Daily Check-in, Monday, April 20, 2026

Good Morning ladies. Hope this finds everyone ok! Indeed, the weather is crazy! Day before yesterday,
it was still in the upper 80's here, didn't need a/c yesterday because it was in the 60's and this AM it's like
the lower 30's!!!! I had to flip the furnace on.......again.....! Geez! But the guy on the radio just now said
by Thursday, it will be back in the 80's!!!!!!

Annette, good luck at the doc!

Today's workouts:

LMR2E: Low Impact Cardio Fusion- dvd mix- 22 min.
KCM-Power Split dvd- "Boxing Finisher with egg wts and stretch" - 12 min.
STS 1- Ab Circuits- #6- Med Ball Abs- 10 min.

That's it! Have a good day all!

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did a 2.0 warm-up and then a 35 minute C&E core workout.

Linda - I hear you about the weather. We've had sleet here on and off for a few days + warm temps as well. Great long workout today!
Annette - Thanks for filling in the details. It just seemed like you went through a health crisis and then were back to normal posting your workouts. I'm a Social Worker - I need the details, the reactions, the worries - else I'm stuck in the unknown asking wha' happened? I'm glad you're feeling better!!!
Big waves to Nicki and Nora

Have a great day everyone.

LOL! Siobhan, my "Workouts " were pretty lame for me. Not much movement or anything.

I ended up needing to change my cardiology follow up (basically to see how my heart is doing and get clearance to actually exercise more to my normal), and it is now Wednesday!!! So hopefully on Wednesday I will know more about what level of exercise I can be cleared to do.

I went up and down the steps 4 times this morning and 1 time I needed to sit and let my pulse come back down (I think by the 3rd time). I just had my bloodwork drawn.

As much as this was a very serious medical condition I tend to bounce back from things very fast. I love the concern being shown and the prayers being said.

Love you all!!

Ok, now I am gonna cry...

Hi ladies,

Today I have done 30 minutes of a Method Pilates workout and the Taebo Express Kicks workout which is 11 minutes.

Probably will do floorwork later. I took it easy especially on the pilates since it has been over 2 years since I had done it.

Blood work is coming back so so, so far.

Nice workout, Siobhan, with a STS 2 warm-up and then a 35 minute C&E core workout.

Creative workout, Annette with 30 minutes of a Method Pilates workout and the Taebo Express Kicks workout - 11 minutes. Hoping all your appointments turn out positive!

Pilates & Yoga aren’t my “cups of tea” (so to speak) but I do try to get a little of both
from time to time:)

Linda, when you need light and no impact Method Pilates Cardio workout fits the bill. I am not a yoga girl but occasional pilates is ok. Don't expect to burn a whole heap of calories doing it.

Hello ladies:)

Linda- Nice mix of workouts today with:

LMR2E: Low Impact Cardio Fusion- dvd mix- 22 min.- Fun Premix- good stuff!
KCM-Power Split dvd- "Boxing Finisher with egg wts and stretch" - 12 min.
STS 1- Ab Circuits- #6- Med Ball Abs- 10 min.

Great job on all your workouts today WTG & high fives!
Enjoy your evening;)

Siobhan- Great job on today's fun workouts with:

STS- 2.0 warm-up
C&E Core workout= 35 Min - I like doing core workouts. No doubt this was both fun and challenging.
WTG & high fives! Well done:)

Enjoy your evening;)

Annette- Nicely done on your workout today with:

30 minutes of a Method Pilates workout= 30 Min
Taebo Express Kicks workout= 11 minutes
Add on 13 minutes of floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus light shoulder work w/3 pound dumbbells.

Those are good choices for light to no impact workouts. I like to have those types on hand in case of injury recovery type of workouts as well. Like you I'm not much of a yoga girl either, it's not what I prefer to do but sometimes its nice to reach for them. Hang in there I pray the doctor will have good news for you and considers changing workout intensity and limits. Most of all you be well! You are beloved Cathelete and we got your back with prayers. V.I.C.- Very Important Cathlete, and we care. Have a blessed evening;)

Nicki- I'm still sending you healing prayers and well wishes. I'm sure the surgery went well and now you have to follow doctors orders just now. Hang in there, rest and feel better. Now its not a matter of hoping there is
a solution regarding your leg pain. You had the surgery to fix that now it's just a matter of time to heal and when doctor allows to begin physical therapy to get you on your way to move freely & without pain. Blessings & positive thinking;)

Here's today's workouts:

LITE- PHA 2- Timesaver #4- 3 Segments Only - 1A + 1B+ 2B = 36 Min
Virtual Active- Indoor Cycling World Tour--Guided Tour- Ride 1 Oregon= 36 Min
STS 2 - Abs/Core workouts- Standing Abs = 11 Min

Good evening & blessings ladies;)

Nora
