Hi gals,

Today I did 30 minutes of the Insane Abs. It is humid again today. I received my CPR/AED/FirstAid card yesterday so I am one step closer to teaching a class.

Have a great day!

Hi Annette,

Congrats. This is really happening. How nice for you. And yes, it's a bit warm here too. RE: preacher's daughter - I am a practicing catholic and live on resurrection road! can you believe that? Too funny.

Today I did Dasha Libin 7 Day Lean Compound Cardio. It was good and sweaty.

Henriette - you sure are athletic and can do a lot in a day! And......... all those dvds arriving. I remember my first year in the dvd world. I think I spent around $2000!!!!!

Elsie - I never notice grammar errors in your posts. You seems like a writer to me - actually. I hope you get a lot out of your group. I work full-time in case mgmt and work with clients with lengthy histories of addiction. It can be intense just because of the volume of support some people need to get things going in their lives. Great job and great people I work with. I learn a lot from my clients. I do psychotherapy as a private side business. That's very interesting too.

Sandy - I hope you are healing.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi ladies!

Annette - congrats, another step closer. This weekend it's a little quieter so I will try to finally make it to the post office with your thimbles.

Sandy - that must be really tough what you are dealing with but it sounds like you are doing great still getting a different w/o in. There's just no stopping you!

Shiobhan - my dvd collection has been growing for a few years and I try to get most stuff on sale... Only Cathe's is really expensive. I have 17 Cathe dvds on my wishlist but I am not sure when I am ready to spend that much money in one go. Beachbody programs start out expensive but then after a few years they occasionally come on sale for a day or two and then if they're around 20 pounds for a whole program they're well worth the money. I mean even full price they're worth the money, it's just harder for me to justify as I already own so many good dvds that I can't all do anyways.

Today I split my w/o again. Earlier in the day I did Cathe Live Lovin those legs. Very good leg w/o. I think both Cathe's personality and her choice in music make the w/o's more fun.

Earlier this evening I did Mark Lauren's Mobility RX w/o 2. A different kind of stretching moves. The yayog I had tried was with actual exercises, jumps etc and with this w/o I was moaning, groaning and sweating from stretching and holding certain sometimes strange positions and balancing acts. I definitely need to do more of this kind of exercise. The problem is if I only have a short time, then I tend to lean towards HiiT style. Big sweat and tough w/o in a short time, but I think I could really benefit from more of Mark Lauren stuff... I need the stretching and work on my flexibility. I will try to do them as add ons perhaps.

Take care!

Hey friends,
congrats on getting a little closer Annette! Good for you :) Excellent workouts everyone. Henriette & Sandy, sounds like Mark Lauren is good news! I must try it.
I am a practicing catholic and live on resurrection road! can you believe that? Too funny.
That's so funny!! Sounds like you do incredible work for people, Ceci. I can only imagine what a challenge it is. There seems to be so much regarding addictions that we have yet to learn. I see so much misunderstanding and just lack of empathy for the people & their loved ones who suffer. I know that's rather negative. Sorry!

I am still not able to get much done here due to constant construction & demolition banging, headaches, not sleeping etc. This morning I tried to do some yoga strap work to help with my back pain, but the noise is just far too disruptive. I did get in around 10 minutes.Trying to hear a exercise dvd is completely impossible. I may see if I can afford a pass to take some exercise classes for a little while. I do hope to get in a workout finally tonight & will post if I do.
Until then, take care all! Have fun with all your new workouts Henriette!!!
