Good morning! How's everybody doing?!

Tammy - still praying for your mom and you. Hang in there friend.

Today is Cardio and Weights which may be done in AIR CONDITIONING! It was 80 here yesterday and suppose to be 82 today. I'm not doing C&W at 82 degrees without AC. I know, I know... I'm a wimp!:p

Wow, Jane, 82! That a thrill! It's supposed to be warm here today too, but I think only in the early 70's. Enjoy C&W.

LIC lower body circuit today. It wasn't much of a lower body WO. Cathe only uses 5lb weights and there are only 3 LB segments. The cardio was greatthough. It used all 4 cardo segments. If I do it again I would heavy up and maybe repeat the segments or add some of my own stuff. It was just under 1 hr.

Jane, it was 80 degrees here yesterday too !!! A fantastic day!:D

Today it's raining but if it stays warm....I have my covered deck now, so I can still get outside.:7 :7

I was up for the day at 3:30am after a night of tossing, turning and bad dreams. I wonder what that was all about?

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

I slept in late, so I think I'm going to take a rest day. I do manage to only use the stairs in the hospital, so I guess going up and down the stairs will be my cardio for the day.

They did a trach yesterday. She continually takes two steps forward and one step back. Thanks again for your continued prayers.

Jane: WOW! 82? We are only expecting temps in the 60's, but that is fine with me! Enjoy C&W, that one is so much fun!

Phyllis: Thanks for the LIC LB breakdown...it sounds perfect as I don't like to use heavy weights for my LB.

Tig: B&G eh?}( }( }( If you go to step class, be careful;) ;)

Tammy, listen to your body and have no guilt about your rest day. I doubt you can even really call it that. :( We are all thinking about you every day!!

I just did push pull upper body premix and added 1/2 of Amy Bento's #1 abs. That's it. Off to the shower!

Gay Gasper's reactive strength on the Bosu sections 1-2, then Marcus Irwin's hi/lo section of Topless Blocks, then ab hits ( BM ) with Cathe.

I always love to see what you come up with! and like I've said before, you make me want to broaden my horizons...or at least my step collection. But I've decided for right now anyway, with Cathe so close to announcing her next workouts, I'll wait and see what she's doing first. Kickbox and Hi/lo I can pass on without feeling bad about it because I just don't care for either but ANY step or weights of Cathes and I'm IN !!!!}( :7 }(
 
YAY!!! I actually worked out!! LOL!!

Yesterday was good, my dh had taken me out to lunch on Monday and we don't celebrate my birthday or my mil's (which is tomorrow) till Saturday which is with all my dh's family. My mil and I are pretty much exactly 30 years apart.

I did the Fat Blasting Cardio today with weighted gloves. Felt good.

Alright...I just got Barry's BootCamp y'day so I just HAD to trade in B&G for BBC's Butt and Legs work out! I couldn't resist trying it! LOL

All I can say is OMG!!!! It was AWESOME! I only did the weight portion so I can't comment on the cardio but wow, what a work out! I was SWEATING SWEATING SWEATING! They really hit it in just 30 mins. It didn't look like much when I previewed it but I was quickly humbled...}( }( }(

Daily Check-in

This was a better day than yesterday. My body is slowly acclimating to the time change. After my quiet time this morning, I did the second Gym Style Legs timesaver premix. I was running a few minutes late and needed to save time. This gave me a taste of the whole workout. The standing leg work is my favorite part. Even though I am not a big fan of floor work, I enjoyed the exercises with the band. I love the pretty peach tops Cathe and the girls are wearing. That is one of my favorite colors. Next week, I may do the standing work and floor work on different days. I missed the slow-count lunges and the calf work by doing this premix. I missed the deadlifts too now that I think about it. I did this workout a few times last year, and I am writing this on memory. I just know that the standing work in this premix is too short for my taste. When time is an issue, I would be better off to save the floor work for another day.

The upper body workouts are new to me. I am planning to try the timesaver premixes for both of them in the morning just to get a feel for them. I need to take a peek at them before bedtime tonight so I can get ready.

I bounced on my rebounder tonight. I was hoping to do some intense cardio but did not have enough time or energy. This month is not going according to plan, but I am staying on track by sticking with my rotation as closely as possible while listening to my body and making adjustments as needed. I have been cheese and chocolate free for a month now with no visible difference in my body. In my experience, eating super clean is not necessary. Moderately clean plus portion control is good enough. Moderation, variety, and balance are keys for me (as well as avoiding anything that causes an allergic reaction).

Mom called me during my lunch hour to let me know that my brother and sister-in-love are expecting a new baby in November. I am so excited! I will have another niece or nephew to love on Thanksgiving! My niece is walking now and growing up way too fast. I am so happy to have another baby on the way. :)

I made it to bed by midnight last night, and I am on track to be in bed much earlier tonight. My counselor cancelled our Friday night session due to a family emergency, and I am actually glad. I need rest more than I need counseling this week!

Becky, what have you done to the cardio haters? ;-) They never posted like crazy until you joined! LOL! :7
