Good morning,

Feeling kinda tired today, but made it through MIS Upper body and abs.
I think this heat and humidity is getting to me a bit. It came on so fast I don't think my body has had time to adjust to warm temperatures.

I think I'm going to attempt Gauntlet today. We'll see how well that goes. I'm still sore from PUB work on Monday, which I had never done before. Happy hump day everyone!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!

This morning I did ME . I'm proud to say I finally made it through the bicep section, which is short but INTENSE! I did the weight and reps Cathe did. WOOO HOOOO!!! :D
Now I need to work on triceps!!! I can do it all until she gets to pushups and just can't do all the pushups at the END of triceps. Maybe if I did the pushups first........I'll have to try that. Triceps are my weakest body part anyway and pushups the hardest exercise for me, so my triceps are already shaking and BEGGING to have a rest when she says NOW TO PUSHUPS!!!!!! My triceps and I both cried and I got about 4 pushups out and collapsed on the floor and rested while everyone else finished up!!! What a wimp!!
But I'll keep working at it........

Another hot, humid, sunny SUMMER-like day in Ohio and I'm loving it !! :) OH HAPPY DAY!!!

Dutchie-I did power hour yesterday :) I love the way she does her reps in that WO

Becly- WOW! You did all the bicep's in ME! I would hardly say you are a wimp! In mY opinion do the triceps first then the biceps. After all those biceps your arms were probaly just to tired to do tri's!

To everyone else great work outs as well. Sorry some of you are getting beat with The heat. Denver is suppose to be high 70's today and that I can be comfy with.

Today is cardio and weights, abs, and then pub. Split up through out the day of course!

Conni - I totally agree with you about the heat. It just saps every bit of energy from you, doesn't it?

Debbie - let me know how The Gauntlet goes. I'm thinking I might have to order that DVD.

Dutchie - Wow! You must be super busy to miss your runs!

Becky - WHOA! I'm impressed. Those biceps in ME are killer. Don't you love that evil laugh she does partway through?

I did MM last night, and tried to match Cathe's weight on most things. Some I couldn't do, but I'm getting better.

Tonight is Imax 3 and a coremax segment. Probably 1 with those levitation holdsx(
 
Good Morning to all you Buff Ladies!:)

I am very excited because momma gets to go out tonight with out baby or husband!!! WOO HOO! lol My best friend is coming down tonight. She's gonna pick me up and we are going out to dinner. I can kick back and relax and have a couple of beers while dad stays home and takes care of our little bundle!:) You don't know how exciting this is! Dinners used to be a normal thing for me with my friends pre-baby and we always used to joke that we were losers with no lives cause it was the most exciting thing we could think of to do but now? Now I think it's AWESOME and completely exciting! Talk about a loser!!! LOL :p I feel like I should don a ball gown for the night cause it's so special! :+ Am I crazy? Be honest, I can take it!;)

That's a great idea!! I really do have weak triceps, but I'm going to try doing the tri's first and THEN bi's and see what happens. I may just be able to get through those pushups!!! It's not a lot of reps, just cannot handle them after everything else, so I'll take your suggestion and try it that way! Thanks!:)

Happy birthday to your son!! Mine turns 22 in August and I can't believe that either!!! How can it be???

Oh boy Wendy. You're brave! I was glued to Sophie for the first, well, let's say seven years of her life - she's 7 1/2 now:p

Are you breastfeeding Joey or is he on formula? And truly, I didn't leave Sophie for a LONG time, because she wouldn't even go near her dad until she was about 6 months old. Smart girl;)
 
Good morning ladies...

Laurie Mac...as far as results from freestyle. My legs have gotten a bit firmer. I am on my 3rd week. The first week I was amazed how sore I got without using much weight. It was also tough running as I had never worked out my legs 6 days a week before!! Last sunday in my long run I finally felt my leg strength come back. I need to clean up my diet a bit and I'll see more results. I do like this way of training though...thanks for asking.

Our heat is gone for a few days...but once it's back and stays, yes Shelley it does seem to zap all your energy...

Becky..good job on the biceps in ME!!

lol Shelley. Joey is mostly on formula. I am pumping breast milk but have to pump several times before it's enough to bother giving him so he gets breast milk via bottle every few days basically...better than none at all I guess.

Joey has no problems with his dad. Thank goodness! lol I was a bratty baby who only wanted my mommy and my grandma. I would not go near my dad or my grandpa...ANY man for that matter...I faired better with other women but was only TRULY happy with mom and grandma. Needless to say my mom spent lots of time at her mom's house with me and my sister! :)

If Joey had an issue with his dad I think I'd lose my mind! I love my baby to pieces but I need the space too. Some don't but I think I'd go insane if I couldn't get it once in a while.

Morning Everyone,

Today will be S&H Legs, 200 walking lunges and if I have time a short run. I will also be playing softball tonight. Of course we have thunderstorms in the forecast for today! Every Wednesday seems to be a chance of rain for us! :)

Carole, Thanks for the info. I have been debating doing the freestyle training. I put muscle on my legs so easily, that I was thinking this might be the way I should train.

Hey everyone!!

Finally a day off of work!!!! Wow!! Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of doing Hardcore Extreme workout # 1...what a incredible workout..Loved it!!! the transition from the 2 different workouts could have been smoother..as I was throwing my steps around to set up..but other than that..It was wonderful!!! I LOVE CATHE!!!

Today I will be doing:
This am:
Cathe: MIC or a steady state cardio run outside in this incredible heat wave we are having in Indiana...LOL

later in the afternoon:
P90X Shoulder and Arms and AB Rippper X

Laurie Mac....you definitely wouldn't bulk up with freestyle training...it can be time consuming though. Luckily you can do some Cathe workouts along with it by just decreasing the weight amount you lift to 70% of what you normally do. Freestyle is big on lots of reps too...:)...Carole
