Phyllis - why does Monday come around so darn quickly?

Yesterday was Stepfit, core and chest.

Today is back and some cardio that I can't for the life of me remember right now.:p

Phyllis I haven't done MIS in a very long time. I remember it moving along quite nicely.

Shelly You are back to one part per day this week right?

I am continuing with one part per day and using the CTX series this week. Today being day one is chest and a 6 mile run.

(I should have had you at least preview CTX when you were here.)

This morning I have HCX#2 Hi/Lo intervals on the docket.

Phyllis: I haven't done MIS in a long time either...

Shelley: I don't know why weekends go by so fast....BLECH!

Judy: The CTX series is so versatile. I use them so much!

Morning....jury's still out on whether it's good or not;-) I'll feel better with coffee. Nice weekend, houseful of friends, too much food but it was worth it. Worked out hard both mornings, awesome kickbox and upperbody Sat. Charlene Prickett Crazy for Step and yoga Sun. I'm pretty sure today will be forced rest day. Too many appointments today and we're all going to the dentist.

Phyllis, haven't pulled out MIS in a while. Enjoy LL tomorrow}( :)

Shelley, I did StepFit last week, I really like it, it may be older but the choreography is fresh. I skip the cool down, gosh it's long.

Good morning all. The weekends go so fast because they are so much FUN. Especially if you are in Roch-cha-cha with wonderful people and not working out and still losing 2 lbs!!!! Today will be a cardio day, probably Low Max. Have a great Wonderfulday.

Headin' out to the gym this morning to hit the U/B. CTX U/B is on the rotation but I am going to use the weight machines at the gym for the first time instead! I also have abs from All Step and Power Hour on tap!

Morning ladies. Just finished L&G and now I'm off to do a 20-30 minute run. I'm starting the Body Fat/Legs & Glutes rotation today. I have 3 and a half weeks until vacation and have to get my legs a little more into bikini shape.:p

Today is back to the normal grind for us and I have Step Blast on tap for today

Great workouts this weekend, Seasun's new Straight up Step is the BOMB!!!! Great intensity, complexity, you name it, this DVD does it!

Today was SS, nice change of pace but still challenging.

Hi Ladies -
Today is an off day for me. Last week on vacation, I did cardio every single day, which meant doubling up on some days to keep up with my weights. My knees are rather unhappy with me now - nothing disasterous, but I'm trying to head off more trouble while I still have the chance.

Lesson learned: my knees are older than the rest of me and just can't handle it anymore.

Yesterday was SM #3 and a good walk outside.
This morning was HST and C&W abs. This afternoon I'm walking on the bike/walking path.

Conni, how long did it take you to learn Straight up Step? Step is my very favorite cardio and I can't have too many step workouts but I have Rock Steady Step and am having difficulties learning it from start to finish. TRUE....I'm ALWAYS doing Cathe workouts so I probably haven't viewed it more than 4 or 5 times and attempted it once, but it seems like very advanced choreography. How does the new one rate??

Sandra...you are welcome, I have tried some more recipes. I think all of the Chipotle ones! No, I have not tried the Acorn squash one....not an Acorn squash fan..:(. You have gotten in some good workouts along with packing! I never noticed that in RS, now I'll have to look.

Heather...Tracie's BBBB might be a bit tougher than Jen's SIM. I think the cardio is about the same. I do of course remember Tracies from my Firm days...:)...I still have the other 2 to do so I'll let you know then what my fav is...:)

I am a bit sore from my long run yesterday. Today is GS Chest, tris, sho, abs and a 4 mile run.

Hello everybody!!!

Yesterday I didn't work out, this jet lag is killing me!! I was in the bed Sat night at 7 and out as soon as my head hit the pillow. I made it until 7:30 last night. I hope today will be better. I've sleep 10 1/2 hours a night the two nights I've been home.

I hope to start back working out today. I am going to use the TimeSaver DVD from the beginning and just do one of the TS's per day. We walked A LOT but it wasn't Cathe so I have to ease back into it. The day we took the walking tour in Rome, we walked 10 1/2 miles!!
 
Hi Becky,

SUS is the same as RSS in terms of complexity, imo. The intensity is right up there, not quite as "bouncy" feeling but you do sweat, that is for sure.

I have no problem with complex stuff, but it will take me a few tries to get this one down, if that is an indicator for you. Once I get this I know it will be a favorite, the moves are new, fresh, and everyone is having a good time.

I am doing Muscle Max today and some stretching. We took a short vactaion this weekend to the beach, but I did workout. Friday I did Imax 3, Saturday I did Stepblast and Legs and glutes lying work and took Sunday off. Hope everyone enjoys their Monday and I may have to start the one muscle group per day...hm

Hi ladies.

Well, I'm back from the gym. I wasn't very successful with the machines...I was pretty much lost! LOL Here's what I was able to accomplish:

Chest flies, incline chest press, bent arm lat row, shoulder press, flat tricep extension, bicep curl and a 1.5 mile run for good measure. :+

Now that I am home I am going to add on push ups, one arm rows, front raises, kickbacks and hammercurls plus the abs I have to do anyway.

Ya know if ever I needed a punching bag in the house it would be NOW!!! sigh.

I did Hardcore Kickbox Circuit today after not exercising for 3 days. With all this stress some days I feel like it and other days I say why even bother.sigh. I wonder how I am managing some days.

Hi!

This morning I did LowMax. It felt great! I had wonderful energy for this workout today, and was able to really keep it low and controlled. The second half of LM has awesome music. I might do one body part a day this week, using the Gym Styles. That means I might do Chest tonight. Will report in the morning whether I survived or not.

Tammy - yesterday you asked what my typical day of eating was like? Like I said, I'm not following the aggressive weightloss program, just doing the maintenance (and am still losing a couple of pounds a week). Yesterday (Sunday) I ate

breakfast and morning snacks: old-fashioned oatmeal (with chopped dates, apples and soymilk); a banana; an apple;

lunch and afternoon snacks: sweet potato & chick pea delight (vegan recipe from a website); spinach, mushroom, avocado salad with raspberry-balsamic vinegar; mixed nuts; raw red peppers and baby carrots; orange

dinner and evening snacks: acorn squash delight (from ETL), steamed kale, grilled portobello mushroom; field green & tomato salad with flaxseed oil and mango vinigrette; V-Go juice; cantaloupe; soymilk

Man, that looks like a lot of food! No wonder I'm not hungry.

Carole - chipolte, huh? That's new to me. I'll give one or two a try! Packing? Who's got time to pack when there are workouts to do LOL! We're getting there, one box at a time. We close the deal Tuesday morning.
