Daily check in Thurs May 4

Hey Gang!

It is hot and humid here in Alabama and my allergies are in full swing .. I hate that!! OH well ..

Today going to be Cardio Coach #5 walk/run on the treadmill at lunch .. then tonight teaching an all weight 60 min. shaping class .. concentrating mainly on upper body .. my lower body is still a bit sore from yesterday's workout ..

.. headed to the beach this weekend .. deep sea fishing if the weather cooperates .. yes that means bikini time .. yikes! LOL but looking forward to it none the less...

Hi everyone,

I have plans to do Power Hour today. Was going to do it this morning, but I was itching to resume packing, so I'm going to work on that for the day, and hopefully throw PH in before dinner. We'll see. This is my last full day of uninterrupted packing (if you ignore all the childcare and cooking that I have to do on a typical day at home...).

Laurie - I'm so pleased Faith placed 3rd in the public speaking contest!! Good for her!!

Daily Check-in

I have really been struggling this week. Monday was an extremely stressful day at work, and I had to work late unexpectedly. I did not get to sleep until 2:00 a.m. and woke up exhausted the next morning. I have not been able to sleep through the night this week for some reason even though I am tired. I pushed myself through my Tuesday and Wednesday workouts after work, and it was not pretty. I am a morning person by nature, and I do not have as much energy later in the day. I woke up again this morning feeling completely drained. No workout again this morning. Boot Camp was on my rotation, but I could not face Cathe this morning. I had a lot of congestion in my head. I have been on the edge of depression too, but I am keeping my head above the water. On a more positive note, my eating has been very clean through it all. I am still drinking my water too. And I am working out even though I do not feel like it.

I felt good enough to take on Boot Camp with modifications tonight. I grounded all the airborne jacks, did the kickboxing cycles without weighted gloves, used a 10-inch high step for leg presses, and did cardio gliding while Cathe was doing terminators. I had fun watching her do those though! Tomorrow is my rest day. I am hoping to finish this 3-week rotation with Rhythmic Step on Saturday morning, rest Saturday afternoon, and start something new next week. I was planning to do a challenging 3-week rotation, but I think my body really needs a recovery week until I get caught up on my sleep. I need to start eating more baked potatoes again to kick this depression to the curb as well. I did the second segment of Total Body Stretching last night before I went to bed, and I am planning to do it again tonight.

Evening Ladies,

I’m late posting today? How’s everyone? I’ve decided to re-start my 12 week rotation on Monday, due to a crazy week. Don’t you just hate unplanned rest day, I do, I mean its all good. But I like to get my freak on six days a week :p :9


I did Low Max this morning, MAN! What a workout :9 :9 I loved it; my legs were shaking during a few of the blast routines. I even like the music; it was rocking ;-) ;-)

Saturday - GS Legs or either PLB & core 1
Sunday - P90X Shoulders & Arms & Imax 2 (1-5)
Monday – PLB & 30 minute jog

Do you know that the back of my hamstrings are still sore from PLB. I did this workout on Monday, ouch! I could hardly do the kicks from LM. Feels good tho }(
