Good morning to everyone!

Today's workouts:

KCM-Cardio Fit- Workout # 1 (Kickboxing & Lower Body weights) - 30 min. (love this dvd)
Killer Legs-Bonus Barre- 18 min. (not too fond of this one)
Hydrow- 8 min. "Boys in the Boat" Rowing in Seattle WA with 5 min. Post Row Stretch

That's it....except for more Shovel Max today! Getting a little more snow, but not predicting too much!
I hope they're right this time!

I am finding it so challenging to get up these days. That's not like me. I spring from my bed most mornings. Winter makes it tougher for me. I think the cold and the dark leave me wanting to sleep a bit longer but I'm fighting it.

Today I did Cathe's latest live - a cardio express for 30 minutes. I added on 21 minutes of hoco.

Nice workout this morning Linda. Enjoy your Shovelmax workout.

I don't want to pressure you Lannette but it's nice to see you checking in.

Siobhan, I am with you on wanting to sleep in…..but I have to get Jack up & out!!
good workout doing Cathe's latest live - a cardio express for 30 minutes & 21 minutes of hoco. I like that yesterday’s Live was an express 31 min. But I am not to keen on alot
of those recovery moves…most of them were in the Active Recovery workout in STS2.

Try a vitamin D3 supplement. It’s the best thing for winter blah. You lack sunlight and your levels are probably low. The best is in drop form. I love mine. Keep the seasonal affect at bay!

You’re doing the right thing by continuing to exercise. Go lighter or “funner” if that helps you. I know how hard it is to do this when you feel run down. Keep up the fight! Spring always returns.
I don't want to pressure you Lannette but it's nice to see you checking in.

Managed 45 minutes of Body Max 2, just the step portion. That DVD is so fun! Lots of stretching for the feet and calves and I modified the impact to make sure I’m keeping the feet happy.

Linda, I like your workout choices! We’re getting a break from snow fall. I hope yours is manageable.

Anita, I hope your PF reverses quickly. We’re far enough north to need VIT D year round. I also love Body Max 2!

Siobhan, Nice workout! I used to have all the HoCo DVDs but recently gave them away because I wasn’t using them and the recipient would. :)Thanks for the encouragement! I appreciate it. Next week will be a challenge because of so many appointments but I’m determined to do my best.

I get the long dark winter day and how it can sap motivation. I think you’re even further north than we are and we feel it.

Nora, Your endurance amazes me! I hope to eventually approach what you’re able to do.

Annette, You’re the woman! Pushing a 700+ pound sled! Thats the weight of a small car!

Today is what I consider a restorative day. I did one of my favorite Pilates Reformer sessions. It’s only 23 minutes long but never fails to leave me feeling relaxed and recharged.

Later today I’ll do some walking, probably no more than a mile. Just enough to get my blood moving and keep my numbers in line.

Yay! Take care of that foot…. I always have a lot of feet problems…I am sitting here right now with my ankle support on!

sounds good to me! Yup, I think I am done shoveling as long as it doesn’t start up
again.

Today it is snowing a very pretty snow. I am getting my hair permed this afternoon so hubby will most likely drive me.

So today I did a CDORNER Cardio Kickboxing HIIT off YouTube, it was 40 minutes long and I wore my wrist weights.

Nice workouts ladies. Be careful taking Vitamin D and don't take too much!

Off to change and brave the weather.

Siobhan- I can relate I have to struggle with this everyday. Maybe your body wants you to get more sleep, just a thought.

Anita- Sorry to hear that your dealing with Plantar Facitis in your right foot. It's good you are modifying the impact in your workouts to be more PF friendly.
I have had PF many times and my doctor suggested to ice the area before & after a workout, that did help. It takes time for the facia to heal, be patient,
do the ice thing, may be see if you need new workout shoes, just a thought.:)

Pilates Reformer session= 23 Min- Nice that is a go to rewlazing & feel good workout for you.
Then you mentioned possibly adding on a 1 mile walk later. Fun workout, WTG & high fives:)

Ok I hope you gals won’t object to a little morbid exercise humor. I wasn’t going to share this but…..

For some reason I read “CDORNER” as “CORONER” and I immediately thought “that can’t be right but it must be a KILLER workout!” :oops:

Obviously I’m not familiar with CDORNER.
 
CDORNER is Christine Dorner another New Jersey based fitness person who streams live workout on her channel every day at 9 am EST. I watch her after they are uploaded to YouTube. She has a great deal of variety from Step to weights, to HIIT, kickboxing and mobility workouts.

Thanks for the explanation Annette. Thanks for the reminder about too much Vit D. We’re taking exactly what was suggested by our MD and no more. Still, a good reminder since it’s a fat soluble vitamin.
 
Lannette, that was priceless! I've done a few of Christine's easier step workouts, and
she's pretty good.......... I didn't realize that she streams a new workout each day...that's
pretty neat...
