I can't believe I'm first and it's after 9!

I don't have any DOMS from my GS marathon yesterday! How strange are we that we complain when we're NOT in pain?:p

Today is a 6 mile run and Coremax, either segment 3 or the Tough Abs premix.

Happy Sunday!

Hey Shelley... give it some time, you may feel more later today. It usually hits me anywhere from 24 to 36 hours later. Yes, we want to feel that "good pain" don't we?! }(

Yesterday was a good w/o, L&G, TJ 15 and 20 minute w/o's back to back (I like TJ, definitely different but fun), and abs from ME.

Today I am going to run, it will be later this afternoon as my DD is bringing her new boyfriend up here for dinner and I am cooking up a storm.

I'm also going to do an hour long stretch w/o I taped off of FitTV last night with Michelle LeMay leading. I watched it last night and it really looked good. I like Michelle LeMay, she is a good instructor.

Good morning fit divas

I woke up at 7 am and did MIS. This was my first time doing it and I absolutely loved it ! I plan on doing a stretch later and relaxing ! Have a good workout.

Hi Shells and Jane!

Jane I'm coming to dinner. I don't know what's wrong with me but I feel soooo hungry anymore! Damn! Great workout yesterday!

I think you'll be feeling some pain later today too Shelley. It has a way of sneaking up on us. I'm the same way. Where's the frickin' DOMS?? Way to go on your marathon!

MIS is a good one Lisa. Good job! It's always fun when we really enjoy the workout we're doing!

Today is Step Fit for me which I don't have so I'll do StepWorks and some leg work. Was in the Beyond all day yesterday so I took my rest day. I am officially bridal trained! I had to register 3 right in a row and now it's a piece of cake! It is insane there these days. I thought it would suck and be boring after the Holidays but ooohhhh noooooo! It's worse! But it's good cause time flies by. So I won't complain. Just grateful to have a job I like!

Well have a great day everyone!

Good morning,

Shelley, great job!

Jane, I saw the beginning of that workout last night. My sister and I were watching it. I tried a little of it since it said stretching, but it was too fast for me at that time of night. :) I switched channels during the commercial, and we ended up watching Suze Orman, Jewelry TV, and Iron Chef. Afterwards my sister went home, and I forgot to turn back to watch the end. Let us know how you like it. It did look interesting.

Lisa, glad you enjoyed your workout.

Jane, Kali, and Shelley, enjoy your workouts today.

Today is Rhythmic Step, another first for me. I previewed some of it yesterday, and the steps look a little intricate. I expect I'll be doing lots of rewinding. :)

Hi everyone who follows, and have a great Sunday!
Pamela

Good morning!

This morning I did Rhythmic Step. This was a good workout for today, because my quads and hip flexors were quite tired from all those leg presses and hover squats in HSTA yesterday. I like it that RS has relatively few "power" moves. It's just fast, complex choreography, for the most part.

Shelley - Ruh roooooh!!! You might be in for a DOMS surprise tomorrow. I find delayed, delayed onset muscle soreness can sometimes follow a very intense workout.

Jane - an hour long stretch workout? That sounds delicious! And speaking of delicious, what does one cook when the daughter's boyfriend comes over for the first time? Kate's doing very well, thank you for asking! She's growing fast, and her sitting upright is not the precarious business it used to be. This is a good age, because you can put them down anywhere, and they'll still be there when you get back! :)

Lisa - I'm glad you like MIS. It's a very thorough workout, isn't it?

Kali - have fun with Step Works. I love the second combo.

Pamela - good luck with RS for the first time! The choreography is some of her most complicated. Last night we were going to watch Walk The Line, but I was totally exhausted by time we were ready to watch it, so I went to bed. Congratulations on breaking the 200lb mark!!! I once was where you are now, and I remember how great it felt to see those numbers switch! I'm down almost a pound in two weeks, but I don't have very much to lose, and I have to keep my calorie intake higher because of nursing the baby. Are you doing WW, by the way? We're starting to prepare for our move. I try to pack 3-5 boxes a day. I look forward to this being over and done with!

Tammy - great workout yesterday! ME is infamous for those bicep curls, but I'd rather do them twice than do all those *&!!$ leg presses.

Amy - I hope you had a hoot dancing!

Wendy - how are you feeling today?

Carole - have a great workout, what ever you plan to do!

Cheers,
Sandra

:) :) :) Sandra I loved that age where you could park them and not worry!!! It doesn't last long though does it, one day you park them, and then then next thing you know, all of your pots and pans are out of the cabinet and in the floor!!:)

I am making my homemade lasagne (recipe in the Cathe cookbook), garlic bread, salad and something called apple slaw which uses broccoli slaw, sweet apples, dried cherries, sunflower seeds and a yummy vinegarette using oil, cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Hope he likes it!

Great w/o's everybody. Kali, it sounds like the bridal season is going to be busier than the holiday season at the Beyond!!

Pamela - I didn't watch the whole stretch w/o last night either, I got sleepy about 8:30 and turned off the light and went to bed. I saw enough of the first part of it to see it was going to be good. It came on again at 11 and I set my DVR to tape it. I'll let you know how I like it. I'd like to look for some more w/o's led by Michelle LeMay. I really like her style.

Morning ladies. Well, I had a BAD eating weekend;( . At least Friday and yesterday I did and now I feel terrible!!! Anyway, yesterday I ran out of time to do the SB/SJB premix I had planned, so that will be tomorrow. Instead, yesterday I did SB followed by SJP abs. Then today was supposed to be my rest day, but due to my bad eating I decided to go for a 4 mile run instead. I am very proud of myself though because I have never run 4 miles straight before. I have never been a runner, so this was quite an accomplishment for me. Anyway, today's a new day and I won't let the eating get me too down. Especially since I haven't had a bad eating day in almost 4 weeks.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie

Hi ladies

No DOMS Shelley?....maybe you should increase the weight amount you lift...}(

Jane..hope you have a good run and fun at dinner!

