Today's workouts:

YT-go simpli- Seated Upper Body w/ Med Ball - 20 min. (I really like this lady!)
YT-Workout with Roxanne- 10 min. Kettlebell Arms & Shoulders
YT-Kirsten Allen- 10 min. Country Spin Hiit Workout
Blender Add-on: Killer Legs - 12 min.

Nora, have you every tried any of Kirsten Allen's spin workouts? I liked her and the short one I did.
She has alot on YT.

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did Hardstrikes - all except for the last segment of push-ups. I never tire of this one. The music is so motivating and I love the jumping jacks.

Lannette - I am guessing your changes are diet related to reduce inflammation in your body. WTG
Annette - big workout yesterday - the windows would have been a big enough workout!

Great workouts for everyone yesterday. I always enjoy reading about them and feel motivated by them - so thanks for sharing them.

Today was PHA2. I was able to match Cathe’s weights for everything but Shoulders, bis & tris. It wasn’t because I was exercising fasted.

My muscles just felt tired. I was a little bummed about it until DH reminded me about my wood carrying and stacking. He calculated that I moved between 350 and 400 pounds of split logs. Now I only moved them 7-9 logs at a time but it makes sense that my arms are tired today.

Lannette - I am guessing your changes are diet related to reduce inflammation in your body. WTG

Yes Siobhan, I’m following a very strict medical ketogenic plan. The plan was developed by a MD and shifts over time depending upon my blood glucose and blood ketone readings. Initially it made exercise very challenging but I’m acclimating and it’s getting easier. Thanks for the WTG! :)

Hardstrikes is also one of my favorites.

Annette: good job on the windows! Mine get cleaned Spring and fall and they’re on their own between times.

Yes, I have heard of& tried Kirsten Allen's Spin workouts, she's good. YT spin names you might check out would be Joe Alvalrado, and the Spin Junkie.

Oh my gosh, Lannette, that's alot of logs poundage! My arms would have fallen off !

Hi ladies,

I had a bad night and didn't get to sleep until 2 am. So I slept in and made it to the gym at 2. I just finished a 70 minute weight workout including the back machine, dumbbells for chest, biceps, triceps and shoulders plus the sled but I only did my normal and finished with only 10 plates. Gotta get back to my feet not hurting after for days. Then ended with floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus a stretch.

Nora: Great workout! I need to eventually pull out my LM Combat set.

Annette: Sorry about the poor sleep. I know what an impact that has first hand. I hope you sleep like a baby tonight. You did better than I would have - even if I had a great night’s sleep.

Linda: I probably wouldn’t have carried as much if I’d realized how heavy it was. Wood is something we just deal with. It provides more than half of our heat.

I think it was you who purchased a suspension set. How did you like it? Is it easy to slip a move or two into a workout?

Tomorrow will most likely be a rest day for me. We have two appointments and mixed precipitation on the way.

Yup, it was me…. I got the Gaiam suspension trainer at CVS for under $20.00.! It’s
2 straps that go over a door. Each strap has a nice padded handle and a padded foot
strap. Each one has 4 numbered adjustments. I am still “new” to it, but I have found
several good little workouts on YT that I like, and the Orange Theory Hiit workout on
YT, has a section with several “TRX” exercises, which of course works the same way
with what I got. I would say that once you know the exercises, you could add them
into any workout you were doing. There are many modifications on a lot of the
exercises as well. I looked at the actual TRX system, but unless I really get “rev’d”
up with it, what I have works just fine and surprisingly well made for the price made.
