I'll get us started .........:)

Q: What is the shortest duration of a job you had?
For me it was a 5 day job working at a hardware store. They gave me no training to speak of, I was terribly incompetent & the customers got fed up with me due to my lack of knowledge. I quit, although I probably would have been fired before long or when they found someone better. lol.

I'm thinking Cathe's latest DVDs are going to be really tough.

Hi Elsie,

Thanks for getting us started.

Today I was once again just really really tired, so my workout for the day was walking to and from the midwife for my check-up and walking to the grocery store. At least I got more than 10,000 steps in, even if I cannot do a workout, so it's something.

Shortest held job is a tie I think... two summer jobs I think the summer I was 16. One was at McDonalds where I lasted less than a week. Not only was the uniform a terrible fit, but the first job for newbies was at the fries station, so making fries for the whole shift. Also there were strict rules about repeating the order to the cashiers to confirm you had heard them. That drove me nuts! And if we wanted to eat or drink something during our break we got 30% employee discount. Ugh!

The other job I tried that summer and hated was cleaning in a nursing home for old people. I think I lasted even less days there as some of the older people started coughing so much while I was in their room that I freaked out thinking they were going to choke and die right in front of me.

Fortunately I got a job as a dishwasher at an Italian restaurant for the rest of that summer. Hard work, but something I could handle.

Hi ladies,

Today I taught my disco circuit class to 5 ladies for 51 minutes.

Then I did 40 minutes of moderate dumbbell work going for higher reps so I am feeling it.

Gotcha both beat, lasted 1 shift/day as a housekeeper at a Holiday Inn[emoji44]! I was too slow and the only thing I was good at was polishing the fixtures. You worked until you were done with the rooms assigned to you no matter how long it took, for minimum wage.

I pretty much finished that first training day and never went back, didn't even call to say I quit. But I did have to go back to get my paycheck for the one day.

Have a great day and workout!![emoji3]

Excellent question and funny answers! It’s nice to know “we all went through it”!! I lasted I think 1 shift at a pizza place. No training, slamming busy. I had no idea what I was doing. Someone asked for a slice of pepperoni so I took a slice of cheese and put pepperoni on it (like I was supposed to) then put it on the plate and handed it to the customer!! I didn’t know enough to put it in the oven for a quick warm up with the pepperoni! No clue. They didn’t like me very much.

Great workouts ladies. Yes you too Henriette. Walking a lot while pregnant can be tough at your stage. Today I did Drill Max. The new workouts are coming along now. I was starting to wonder what the hell was going on. Linda has been keeping them on their toes though. Thanks Linda!

I lasted 1 day on a job at a sewing factory! When my ex & I graduated from HS, and before we married, we both
Started at the same place so we could go together, etc. he was in shipping, warehouse, and actually ended up
Working there until he retired. But, I was at a sewing machine, I think I did sergeing or something like that,
Anyway by lunch I knew I was not coming back :) and I didn't. I ended up taking his sister's job at an insurance
Agency the next month, cause she was expecting a baby and wasn't coming back. I ended up staying there about
6 + yrs or until I switched to my current job where I have been 39 yrs.

Back to report in 2 shorty workouts again, both walking ones. First I did Chris Freytag's Power Walk. I hadn't done
That one in a long time, and forgot how fun it was. Jessica Smith is in it too. Then I did Weight Watchers 10 min
Walk which is an oldie but goodie too. The instructor in that one is Ellen Barrett. I really like her, she is so
Pleasant. That's it for this evening.

Yes, Peg, I know I worry the heck out of them sometimes....I don't mean too ( :), really) but I just wanna know
Things! I know a little about some of that stuff, but inquiring minds ask questions!

Lol, so many great stories ladies!!! Thanks. I think most hotel folks are underappreciated, Annette. I didn't realize that about how the housekeeping staff were paid. Wow.

My w-o is RWH Plyo one & Physique 57 15 mins Arms. I didn't get the RWH series (but I do have this download) ....not a fave of mine.

Have a great night. I have to head out now & pick up some bread etc.
