QOTD: Do you have a favourite drink?
My fave hot drink is Masala Chai (tea) served really hot. I've been drinking it almost every evening lately. My fave alcohol drink is straight up Whiskey (prefer single malt) and ginger ale at room temperature, even though I seldom have a drink. Was thinking of this because the holidays are coming up & I like to have some spirits and sherry on hand for visitors. lol.

Hi Elsie and all who follow. Favorite drink? Honestly 97% of what I drink is water. Boring I know. I do enjoy a soda now and then and I really have a thing for Peach tea. I also like chai tea Elsie. Today's workout was Paul Katami's 4X4X2. I love him. So good! I'll also try to check back later.
 
Hi Everyone,

I have been trying some workouts that allow me to be on my back, butt, seated or standing on one foot for short periods of time. I've done mainly cathe this week and i read online to try some standing upper body drills so that's what i did today on one foot + the heel of my other foot with lots of rest. I will be back sitting the rest of the day :(

I could not do anything, of course for a few days as the pain was just too much - could not get up or down. everyday is getting better but the sprained ligaments are causing me the most trouble - just can't put pressure on that foot still. oh well.

Favourite drink is... water! then coffee - love my morning coffee. for alcohol I can take an expensive red wine or a good european beer like moretti, peroni, stella etc..

i hope to try more upper body tomorrow - seated but at least doing something brief to keep the habit up.

i hope you have all been having a good week.
 
Glad you are on the "healing" path, Ceci! Elsie, I am coming to your place for the holiday spirits! :):)

Fav drink is Diet Pepsi and morning coffee, I drink water as well, although I know not as much as I should.
Alcoholic would be a pina colata or banana daiquiri, although I haven't had anything alcoholic for years!!
 
Hi gals,

Today I taught my aerobic circuit workout to 9 ladies for an hour . Then I did 41 minutes of weight work hitting biceps and triceps hard.

No taste, so all drinks are the same to me. So I would have to say water.

I did Party Rockin' Step on a 6" riser, so definitely doing better!

My favorite drink is coffee. I do like the Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks with nonfat milk. Not every day though, just occasionally. I do make nonfat, sugar free chocolate iced coffee at home sometimes too.
 
Hi ladies,

Still not feeling great today so all I have managed was the 5min Shaun T leg workout that I did the other day and lots of rest. Hope to either go into labor soon or feel some what better so that I can workout again.

Favorite drink - Milk and second favorite is water.

Favorite hot drink - English tea, like a real cup of builders brew, so strong tea with milk, no sugar for me. Unfortunately during pregnancy I am only allowed 2 cups per day so it's been pretty tough. I love it so much that I actually get the tea bags shipped over from the U.K. Lipton or Pickwick (the most popular tea brand in NL) just doesn't make a strong enough cup of tea for me.

For soft drinks I like Cherry Coke, Dr Pepper and Peach Ice tea... but I limit those to special treats on weekends or special occasions.

Hi girls, taking a rest day today, top of my left foot is hurting, don't know what I did....but figured I should cool it,
It was hurting last night too, but I went ahead & did a workout..probably shouldn't have.

Anyway, have a good night, it's been an extremely rough week at work...and I'm just plain tired....had to take over
Someone's work as they were off...not something I do on a normal basis, plus training someone to do that too, and
Trying to keep up with my normal workload and it's been very stressful to say the least!
 
Hey girls .....sounds like a very busy day for us all.
Ceci, sprained ligaments do not sound fun at all. I'm so sorry that you're having all this pain. Please take it easy. Have you tried any of Hasfit's Upper Body? I think they're awesome. He is quite knowledgeable on things like alignment, PT etc.
Of course, Linda, you are welcome anytime!! I haven't a clue on how to make dacquiris though. Sorry you have been having an extra stressful week. Take care of yourself & do not promise too much!! ;)

Oh, Henriette, sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling great today. Be gentle with yourself. Omg, I LOVE strong black English tea too. I basically grew up on PG Tips. I don't have it much anymore cause it is pricey here in the West Coast.

My w-o was a 30 min KickBox cardio fr youtube ( Joanna Soh) and 10 min Calf routine fr youtube (Ballet 24), which made for a great not too too strenuous workout for me. :)
