I worked out yesterday (growningananas for 50 minutes - hiit cardio/bodyweight). Today I did Cathe's 2.0 Upper Body 2 - I didn't do the chest segment as my right shoulder continues to bother me.

WTG with your workouts yesterday ladies!!! Congrats on your good news Annette. I'm sure this was great to hear.

Hi ladies,

Can't believe I just did 83 minutes of a heavy weight workout. Started with barbell bench press with just the barbell which is 45 pounds. Did that for 10 reps, then upped it to 65 for 8 reps, then 75 for 6 and 85 for 4 and 1 rep (barely) at 95 pounds, moved to the back machine for 30 pounds on each side doing over and underhand grips for 3 different hand positions, 1 hand position is done with both hands, then I moved to dumbbells where I did chest flyes and press with 25's, hammer curls with 25's, 30's, and 35's. Concentration curls with 20's, shoulder shrugs with 25's and 30's. Shoulder press with 20's, overhead 1 dumbbell holding fat ends for triceps at 20 pounds, then did the incline leg press with 45 on each side doing 10 reps and the holding at the top for a count of 20 and repeating for 4 sets ended with floorwork for abs, legs and glutes plus a nice stretch.

So hopefully I can function this weekend, whew!!

Now I need a plan for next week.

of heavy weight work. I wish I could lift heavy weight like that. I do what I can, you inspire me to keep at it:)

I had to skip my scheduled workout today and do errands and get a flu shot. I did get a little workout in of DVD walking with DH to keep him exercising with his diabetes, its an absolute must. He likes using the walking DVD's & his Total Gym, so I'm encouraging him to jump on the exercise wagon with what he likes doing.
