Hi all,

You are all gonna be so envious... Son no. 2 saw me do Coremax 1 yesterday and he wanted to do it too. Guess what, he does all five levitation holds without any effort at all. My jaw must have dropped to the floor :+ Ofcourse I never told him I could do only two with a lot of effort :)

Anyways, did GS-chest, triceps and shoulders this morning. Did way better then a couple of weeks ago when I did it once before having to return them. The band work was way easier too this time. Plus Coremax 2. Needed an extra pillow for my knees when she does does these roll out thingies in the beginning. Aren't I a whimp.

Will do a 6K tempo run this afternoon.

Have a great day,

Dutchie:)

Good Morning Ladies,

Dutchie: Sounds like you and your son have a healthy competition going on. You'll be doing a dozen levitation holds before too long.

Last evening: Viper from the Terminator CD

Today is a scheduled rest day but I may do an easy or shorter workout as I have a charity event on Saturday and my workout for Saturday will be shorter than usual.

HAve a great day!

Hey Dutchie and Cathy.

Great work outs!

I did Low Max last night...the blast-free version ofcourse.:)

I spent some time writing out some of the thank you notes for my showers and doing 'baby laundry' last night...

Have a great day!

Good Morning everyone!

Today for me will be PS and GS Back, 30 min cardio and abs.

Dutchie: Great workout as always, and what a nice connection you have with your sons. He did all five levitation holds without any effort - that hurts!

Cathy: I have to revisit my terminator DVD soon, I can't remember the last time I did one of those workouts.

Wendy: Great workout! I used to love doing baby laundry - too cute!

Mariangeles: I found some Taebo basic live tapes on ebay, I am looking forward to trying them out when they arrive.

Enjoy your day!

Tammy

Tammy, so far I count myself very lucky. Both my sons are adolescents and I have no problems with them yet, except for the occasional moodiness. I very much appreciate the fact that we have a pretty good relationship. This takes effort from both sides.

Dutchie:)

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday was Clean Max and Laundry Max.

Today my right forearm is no good from that stupid tiller so I know I shouldn't do any upper body workouts today until the forearm feels better.

So I will do Core Max and Super Sets (lower body only of course). I am so disgusted with my legs lately, but I will just keep going, that is all I can do.

Have a great workout/day everyone!!

Charlotte~~

Dutchie - my 7 year old can do those levitation holds no problem, as can my SO. I can FINALLY do them all. I discovered that I have to do them on the bare floor, no mat, no carpet, nothing, and I had to fiddle around with the hand placement a lot before I finally got the darn things. And as for Coremax 2, I did it last night and on those oblique exercises where you hold the ball between your legs and lower it to the side for four counts, I kept falling over sideways and not being able to get back up again. I'm sure I was the picture of grace!

Cathy - Is the Terminator DVD worth getting? Should I add it to my neverending list?

Wendy - awwwwwwwwwwww, baby laundry! Get used to it, you'll be doing LOTS!;)

Tammy - enjoy your Tae Bo! Billy is lots of fun, but warning - he can't count!

I got on the scale this morning to do my monthly weigh-in and the &#%**#% thing hasn't moved an OUNCE. I know it's my eating, but I'm not sure how to change it. I think it's time to call on the educated crowd!

I forgot about those oblique things. I can do them to the right, but going to the left I would fall over too and I couldn't get back up with straight legs :)

Hi ladies,

Today is CM and 60 minutes on the elliptical.

Shelley: The Terminator DVD IS VERY worth it.

Fiddlefit: The ACE test I am aiming to take is in November in Chicago. The studying is going well but I still need to find a CPR class. You would think that working in a hospital it would be easy to find a CPR class, but I havent found one offered here yet. I'll keep hunting, because there has to be one.

Have a great workout everybody.

Morning Everyone,

Well we lost the game last night. It was sooooo cold I was wearing my knit hat, long johns, sweats, a shirt, sweatshirt, and jacket. Also brought my winter gloves for in between innings. The wind was blowing so hard the gusts nearly knocked you over. My knee started acting up because is was cold. Even with all that I did have fun. Didn't get a hit, but almost took the umpires head off. }( My team is now calling me stretch, because no one was able to get the ball all the way to first base so I could catch it standing up. x( I have to give Cathe's w/o credit for me still being able to play.

No w/o last night because I just couldn't get warm, and was resting the knee. But today I feel good and will do my GS Legs and Coremax from yesterday.

Have a great day,

Laurie Mac

I didn't get enough sleep last night, so I was feeling really tired and unmotivated this morning, but I hauled my butt out of bed anyway.

Today I knew I'd be doing only cardio, but had no plan in mind. What did I end up with? Step Works! I had never done that one. It's good because the choreography is easy and the intensity is steady, but doesn't blow you away. My only complaint is the music, much of it is horrible, with a decent song thrown in here and there. It wasn't until later workouts that she seemed to have gotten serious about the music.

Tomorrow I'll pump it up again!

Have a great day.

is it friday yet? :) No DAMN! HEHE morning all.

Laurie mac sorry about your game and knee :(

Wendy-everytime I read one of your posts I keep thinking I should tell you how awesome you are! So there I just did :) I can't wait for the post that says the baby is here!

Dutchie- I am sure your boys are so great because you are raising them well. My son is 23 and is fantastic ( Not biased :) ). I take full credit for it as I raised him by myself for the most part.

