I did Step Heaven this morning.

Jane - wow, quite the workout yesterday! Are you feeling it this morning?

Debbie - IM3 and ME in the same day? That would really toast the legs!

Wendy - did Joey sleep through the night again last night?

Conni - is it just me, or are Christi's floor aerobics even trickier wrt choreography than her step workouts? How long did it take you to pick up the footwork on Totally Hot Cardio? I own the workout, but never use it because I don't have patience for the learning curve.

Laurie Mac - so how did opening night go? Did it go off without a hitch?

Shelley - will you be using your HR monitor tonight, and what height of step will you be using?

Carole - wow! That's hot! Try not to wilt away during the tough workout you've got planned.

Sherry - I love swimming. Enjoy your 30 laps!

Is anyone intending to order the 3 new dvds? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I will probably pass. The stretching dvd might be nice, but I can't see myself using the other two. I barely ever use the BS/BF workouts, which I specifically bought for pregnancy. But the choreo is broken down toooo much for my tastes. I prefer to just modify her more advanced workouts.

Sandra - I don't have my HRM yet, but I've applied for a government research grant, so as soon as I get the HRM and the money, I'll be doing an extensive step aerobics research project for my doctoral thesis.;)

I'm not planning on getting the new DVDs either. I'll bide my time until she makes a new series for us hardcore freaks. You know... those of us who live for DOMS and sing songs of praise to Bootcamp:p
 
Hey everyone! Seems like everyones been busy this morning with their great w/o (or recovering from a great one yesterday;-) ). Well this morning I took a spinning class at my gym. Im in college and can go to our schools gym for free so I will take advantage of it some days like today. Later on this afternoon will be CTK Kickbox with KM Leg Drills. And then tonight I will be hanging out with my gal pals...gotta love girl time :* Well have a wonderful day chicas!

Morning all! I did IMAX 2 this morning. I was supposed to do BC, but I'm still a little fried from ME yesterday. So, I will do BC on Wednesday (when I normally do IMAX 2). Lost another pound as of this morning and another % of body fat. Woo Hoo!!!

Hi all, today I did PUB chest, back and shoulders, then for my freestyle workout for legs ( which I almost didn't do just because it was legs again,sigh) I did PLB calves and floorwork.

Have to run and pick up my middle son from tennis camp.:)

Hey. My work out is done. Here's what I ended up doing for my cardio plus abs today:

CTX Kickbox w/u & cardio only
Cardio Kicks Kicks & Punches only
CTX All Step Abs
CTX Kickbox stretch

I tried to get the readings off my HRM but AGAIN I must done something wrong! This is REALLY annoying me now! x( :(

Off to feed the little guy and then myself!:9

Carole , is that really by you?? It's BEAUTIFUL!! I wanna go too!!!:)

I just finally got in my cardio. Did s&h bi's/ tri's/abs earlier and just did the step portion of TimeSaver#2 and segments 2 & 3 from Stepworks. Not super challenging, but fun and just what I needed after another night of not enough sleep!!
Now I'm off to make a protein shake!

Monday's 1/2 over.......YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!:D

Sandra,

I agree that Christi's hi/lo is much harder choreographically than her step. I think she puts in so many variables with hi/lo that you just cannot do with a step.

I think you would catch on to this one quickly, it is one of her "easiest" tapes, if you pardon the use of the term. There is also a movemaster at the end that is a wonderful teaching tool for you. Jump into it, you will probably surprise yourself!

I am so happy that I had to post I got that in before I have to go out in the field and QA my employees today. I will get legs and glutes done before dinner I am hoping:)

Wow, what a busy Monday, I'm still picking my jaw off of the desk here after reading about Cathe's new DVD's. Today was BodyPump with my lunchtime members. Tonight we launch new BodyFlow choreography so it's teaching with another instructor which is always FUN!

Wish me luck, it always feels like a test when we do the new stuff:)

Carole, I'll meet you all at Lake Shasta later tonight and tell you all about it:p It looks sooo beautiful.

Today I did Imax 2 and I will probably go for a walk with my little one tonight. I am working on eating better also.

Wow, busy weekend and Monday!

Saturday morning I got up early and did the Gauntlet. Then I had this sort of virus thing all day, muscle and joint aches, exhausted and zero appetite. I slept 3 hours in the afternoon. My DH had it the day before--it was very weird.

Sunday I was still feeling a little off, so I took a yoga class at the gym. This morning I did C&W. Such a fun workout. I think I'm gonna bring that DVD cover (C&W/IMAX 2) to get autographed!

Edited to add: I also won't be purchasing the new DVDs. I'm happy for Cathe, but I don't have any of the beg/int, and use the classics and CTX cardio sections for that when I need it.

I do wish you luck with the new Bodyflow choreography Laurie. Sounds exciting...:)...I'd be happy to meet you at the lake later...it is really beautiful and yesterday was a good day to take some pics...:)...Carole
 
Rest day for me but I did my stretching as usual with StretchMax #2.

I wasn't really sore today after my PUB/PLB w/o yesterday but I could tell when I started my stretch w/o, my hamstrings and quads were a little tight.
