Daily Check-in January 25,2006

Hi ladies,

Well I guess I will post here first today. Yesterday was supposed to be back, but biceps have been sore since friday so decided to take a rest day.

Today will be GS/MIS shoulders with legwork. Will put back workout in tomorrow.

Hello everyone! I started to feel sick last night thanks to DH who was already sick...so I slept in this morning. The crappy thing is we were supposed to play raquet ball last night but didn't! Oh well.

Tonight I'm going to try and work out with one of my friends here at work. If she backs out, I'll just go home and do 10*10*10 and KM Leg Drills!

Hi, ladies -
I was finally able to do my planned routine last night. No stupid problems to interfere! It was Kick Max, including the leg drills, along with my own abs - floor work, ball work, and I also tried Aquajock's new variation. Very effective for the lower abs!

Today is full body weights - half hour of legs, then half hour of upper body. I'm going to put in John Mellencamp's "Scarecrow" album and pump some iron. Been feeling kind of bored with leg work lately, but today I think I'm ready for some heavy stuff.
 
Hi Kim,Tammy, Jeanette and all who follow,

This morning I did 10*10*10 (using a mini trampoline for the high impact),GS shoulder work and HSC abs. I hope to get in GS bi/tris this afternoon.

I was able to do 100 Walking lunges last night. I may try and get another 100 in tonight. I use to hate any kind of lunge, but now I am begining to like them.:D

I had to laugh, Elaine, at your comment about lunges...you sound EXACTLY like me!:7

Today is supposed to be a rest day for me but I think I'm gonna do a GS upper body work out in full today. I intend to take a couple of rest days before I start the Jan. rotation on monday but I think I'll save them for the weekend....

Annette...it does take some time for things to get back to normal...it will...:)...

Wendy...sounds like an interesting workout yesterday! I think I'd be awful at Hip Hop...

Pamela...isn't PlyoX a killer!!! Yes I am enjoying my fast connection. Especially looking at everyones Picture trail as the pics come up so fast now!

Kim..it is good to take a rest day when you are sore..:)

Tammy...I vote for HSTA...:)

Jeanette...hope you feel better. There seems to be alot of stuff going around here...

Shannon...looks like you got in a great workout. I need to try A Jocks ab variation myself...:)

Elaine...lunges do great things to your legs...as Wendy knows...:+

I am doing P90X Chest, shoulders and triceps. AbRipperX and maybe a kickbox circuit doing some leg work in between kicking and punching...

Morning ladies. Well, I had a monster headache this morning and ended up staying in bed, so no Cathe workout!:( However, I signed up for Ballroom Dancing classes and my first private lesson is tonight, so hopefully I will get some exercise out of that. I'm planning to do the more Latin/Rhythmic style dancing, so I'm really hoping that after a few classes I'm going to start getting a really good workout.

Good morning,

Last night I did PUB and a 25 min treadmill run. I'm finally getting used to treadmill running and it's not feeling so awkward anymore. It's still extremely boring, though. I'm glad the rotation doesn't call for another run for a week and a half. I haven't done PUB in a while - felt great! I love that workout.

Kim - I'm not surprised your biceps are still hurting you. That was some intense work you did last week!

Tammy - HSTA gets my vote!

Jeanette - good luck getting your workout in today; take it easy if you're not feeling too good.

Shannon - I'm glad to hear Aquajock's ab suggestion is effective. I'm going to try that the next time I do one of Cathe's traditional ab routines. "Scarecrow" was one of my all-time favourite albums back in the day. It's one of those that still holds up well after all these years. Have fun!

ElaineP - excellent work on the walking lunges!!

Wendy - have a great time with your GS workout. I have yet to try them, since I've been doing fatloss rotations. I think next month I might do a one-body-part-per-day rotation, and finally dust off the Gymstyles. I'm actually longing to do the SH series. Those ones always made me feel pumped, especially when combined with PUB!

Carole - yes, I think it's definitely the music in LG that makes it so much fun. And the absence of the traditional barbell squats, etc. that she puts in every other one of her leg routines. It's a nice change.

Katie - ballroom dancing sounds like so much fun! Get rid of that headache and have a hootin' great time!

This evening's workout will be PLB and ME abs. I'm dreading the stability ball work in PLB....}(

Baby Kate is 4 months old today, and on Sunday she rolled over for the first time! My baby is growing so fast I can't believe it!

How’s everyone this snowy morning? Last night, I made it through P90x Plyo I had to stop here and there but I made it :p :7

Tonight, Kick Max Ouch }( I finally made up my mind today and I ordered Body Blast SJ&P + Step Blast. Thank you all for you help :) :) :) I think I'm going to order Terminator DVD in a few weeks :p

Evening ladies,

Yesterday I woke up after a 3rd interrupted night's sleep. I had a bad headache and felt really tired. So I just went back to sleep. Thought I'd get my w/o in that evening, but forgot I had my 2nd puppy obedience class with Spooky. So that's one unplanned rest day.

Today I did a 6K run plus MM-legs only. I was running late and had company coming, so had to skip on the UB part.

Seems I'm not the only one who's days don't go as planned:)
 
Due to a phone call, I only got in 25 min. of Cardio Kicks this afternoon but at least I did something. I will promise to do better tomorrow!!

YIKES YOWZA OMG! LOL

I just finished GSC&T and all I can say is...I cried for my mommy ALOT during that work out!!! }(

I have done it in bits and pieces due to time constraints as I always was doing something else with it but when you do the whole thing as produced she really layers on the pain! LOL

I LOVE IT! DOMS HERE I COME!!!}( :+ }(

Sandra, I think that you will have a great time with this! Talk about feeling PUMPED!:+

I will do GS Legs tomorrow...another that I have not done from start to finish yet...I'm scared now!;)

Sandra: PUB is awesome! I agree that the treadmill can be boring...have you tried CardioCoach? That is the only way I can run on the treadmill AND look forward to it!

Teddygirl: Enjoy KickMax...I LOVE those leg conditioning drills.

Katie: I hope you feel better soon. Ballroom dancing sounds fun, I always wanted to learn to dance.

Carole: I'm really enjoying AbRipperX. I only ordered a few P90x's, but now wish I had ordered all of them. Great workout for you today!

Circuit Max which was a blast!!! I like that one.

I don't have 10-10-10 so I subbed BC cardio only and HSTA cardio only.