Well todays workouts will be ME then cardio later. Probably treadmill. Supersets is on fittv tomorrow so I am going to tivo it. I love that workout. I am curious to what I miss by not having the full version. But until I decide what dvd to buy next fittv will do!

Have a great day everyone!

Terri

Morning all. I decided to wait until tonight to do my workout to give my legs a little extra rest. I'm going to do PUB tonight, than tomorrow I'm off for another run. I hope that Tuesday wasn't just a fluke and I'm going to go out tomorrow morning and only make it 30 seconds.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Katie

Thanks so much Terri! :D You are so sweet!

I can't wait to be able to POST that the baby is here!!!

I'm gonna do my best to post before I leave for the hospital as well.

Good Morning ladies! Does anyone know if you can just ask your cable company to give your Fit TV! :) Ha! I doubt that, but ya never know!

Today is cardio day. I am thinking a walk with the dog, and then I am going to hit Imax Extreme }( }( I am feeling it today! I teach a short Pilates class (40mins) so should feel good and stretched out by the time I get off work...............

I just placed my first bid on Ebay! I am so nervous! Isn't that so much fun! I am thinking of selling some of my old dvds/videos. I have tons of Kathy Smith, Denise Austin, Billy Blanks, and ooodles of yoga and pilates that I will never use again. I am keeping a selected few that each of them made, but I have counted about forty that I could sell! I am hanging on to most of my Firm, because I do think they are classics, but the newer Firm ones are going out the door!

Cathe has totally taken over my library! And I finally got smart and looked at reviews before I started buying. I used to just pick up videos and dvds at the store evertime I went, but none of them kept me interested for very long -

Thank goodness I found Cathe!

Wendy: I am very excited to see your post on having the baby - - will you attach pictures somehow?? Little newborns are soooooooo precious!

Dutchie: Wish I could do those levitation holds without any problems....I don't have Core Max, but I have seen people do them in classes! Wow!

Taibo: I like Billy Blanks, but good warning on the "HE CANNOT COUNT!" Its still fun though :)

Hi good morning all.Today is Low Max and TAEBO. Tammy I am sure you will love your TAEBO workouts. What TAEBO workouts have you ordered? I am agree with Shelley. The Billy's counting is annoying, but I think he is fun and motivating. Have a great day everybody.Tammy post your opinion about the TAEBO workouts please.

Mariángeles a `panish terminator junkie. :) :)

Reba- I placed my first bid a couple days ago! I also am making a list of workout videos and dvd's that I dont do anymore to sell there. I use so much cathe that doing the others just isn't doing it for me. I too am selling my newer firms and the incline bench. So hey everyone wish us luck on our e-baying! Gin Miller and Karen Voight is going to e-bay as well.

Terri

hmmm I have taebos certified best butts nd abs...has anyone ever done that one? I havent used it and maybe I should.

Terri

Reba,

Yeah sure I can post pics, or atleast a link to pics of the baby...it may take a little time but I'll certainly do that! EVERY mom is more than happy to show off her pride and joy!:)

Hi everyone!

This morning I did SuperSets. What a fun 53 minutes!

Jes - the mending is on the way. As well as the two quilts that I'd like to have finished by time Baby is born. Red paint in the hallway, hmmmm?? You never told me you ran a brothel.

Emily - you're not doing the pullovers wrong; they do recruit some tricep muscle.

Foodie Sue - glad you liked HSTA! Have you done the new High Step Challenge? I like it even better than HSTA, but still think both are fun workouts that just fly by.

Reba - I still can't believe you did all that SH within 24 hours. That blows my mind :) I hope your hamstring feels better soon! That's really neat that you have a friend who will workout with you. I applaud your credit card and spending restraint. That stuff does add up really fast, I agree! Have you ever read "Confessions of a Shopaholic?"

Katie - would you seriously consider getting up at 4am to run?? You are Dedicated, if that's the case! I'm glad you've found something new to feel excited about. That's important to keep us motivated. I'm sure your 20 minute run wasn't a fluke. In fact, you will probably do better today, since you're becoming more familiar with how to pace yourself.

Green Woman - congrats on doing the tuck jumps!! Them's is hard work!! The IMAXs are the backbone of a good fitness program, IMO.

Dutchie - that's awesome that your son could do 5 levitation holds! Don't tell him that we're all so very impressed, though. We wouldn't want him to get cocky :)

Shelley - you are obviously gaining muscle faster than you're losing fat. That's the best explanation, IMO :)

Suzanne - LMAO! No CPR classes offered at a hospital? Maybe they figure everyone who works there already knows how to do it (and probably teach it!). Maybe you need to go to a place where people are at risk of sudden cardiac arrest, like a casino, or Jes's brothel. They probably offer the program to their employees. Don't you, Jes? Or maybe phone St. John's Ambulance?

Foodie Sue - I like Step Works! It was my first Cathe workout, and about killed me for the first few months. I like the choreography in that workout quite a lot, especially the second combo.

Laurie Mac - BOOOOOOOO!!! The other team sucks!! You guys rule! What's the name of your team? We need to make up a cheer.

Everyone did some great workouts in the last 24 hours! Those of you doing Terminator workouts are making me jealous. I love those. Good work!

Today is my DDs last day at daycare. She's going to be home with me from now until she starts kindergarten in September. This is going to be a huge change for us, as she's been in daycare since she turned one year old. My pleasant days of quiet, tidy solitude with hours of uninterrupted work time are ending today. It's the end of an era. (But I'm thrilled that she's going to be home with me more).
