Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did more Daily Burn - shoulders and abs + one weighted tabata with bob harper. I think my DD did a Workout blender - upper body yesterday after school.

QOTD:
What do you want for Christmas this year?
I have asked my DH to cover the cost of a tarot card reading course I am waitlisted for in January - Its $355 + accessories

Hi Siobhan. Nice workout! I agree about instructors being a nuisance. I can’t do Jillian, just can’t!! Wishlist?? Right now I’m looking at the Iwatch. We’ll see. My husband is good to me so I don’t really “want” for anything right now. I usually ask for perfume that’s more expensive than my regular scents.

My workout today was Cathes Intensity plus the Bootcamp bonus. Holy crap! Many breaks!

I’m thinking of you Henriette! Sending gentle hugs! I hope everyone else is doing well.

Way to go on your workouts this morning Peg & Ceci. Still super early here yet. I haven't done any workouts for two days, so really want to get in something later today if I can. :)
qotd -I really want a ticket to fly home for the holidays. It's a steep ask for Santa, I know.
Henriette, how are you feeling?
Missy, hoping you are home from surgery and recovering today. ((take care))

Hey there Linda and Annette ..... be catching up with you later. Hope you're having a nice one so far.

Hi ladies,

Nice workouts Peg and Siobhan.

I am taking a rest day today... in the hopes that this baby will make an appearance sooner rather than later.

Elsie - you asked what happens here when you move past your due date. Well it's not until you are 2 weeks late that they have to induce labor at the hospital, but I have been given some options and have decided to try membrane stripping by the midwife to induce it, twice and if that still doesn't work then I want to be induced at the hospital at 41 weeks. The first time with the stripping was this afternoon and I am feeling changes now while relaxing, but no clear signs that labor has started yet. If it works it should be within 24hours and adrenaline would prevent my hormones from doing what they need to do, so lots of reading and Netflix for me now.

For the rest, I have been feeling fine, I must say I have been blessed during this pregnancy and surprised myself that I could workout until 40 weeks. I am now ready to meet this little one... although I am also both scared and excited about all the changes having a newborn again will bring.

Missy - hope you are healing from your surgery. Thinking of you.

Yesterday's 2nd question - yes! Some trainers really irritate me and I just cannot do those workouts, even if they might be good. Viveca Jensen from the Piloxing DVD is one of them... Tony Horton is another. Several of the trainers that have been on Get Healthy You tv also irritate me. I can't really seem to click with Jenny Ford either... as much as I want to try some of her YouTube workouts. Others have mentioned Leslie... I am not a big fan, but I can tolerate her once in a blue moon. I quite like Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, but have not done their workouts in a long time. Charlene Johnson and Shaun T and Kelly (KCM) are all good and come across as nice people, all very different but not in a way that bothers me and of course no one beats Cathe!

Today's question - I honestly have no idea. My bf got me FitBit Charge HR2 for me bday recently and shortly before that he got me an iPhone 7, which I was too cheapskate to buy myself. I am fine with buying loads of things for hundreds of euros, but never manage to fork out hundreds of euros for just one thing like a new phone or iPad. So far my bf has bought me all of those things. For the rest I buy whatever I want when I want it, more or less, although the past months my money has been spent mainly on baby things. I don't think I really have any wishes. There is one particular Michael Kors bag that I want to get, but I will probably just wait until I find it on sale and then buy it myself. So for Christmas I will be happy if I get to spend it at home with my bf and our little boy... that's enough of a gift for me. [emoji7]

We are also still talking about getting a puppy, but that's not a Christmas present... it's an addition to our family. The more the merrier, but first we need to add this baby to the family and figure things out, so we have not decided when it will be the best time to add the puppy yet.

Hi gals,

Today I taught my aerobic circuit workout to 6 ladies for 50 minutes, really fun routine for a Friday. Then I did 42 minutes of weight work with varied poundage. My right arm is still noticeably weaker than my left arm, sigh[emoji45].

Nice workout, all dumbbell work, took a break from the cables today.

Have a great day and workout!![emoji16]

Honestly I don't usually ask for anything for Christmas, last year my hubby paid for my certification and it isn't due again till next year.

I did find out that evidently my certification would allow me to work as a personal trainer, not sure who would hire me.

I will, Annette! You can train me to lift them heavy weights like you do, but you will probably quit! :) due to your
Student's (me) inability to accomplish it!

Since its just me& Coco now, no Christmas wants....I just wish for us both to be here and ok..

Good workouts girls!

Tonite I did a blender mix of a little kickbox, a little step and a little upper body weight work. Nothing to Strenuous, still trying to be careful with my hip and foot. Hope tonight finds everyone well...

BTW, don't think I answered the question about instructors, if I don't click with them, I avoid them.
I do like Leslie, some Jessica, a lot of them, I just try to keep it varied a lot so I don't get bored,
Because I can become bored very easily....I think 12-16 reps of an exercise is enough, anything more
Than that at one time is "overkill". You know, do 12 reps, move on to something else, and repeat it
Later if you must...:) Most instructors that I use their workouts will do that. That's one of the
Reasons that I like most all Firm workouts, because of their variety of moves and rep count.
Didn't mean to ramble on!!!

Just checking in with last night's workout .....Hasfit total body weights which used a Tri-sets 8-7-7 rep scheme. Loved it & could go heavy! Added on a prone pilates 'finisher'.
I hope we all get our Xmas wishes whether it's stuff or experiences/joys/our favourite people + animals.

Hope you're feeling good, Henriette while waiting for him to make his arrival! :) Your system in NL with the midwife etc. sounds so sensible and less stressful than what we have.
Hoping your recovery is going very well ((Missy)).
