THat's odd, I had to log in again. And ofcourse I didn't know my password and had to do a search on my computer first.

Carole, you are still the only one with bionic legs: I'm not the one going of on a high mileage run after a legs w/o:)

I actually should start a new 4-week rotation, but I expect the HC series to arrive within 15 days, so I kind of do a spur of the moment thing the coming weeks. Except running ofcourse.

Today it was the elliptical for cardio: 30 minutes forward and 10mintes backward, then CTX UB and KPC abs. We're supposed to do a 6K run about 15 minutes ago, but son no. 1 hasn't come home yet.... The weather is really bad (rain, wind), so I suspect he's hiding at a friend's house coming home late enough to know I'll be preparing dinner:) He's done it before:) Which means I'll be doing L&G after dinner and the run tomorrow. Weather forecast promises slightly better weather:)

This morning I did Slow and Heavy:Legs only and add the second workout of Tamilee'I want those ABS.

if we have no February rotation,I'll make the Slow and Heavy rotation this month. (or till I'll receive Hardcore series).

Morning all! This morning was IMAX 2. I was not planning on doing IMAX 2 because I had a busy weekend and felt a little tired this morning, but once I was in my workout clothes it justed started calling to me, so I thought "why not?". I'm glad I did because it felt great!

Dutchie - That sounds like quite a workout! Good job!

Good morning! DD is now home from daycare on Mondays and Fridays, so I don't have as much time for internet chatting. Hopefully I can pop on a bit later and talk a bit more.

This morning I did Step Blast and BC core premix. Awesome workout. I feel splendid now!

I had Chinese food for supper on Saturday night, and felt sooooo sick on Sunday morning. The combination of morning sickness, msg overdose, and possible onset of a cold is pretty deadly. Ugh! So far the cold seems to be at bay, but there are niggling signs that I'm either on the verge of getting it, or have it at a very low level. I hope it's the latter; it's frustrating having a cold and not being able to take medication so you can breathe/sleep at night.

Wendybdh - I hope your cold is getting better!

Dutchie - thanks for the report! Glad you were able to have a nice night out. Now how does one go about giving someone the brush off? Do you just ignore their calls, or actually tell them that you aren't interested?

Charlotte - I didn't realize your DD was in hospital! What was the illness that she actually contracted? Pneumonia? I'm soooo glad that she's back home again!

I have a dreaded feeling that the HC series is going to land on my door on exactly the day that my parents also arrive. They might actually have to sit on my shelf for an extra week before I even get a chance to preview them. Love the covers!

Good morning, ladies:

I am logging off momentarily to do L&G (fave workout of all time). I am also going to do the ab section of either KPC or PUB afterwards. My goals this month are to increase muscle and focus on core strength. Any suggestions as to a core rotation would be very much appreciated.

Hi all, I did PUB warm up and chest, then did CTX chest, and the cardio conditioning premix off of KPC.

I am experiencing big toe pain and I don't quite know what it is. It hurts to wear shoes and to walk. Barefoot is pretty good. It hurts in the joint and on top of the toe. To bend the toe back hurts as in walking. Could I have broken or sprained it without knowing it?:+ :-(

I am considering calling the doctor to see if I can have it looked at. It looks normal, no swelling or discoloration that I can see.

Hey gals! i am startint to feel a little better so this will be my last "no cardio" day. i am starting the fat loss/defenition rotation tomorrow. i may try to do a little treadmill today.

Sandra: when are your parents coming? they are staying for a week? i know they live far away and you don't see them often, so you must be excited! i bet dd is too! are you going to be cooking alot?

Hi Sandra,

If this was a total stranger I'd met in the supermarket, I would tell the guy in no uncertain terms, but politely, that I wasn't interested.

Howwever, this guy is a friend of my PT, so it's a little trickier. First off, if he asks again, ofcourse I won't go to the ballet, and I will ask him whether he invited me to accompany him as a friend or if he maybe had more romantic motives. Asking will probably get my opinion across, if not I will have to clarify my question, won't I.