MIS is a good workout Lisa

Kali...I am so glad your job is going well...

Pamela RS can be tricky but it is alot of fun

Sandra...glad you saw my snow pics...wish I would have had my camera for my run today!! Sounds like your rotation is going quite well...

Katie...way to go running 4 miles!!! http://bestsmileys.com/exercising/5.gif[/img]

I had an awesome run. On the short drive we started seeing snow on the ground. When we got to the trail by the Lake where we run, it looked like about 4-6 inches of snow! I was so excited to run in the snow....but you know what? It's kinda like running in the sand...BOY do you work your legs...Had a great 12 mile run, just wished I'd had my camera as it was beautiful...:)

Good Afternoon Fit Chicks!

This morning I did CC#5 and MTV Pilates Mix.

Shelley: Hope you had a great run today...which is VERY impressive after GS Legs!

Jane: I hope I'm not too late for dinner:9:9

Lisa: MIS...an oldie but most definitely a goodie!

Kali: I really enjoy those old step workouts...have fun!

Pamela: Good luck with RS...that and SB are my "fun" workouts:7

Sandra: The leg presses don't bother me, but boy I was practically crying during the bicep work! Have fun w/RS!!

Katie: Congratulations on your 4 mile run ---YAY!!!!:7

Carole: I wish you had your camera too...it sounds awesome.

Enjoy your evening ladies...any Soprano fans out there?

RS is done, and boy was it tricky. With all the rewinding, it took me 1hr and 15min to complete it!

Carole and Katie it sounds like you both had great runs.

Sandra, I love that age. They grow so fast!

Tammy, I just bought CC#s 2-5 last week, and I loved #4. I can't wait til my run day to give cc#5 a try. Hope you had fun.

I took back the Nike HRM (1st of all it was ridiculously expensive - $400, 2nd no continuous readout, 3rd only geared to running, 4th no calorie readout). They have no idea when they'll have another F11 in stock, and I went to two Sports Authorityes stor and called a third, so I went with the F6. It works great, and it has the features I use. Since it was cheaper, I have $63 of store credit which I'll probably use towards new workout clothes.

Enjoy the rest of the day!
Pamela

Pamela: My favorite CC is always the one I just did! CC#5 is killer...the first challenge just about wipes me out everytime!

Good evening everyone...

Tammy - dinner was ready at 12:30, where were you?;) It went great. I really like this new guy. He is a little older than DD, he's 27 and seems very level-headed, hardworker, etc. DD is 23 so four years isn't that big of a deal at this age. I think DD is through dating guys her own age anyway.:p

Carole - I can't believe you have that much snow!! I'm glad you had fun on your run today. It was 82 here today!!!

DD and I went walking for an hour between 2:30 and 3:30 and it was hot!!!

Then I went out there around 4:30 and ran for 45 minutes (just shy of 4 miles, probably about 3.75)....and walked for 10 minute w/u and c/d... I know, I know... I'm slow as Christmas... a little faster when I'm in a race but not much.

I will do that stretch w/o I taped off FitTV in a little bit.

Hope everybody had a great weekend. Can you believe how fast the weekends go!?

Well Jane..it hasn't improved mine too much (I'm also a slow runner)...but it has improved my endurance! I just love all the CC workouts and I couldn't run without Coach Sean urging me on.

I just finished that full body stretch w/o by Michelle LeMay I taped off Fittv. I loved it!! I ran 44 minutes without commericals.

Hi ladies!
Nice to read your posts Carole the run sounds great :) Snow and all. Tammy you sound great as always. Hi Shelly, Sandra, Pamela, Jane, Wendy, Kali, and Katie!

Did C&W today. Major focus has been on ending current job and getting set for the new one. I'm so nervous!

My going away party was really nice 20-25 folks were there. Tomorrow is my last day and lunch with a good friend.

Night everyone!

Hello ladies,

I am checkin' in VERY late today! Had an unplanned rest day yesterday as most of you know...}(

This morning I went and checked out 3 gyms in my area so that ate up what would have been my work out time (pretty ironic, ey? :p )...

Anywhooo, we went to my mom's and were there all afternoon so that DH could help mom's BF do something. We stayed for dinner so I didn't get to do my work out until 8-9 tonight! I wasn't even sure I was going to fit it in at all! I'm happy I had the time though...I was feeling yucky once about 1-2 pm came and my work out wasn't done yet...

I did 30 mins on the rebounder, the same routine of weighted leg work using 8# DB's that I did earlier in the week, ctx biceps and planks/ab work. :)

I have one more gym in my area to look at...then I have to decide (or let my DH decide and THAT could be scarey! LOL)...the one I like the best out of the 3 I saw today happens to be the most expensive one...OFCOURSE!x( I really can't afford to be shelling out the monthly fee they want. :-( My second choice is much more affordable thank goodness. My last choice is ofcourse, the cheapest! I guess "you get what you pay for" really rings true as far as a gym membership goes, ey? Well, we'll see...the gal who was showing me around the 2nd choice told me that lots of health insurances will cover a portion of gym membership fees for it's participants because they consider it PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE!! I am calling our insurance company tomorrow! They could be the answer to my being able to join the gym I liked the best!:7 WISH ME LUCK!!!!

Have a good night ladies!:)
