Happy St. Patrick's Day fitness folks!!! (My heritage is Scot-Irish, so it's my holiday)

Another early morning (3:30) for me but I slept good the last two nights so I was due to an early morning wakeup again. I feel pretty good though.

Today is shoulders and I have been saving this one until last this week. After a lot of thought, I've decided to go ahead and go Gym Style shoulders but will lower my weight and shave off reps if I feel it is too much. Monday marks the day I can go back to "regular" activity according to my doctor, so I'm only a couple of days away. My shoulder has done fine so far.

I'll also be doing cardio and not sure what. After suggesting the step only premix of C&W to Shelley yesterday, I am leaning towards that. I want to do a run tomorrow, so probably a light cardio today would be best.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!! Have a fabulous Friday CatheLand!!!

Morning Jane and all who follow!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!:)

Jane - be awfully careful with that shoulder!

Last night I did MIC w/u and hi/lo, followed by Imax 3 blast only premix on an 8" step and Imax 3 stretch.

Tonight is Musclemax.

Have a great Friday, everyone!

Good Morning!

I'm up EEEAAARRRLLLYYY today...figures, on a morning when I don't have the little guy I can't sleep!x(

I guess I can't complain about not getting my work out done in the morning now though!LOL :p

So yesterday I only had the time to do my cardio in the morning...10*10*10-what a great w/o! I forgot what a little gem that one is!:D

Today I have to do the ctx tricep work I was supposed to do yesterday plus back which is on tap for today. Then I also need to do legs and abs which are on the schedule daily. I will do these things at home this morning and then it's off to the gym for a 9:30 spin class!}( This will be my first work out there. If for some reason I can't do the spin class, then I am going to hop on a tread mill...

Have a great day!:7

Good Morning Fit Chicks!!!!

:7 :7 :7 :7 TGIF:7 :7 :7 :7 :7

Today I'm going to do IM#1 and some ab work.

Shelley: MM...that one is a gem, the shoulder work is just awesome.

Jane: I'm glad your shoulder is feeling better...have fun with C&W.

Wendy: Have a great time at the gym...spin class sounds fun!

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Morning ladies. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Well, I'm back in business!!! I did Low Max today followed by intervals 6-10 of IMAX 2 and ME abs. My shoulder feels great, so I feel pretty confident that I can do some weights tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day! Don't drink too much green beer!:+

Katie

Good morning, everyone -

Well, this has been a rather disappointing week for me, fitness-wise. By yesterday afternoon I was feeling crappy and did not work out - went to bed at 8:30. Feeling better today, but I still won't work out, because a friend and I are going out tonight. That only makes two days that I've done anything at all. Sigh. Oh well. It's supposed to rain all weekend, so maybe I'll just spend all day exercising tomorrow (oh yeah, sure....).

Y'all have a good weekend!!

Happy St Patricks's Day!!

Be careful eith the shoulder Jane. A good idea to lower the weight amount and reps.

Enjoy Musclemax Shelley..

Early day for me to Wendy...hope you get to try the spin class...:)

Tammy, IMax1 is a great workout.

Katie...glad to hear your shoulder is better.

Shannon...my week hasn't been the best for workouts either...I've been lazy and running out of time. Next week should be better...:+ :7

I am doing a Coremax workout and a 3 mile run.

Have a good day...

Good morning,

How about this? I completely forgot this is St. Pat's day! I don't even have a speck of green on my body today. The only consolation I can use is that I am Italian, but that is still kinda weak..

Anyways, I did MIC warm up and hi/lo,step cool down, Abs from ab hits and stretchmax 1.

Saturday - I may pull out an old SS tape for tomorrow, I just feel the urge to do a high rep/low weight workout!
Sunday - SB and ab hits on the agenda!

Have a great weekend!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!! I did IMAX2 this morning, and now I FEEL GOOD!! My week has worn me out, and I was seriously tempted to sleep in this morning, but I dragged my butt out of bed and gave it a go. And of course, it felt wonderful, and now I feel superb.

Jane - I hope your shoulder holds up well for you. Good luck!

Shelley - Wheeew! I can't imagine doing the IMAX3 blast-only premix! And following the MIC hi/lo to boot! Wow!

Wendy - Where's Joey? Did I miss a post? Have fun in your spin class. I'd love to try one of those some day.

