Morning everyone! And a great morning it is! I just completed Step Blast (and had a Blast) while enjoying the gorgeous winter wonderland that is outside my window. We got dumped on with a ton of snow on Friday night, and it's continuing to come down. The only people driving around town are those that have 4x4's. But all that fresh snow really looks pretty balancing on the long arms of the pine trees out my window. And it's so quiet, as the snow muffles the sounds of the traffic that manages to get through.
I did Step Blast a bit differently today. I love this workout, but it needed refreshment for me, so I programmed my player to do this:
W/u;
combo 1;
full routine & blast 1;
combo 2;
full routine & blast 2;
combo 3;
full routine & blast 3;
c/d & stretch.
This was a lot of fun, and it dispersed the intensity more throughout the workout, instead of keeping it all at the end.
Carole - I love LOVED your mish mosh yesterday! I'm going to use my dvd/vhs combo player to take those three dvd workouts and record them into that workout onto a vhs tape. I will call it my Carole-Cathe-workout.
Jane - what's a hushpuppie?
Dutchie - lightly warm up your calf a bit, do some thorough calf stretches, then walk around a bit and see how it feels. If you can't tolerate the stretching, then I say don't do the run. I hope it's just a sore muscle, and not anything serious.
Wendy - have fun trying out the running!
Kali - tough workout you have planned! Enjoy!
Pamela - I find that I like SM3 more each time I do it. I think I'm getting better with figuring out how to use the band to enhance the stretching. We have SuperSets on tap for tomorrow - my second favourite total body weight workout (PP is my favourite!). We're into the home stretch with this rotation! It's been a fun one!
Hello to the rest of the gang! Have a great Sunday!
