Gooood Morning Everyone,

After a serious family meeting with my kids yesterday about their behaviour lately things have cleared up and everyone is in a better mood. We all promised to try more and behave better (that includes myself). School starts next week, I think they need it.

Had a "bad" run this morning. Had to jump of the tread mill three times: once to wake one of the kids to take Spike out on a walk, once again to remind him and a third time for a pit stop. I then gave up and moved on to ME UB split. I hadn't done this one since january according to my log, and man, I forgot how tough it can be. I had to give up on at least two exercises. I feel like such a whimp. And it just goes to show there's a big difference between strength and endurance.

Good morning Dutchie and fitness folks to follow...

Yesterday was HSC and it was nothing short of a challenge. After my "healthy eating plan" took a nosedive the Friday and Saturday, it was rough, to say the least, to get through this workout.

Today I'll do a steady state cardio to burn the fat I'm sure I've taken on due to my momentarily lapse in judgement. I know my abs are in there somewhere!! Since I lightened up on any weight work, I think I'll do some lower body work to burn even more calories.

Good Morning Everyone (even though it's Monday!:-( )

Yesterday I walked "death hill" with DH, - ALWAYS a heart pounding workout. Then I went with him (he has a small landscaping business) and cut grass and trimmed bushes, etc... That was 3 hours of yard work in the hot sun!
Today I am going to do one of the High Step workouts. I haven't done those in a long time and never remember which is my favorite though, so I'm going to do eeny, meeny, miny, moe, and hope I am happy with my choice!!:+ Also , I will cut our grass today, & that is one hour of pushing, and laundrymax......so happy workout to me!!:p }(

Hang in there Dutchie, tomorrow is another day!!

Good Morning Dutchie and Jane,
I am having a hard time waking up this morning:( I can usually hop out of bed no problem. I think I could use another 2 hrs of sleep.

Yesterday morning: GymStyle biceps (progressive overload) plus warmup and stretch.

Late yetserday afternoon: Gym Style Back with warmup and stretch followed by my freestyle lower body workout< Kari Anderson Dance works (standing and floor lower body exercises and stretch only, plus a few Pilates exercises for legs and glutes.

Tonight: Steady state cardion and lower body work, probably a few exercises from standing PLB and some floor work.

I'm planning on CTX: UpperBodySplit and some cardio, don't know what yet.

Dutchie: Don't you wish you could just start some days over? I have had a lot of those days lately.

Jane: I'm feeling the same way this morning, as you know we were on the same 'diet' this weekend. Back on track today...deal?

Cathy: I had a hard time getting up this morning too...but then again, I have a hard time getting up every morning!

Becky: Enjoy your high step workout. I only have HSC and I really like that one.

Jane: I need to p/u a highstep w/o one of these days. Everyone seems to love them!

Today is a circuit w/o (BC?), extra cardio and abs for me.

Hi Wendy, yes sometimes I just have to sit them down and have a "grown up" discussion with them. Their bad behaviour lately has several causes: their dad didn't pick them up for their 3-week Summer vacation, I started work again and they are on their own all day and with no supervision they can do as they please. When I get home I'm pulling the reigns and they don't like it. Who can blame them :)? And they truly are bored... they need to go back to school.

But although I understand where it's all coming from, I can't let it slide can I?

Sometimes I wish they were little babies again: they just cry and sleep and cry...

Today will be gymstyle chest only and ME abs. Will do this after work today. Must do as soon as I hit the door!

Yes, Dutchie...you gotta enforce the rules wether they like it or not! I remember those days...that was my biggest problem during the summers back then...oh how I wish I was a kid again, don't you? ;) :)
 
Good Morning!
It is a howling morning here. We are in the hurricane. Not as bad as New Orleans, but we are in it. I pray so hard for those people. This is such a bad storm, Ladies. I can't even describe it to you. Just please continue to pray.

Well, yesterdday I did a cardio circuit workout. Reverse crunch 4 sets of 50. Squat thrusts 4 sets of 20. Balance crunch 4 sets of 30. Treadmill 4 sets of 5 minutes. Push ups 4 sets of 10. Crunches 4 sets of 30. Mountain Climbers 4 sets of 50. I did every body part a set to failure. I also walked on the treadmill for 35 in the afternoon.

Today I did Cardio & Weights 200 jumping jacks and 40 push ups and abs. Later I will walk on the treadmill.

I am stuck in the house today, so I don't know what I am going to do today! Probably bug my Hubby!! That's always fun! :p
 
good morning all!

I took a much needed break after the 5am fitness fiesta on Friday. That seriously killed me. My abs never hurt so much before. I'm done with that many crunches in one sitting.

Today will be my own mish mosh: KPC high intensity drills & the punching combos, kickmax bootcamp challenge, BC cardio only & I'm thinking ME. Will I be around to check in later??? :)

The wind is undescribable! The beaches are being totally destroyed. It hasn't even come in yet. This storm is huge!! Yes, we will definitely stay safe! We are all boarded up.

I have an uncle on the west coast of FLA. I hope he is staying safe too. I emailed him a few minutes ago...
 
Good morning to everyone, and I hope you and yours are safe out of Katrina's way!

I am finishing up August's rotation with some extended workouts and modifications.

Saturday was GS legs and Coremax
Sunday was Christi 9801 hi/lo and ab hits.
Today was GS BSB and ab hits.

Tomorrow is step, then Wednesday should be GS CT and abs to wrap it up for the month.

Just got done with Leg work,SJP cardio&abs and freestyle upperbody.
Feeling good.
Had a temporary moment of insanity yesterday and did Bootcamp. Kicked my a*# but well worth the endorphin high I got afterwards! :7

I finally decided on High Step Circuit. I know it's a beginner/intermediate workout, but I havent' done any of the HS workouts in ages .....also I wanted to see if it was TOO easy, and I should think about getting rid of it.
I used a higher step all through than Cathe and the crew did and heavier weights and added on some reps. It still was probably the easiest workout I have , but I think I'll hang onto it for days when I don't feel up to the normal intense Cathe workouts.
There is definately not enough cardio in there for me, but I am heading out to cut the grass, so that should fix THAT problem for me!}(

Maybe a good way to get through this MONDAY, is to remember a 3 day weekend is near!!!