Tammy - Have fun with IMAX1! It's a classic!

Katie - Great to hear that your shoulder has gotten better! Wonderful! And that was quite a tough workout you did!

Shannon - have a good weekend.

Carole - I love your signature today. Happy St. Patty's day to you, too!

Conni - SB is on my agenda for Sunday, too. I love that workout, and look forward to it alot.

Pamela - Was this your first time doing IMAX2?

Have a great day, everyone!
Sandra

Hi ladies! Just a quick post. I'll write more later.

Carol love your signature today :)

Sounds like everyone is quite festive today!

Yesterday was PLB with my son - he is getting ready for track season.

Today is Imax 2.

Do you guys think intensity has enough cardio for a rotation? Seems too low to me.

Thoughts????

I'm baaack!

Well, I made it to the SPIN class! AWESOME!!!:7 :7 :7

Before I went to the gym I did the LL w/u, my mini low weight/high rep leg routine, CTX triceps and back, ME abs and stretch. Thank goodness tomorrow is a REST DAY!:p

For those of you (Sandra) who were wondering...I went up to my SIL's yesterday and spent the day with her. I left Joey there for the weekend. We will be picking him up on Sunday. We are celebrating our anniversary tomorrow night and when we were askin' for a sitter overnight it turned into a LONG weekend deal! SIL ASKED to take him from Friday and then from Thursday!!! I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse! LOL I love the fact that we are lucky enough to have so many willing sitters when we want/need it but at the same time, sometimes he is gone so long that I miss the heck outta him! I'm gonna want to go pick him up by tomorrow! ;(
(end of whining session!:p )

Wendy,

Consider yourself fortunate, and enjoy the brief time you have alone with your hubby!
My son is almost 9, and he has never had a "sitter". We have always had Grandma and Grandpa who are more than willing to take him any time for any length of time. My DH calls it kidnapping, but I am always going to be grateful for not having to go through all that babysitter stuff. :)

Happy anniversary, I hope you have a great time!

Hello and Happy Friday everyone!

Sandra, yes, today was my first time doing IMAX2. It was fun, but I did have to modify interval 9. I couldn't get the step routine, and I couldn't do all the plie jacks. Some of them were just plies for me. :+ Also, my ski jump tucks weren't anywhere near as tucked as Cathe and crew. I did all the ski jumps, but my tucks were a joke. :) Still, it was a fun workout, and it was definitely more doable than IMAX3 (I still like IMAX 3, it's just harder). How can you not love the pina colada song?! Not to mention Foreigner's Cold as Ice. Since tomorrow's a 40 min run, I think I'm going to try CC#%. I know it's not steady state, but so far they've really been fun. Glad you had fun too! I'm really enjoying this rotation. (Of course it helps that I've lost 6.2 lbs so far. ;-))

Happy St. Paddy's Day, and have a great weekend everyone.

Wendy, have a happy anniversary! Enjoy your time alone with your hubby. When DD was little, everyone wanted to take her. We spent many weekends alone. It's not the same with DS. They still want DD, but they only want her which of course I can only allow occasionally if the situation warrants it. DS is a sweetie, but he's a handful, and as a result, our weekends alone are few and far between. Pretty much special occasions only, and one night -- not the weekend.:) Enjoy it and I hope it lasts for you. :)

Pamela

Wendy, I know exactly how you feel. My parents always want to take DD for the night which is really wonderful when DH and I want a night out alone. But it's amazing how much you miss them. It's also funny because whenever we go out and leave her with my parents we find ourselves talking about her and laughing about things she does all night.
DH and I wanted to go to Italy for our anniversary in December, but the trip is for 11 days and I KNOW there is no way I could leave her for that long, even though I know she'd be happy as a clam with Grandma and Grandpa.

It's amazing the impact kids have on our lives!

Katie

Enjoy your anniversary!!!

Katie,

DH and I are planning a vacation this summer...probably for a week. I am sooo dyin' to go on vacation...haven't been on one since we got married 3 years ago but I am gonna miss DS soooooo much! ;( DH always teases me about how much I miss my baby when he's not around but it's only to hide the fact that he misses him sooo much too!;)

I did what I'd planned today. Step only premix from C&W and GS shoulders. The shoulder felt a little tight afterwards but I stretched it very good. It feels okay right now....

Have a great Friday night!