Now isn't that a nice way of turning soemone down? Or should I be more diplomatic?

On the other hand I have the problem of speaking before thinking.... so sometimes I can hear myself say things that defintely warrants an apology x( It's not like I am out to hurt people's feelings on purpose, but I am so darn honest, it gets in the way of my good intentions. This usually doesn't happen when I post, cause I have to think about what I write:)

I hope you don't mind me following your blind date info with interest. :) I have had a lot of these (match.com is not what it's cracked up to be; you meet a lot of people, but it is really hard to tell if you have that elusive chemistry just from email and photos)... I have found that when a guy is interested in me and I'm not interested in him, it is best to just say so. I have had a few experiences where they agree to be just "friends," but they are secretly hoping for more, so it gets icky fast. :)

Anyway, good luck and I hope it works out!

PS: Aila, I am also trying to stop eating out more than once a week and am also starting to bring both breakfast and lunch to work. I figure if I am not motivated by clean eating, maybe the cash saved will work. :7

If I'd mind, I wouldn't be posting all the details:) And you are right, it's best to be honest. But I've also found that if it's someone who's known to your circle of friends, you better be very careful what you say and how you say it. Men you reject can have a not so nice respons, not in your face, but it comes back through mutual friends.

Hello all:

A quick note here from work. Today I did the Timesaver #2 workout. I didn't find it too challenging, and it is only like 39 minutes until the credits, but probably what I needed since I overslept a little and did MIS yesterday. But looks like I got the better of my cold, instead of the other way around!

Next 2 days I have 6 am meetings, so I'll be working out after work. That is good--I can do longer workouts!

I just did Gilad Fat Burning Workout and then I will be doing some leg toning with some women from the 80's in bright crayon suits later. LOL! Cathe brutalized my upper body a few days ago and I think my muscles still need a rest until tomorrow. I'm not as advanced yet as some of you ladies, but I am getting there~

Hi Ladies.

Hope everyone's doing well.

I have been given a couple of suggestions on what might help the pain I am experiencing. I am going to try them tonight after work. With any luck, they will work and I will be able to begin my CTX rotation. If not, I am going to attempt CTX's upper body split by itself this evening. I am thinking/hoping this will not aggravate my "injury".

All-Step for me today - my first time. Nice workout in a short amount time.

Fiddlefit - BC core premix sounds interesting. I will have to remember to try that one. I really have to try more premixes as a matter of fact. Anyway, thanks for the heads up!

Marie - any core rotation simply must utilize the Intensity Series extensively, IMO. Cathy posted an ab marathon a long time ago, and it's a good one: PUB; KPC; ME. Your hip flexors will be feeling it, too!! And the BootCamp Core Premix is a gold nugget of a core workout.

Dutchie - I gotta say that this is the part of the dating scene that I'm very happy I don't have to do. Ugh!

Annette - could it be gout?? I don't know much about gout, except that people get sudden onset of pain in their big toe. You'd think you would know if you hurt your toe enough to actually break it?

Carla K, Connie & Aila - welcome to the daily check-in! I'm hoping Cathe posts a February HardCore rotation!

Lisa - what "old" rotation have you been following? One you made yourself, one of Cathe's, or some other?

Jes - where is that rotation posted? I'm curious and would love to take a peek at it. Yup, The Parents are arriving a week from Wednesday, and staying until the next Tuesday. Not long enough. My dad gets antsy if he stays in other peoples' homes very long. Must be a male peeing-in-the-corners kind of thing. I'll cook some, but we'll also eat out a bit. I'm going to cook a full turkey dinner on the weekend. I'm already dying to eat it.

Foodie Sue - 6am meetings??? Who in the world wants to have a meeting at that time of the day?? Uh...enjoy?

Wendymin - I hope you get through that pain real quick! How did your baby shopping go?

Tammy - BC Core premix is what I use the most from that dvd. A lot of people really like the BC cardio premix, too. Heck, that whole workout is just terrific as-is, or in segments. It took me a long time to begin exploring premixes, but once I did, I've really come to love them.
