Good morning!
This morning I did Rhythmic Step. This was a good workout for today, because my quads and hip flexors were quite tired from all those leg presses and hover squats in HSTA yesterday. I like it that RS has relatively few "power" moves. It's just fast, complex choreography, for the most part.
Shelley - Ruh roooooh!!! You might be in for a DOMS surprise tomorrow. I find delayed, delayed onset muscle soreness can sometimes follow a very intense workout.
Jane - an hour long stretch workout? That sounds delicious! And speaking of delicious, what does one cook when the daughter's boyfriend comes over for the first time? Kate's doing very well, thank you for asking! She's growing fast, and her sitting upright is not the precarious business it used to be. This is a good age, because you can put them down anywhere, and they'll still be there when you get back!
Lisa - I'm glad you like MIS. It's a very thorough workout, isn't it?
Kali - have fun with Step Works. I love the second combo.
Pamela - good luck with RS for the first time! The choreography is some of her most complicated. Last night we were going to watch Walk The Line, but I was totally exhausted by time we were ready to watch it, so I went to bed. Congratulations on breaking the 200lb mark!!! I once was where you are now, and I remember how great it felt to see those numbers switch! I'm down almost a pound in two weeks, but I don't have very much to lose, and I have to keep my calorie intake higher because of nursing the baby. Are you doing WW, by the way? We're starting to prepare for our move. I try to pack 3-5 boxes a day. I look forward to this being over and done with!
Tammy - great workout yesterday! ME is infamous for those bicep curls, but I'd rather do them twice than do all those *&!!$ leg presses.
Amy - I hope you had a hoot dancing!
Wendy - how are you feeling today?
Carole - have a great workout, what ever you plan to do!
Cheers,
Sandra
