another Low Max premix.

I have a bosu lower body and ab work out on tap for this morning and then it's off to the gym to run.

Hi all,

Today was Amy's Slo Mo Legs Split and coremax 2.

Don't have next week planned out yet so I am not sure where I will be on my workout for Thanksgiving.

Grrr...the bosu idea didn't work out very well. I'm clueless. I need to buy a dvd.

Here's what I did instead:

100 walking lunges (25 regular + 25 pulsing x 2 sets)
50 inner thigh lifts per leg using purple band
20 firewalkers using purple band
50 body weight squats
20 forward pulsing alternating lunges
20 rear alternating lunges
lunge/squat combo 5x per side
75 inner thigh lifts per leg w/o band

I added on 1/2 of 4DSKB core work at the end along with that stretch. I am still going to hit the gym in a bit for that run.

Hi gals,

I did S&H Triceps (minus dips) and Biceps (dumbbell curls and hammer curls only) and some shoulder work with the band and abs off of PSSL&A for my workout today.

Have a great day I am off to drive to Rockville with my son to get his brace looked at.

I am no stranger to the "it hurts to sit on the toilet" DOMS, nor any other kind of DOMS!}(

I know you're tired, Beavs but lift HEAVIER!!!!! ;)
 
Great workouts ladies!! I finished iTread 13/30 and I did SS leg premix and then a nice stretch. I will probably do my usual Thanksgiving pre-gorge usual...SB/SJP 90 min premix...makes me feel less guilty about pigging out :eek: :9

DH just called to let me know he has to go to a dinner meeting...wish he had let me know before I started dinner x( x( x( x( x( x( x( x(
 
Daily Check-in

I relaxed with Stretch Max yesterday morning and had fun with Lower Intensity Step this morning. I can match Cathe’s weights for all the shoulder work now! Yippee! I am getting stronger.

I was surprised when I saw the New York Times article this morning to say the least. I had no idea that my picture would be published and never dreamed that I would see my picture in the style section of the New York Times. Loving Cathe is a big adventure! LOL! I am so glad I fixed my hair and wore all black that morning. LOL!

I am looking forward to enjoying the Kickbox cardio premix in the morning.
