Daily Check-in - Monday 3-20

Good morning fitness folks...

Yesterday I took a rest day and it felt good.

Today I am going to finish up my week of one body part per day and do a circuit. This will hit all muscle groups twice in the week.

I am going to do the Bonus Combo off the BC/ME DVD. I combines these two workouts. I did a quick preview of it and it look really good. It has the BC cardios and supplements the BC weight work with segments off ME, runs about 65 minutes I believe.

Has anyone else done this one?

I believe abs are included on this but I may add on the MTV Pilates Mix.

Rest day for me today and ofcourse I'm up with the chickens when I don't need to be. lol

I was sooo tired last night. I got in bed a little after 10 and was out like a light in no time! This is why I am up early this morning...

It's been a while Jane, but I did that BC/ME premix and enjoyed it!:)

Tammy, enjoy KPC today.

Today is supersets, but I think I might also add a short run -- maybe CC#3 (I like the sprints :)). Although I stayed within my target points, yesterday I ate a Wendy's Kid's meal hamburger (my son's -- he asked for it, but didn't want it), and I felt really icky. (Don't get me wrong, I was hungry, and it tasted good, but it had my stomach hurting before I even got to the last bite.) I'll just feel better knowing I did something extra to get rid of it.

Sandra, it's only Monday, and I'm already nervous about BC on Saturday! :D

Good morning,

Busy weekend, but had some good workouts.


Saturday - SS Tear it Up, has it's benefits, and I like working with the lighter weights.

Sunday - SB and Ab hits.

Today - GS CT and Coremax 3.

I think I am going to cut back on the heavy weights, I have been having some shoulder problems, and I just want to lean out a bit before summer hits.

Hi, everyone. I think I'll join Tigger on a rest day. I have to get my hair cut and do some grocery shopping, so I won't have time for a workout anyhow. Just as well - I tried to do a one-legged squat, using the bar as support, just to see if I could. I can't. Pulled something on the top of my knee. Stupid me!!! It isn't too bad though, so maybe it'll be okay tomorrow for a workout.

Jane - you'll have to tell me how the BC/ME premix is. I haven't tried it yet.

Tigger - enjoy that rest day!!

Tammy - I love KPC. Have fun!

Pamela - Sounds like a good workout, with both weights and cardio.

Connie - Is this the GS with all those push ups? Good luck!

Sandra..sounds like a fun way to do Stepblast! My Mish mosh was fun...still have a bit of DOMS in my arms...:)...I never thought about recording it like that?? Good idea...

Wendy...you did great for your first run!! Enjoy your rest day

Have fun with KPC Tammy...love the abs in that workout.

Pamela...I think you are ready for BC...Supersets is a fun workout!

Conni...might be a good idea to lighten up on the weights if your shoulder is tweaked...:)

Shannon..one legged squats can be tricky. I hope your knee will fee LOTS better tomorrow..

I am starting another P90X style rotation, but using Cathe and some other subs. Today is S&H Chest & Back, abs and a 3 mile run.

Morning ladies. Today for me was IMAX followed by C&W abs. I've kind of been straying a little bit from the January rotation, but still following it's basic outline.

Yeah Shannon, those pushups that never end! I alternate sets on my toes and on my knees, and by the end of the chest segment I am shaking like a leaf, so I guess that works for me!

Now you all have me thinking about adding the ME/BC combo in this week also!

Would you consider this a solid endurance/cardio workout?
 
Hi Everyone!

No workouts this weekend or Friday due to a migraine.
But I'm back today!!:D

This morning I did Timesaver#1 , step and chest (left out triceps) and 30 min. on the bike.

Tomorrow we are expecting a snowstorm!!!! Isn't this the 1st day of spring???? :p

Just reporting in before I go to bed at 6 p.m.!!!

No workout today. The BC/ME bonus combo will have to get done tomorrow hopefully. TTOM, started overnight and today has gone from bad to worse, one of those months!!! Aching all over, feels like I weigh 500 lbs., and I'm going to bed..... I hope tomorrow is better.
